Chapter 4260: Good Luck To Us All
Going back in time a little...
Roan was in his room, still looking at that Crystal. "Can we use this for something?"
Rean was already back. He decided to go to the Arrays Guild after this. "Let me take a look."
Rean checked the Crystal up close, and in the end, he shook his head. "This is not an Array of any type, it seems. However, I do believe it was manufactured. Look at some of these edges," Rean said and pointed out. "They aren’t the kind of thing that can occur naturally."
Roan nodded slightly. "With your experience in creating and forging things, you are most likely right. Sister Orb, have you found anything in the Besgol Region Network?"
[Nothing at all,] Sister Orb helped from her side. [There are, obviously, many projects and research on Godly Pressure, mostly to fight against it and keep it outside. There was one or another thing here and there about storing Godly Pressure, but it doesn’t look like any of them worked.]
"Just storing isn’t enough," Rean commented. "This thing absorbs Godly Pressure and eliminates it completely. If it were just storage, it would reach a limit, and at that moment, it would stop working. I wonder if it is possible to send Godly Pressure into the Spatial Rings’ Dimensional Realms."
"So you’re saying this thing might have a Spatial Storage?" Kentucky was the one to ask now.
"Nah..." Rean shook his head, though. "That was just an idea of mine. There is no Godly Pressure inside the regions, and we can create Godly Energy ourselves. So it would be nice if we could store the pressure and then create Godly Energy while here. But for that, we need access to our Pocket Dimensional Realm... which is our entire Great Void. It still feels weird to think like that."
"Anyway, what I’m saying is that the Spatial Ring’s Dimension wouldn’t work. The Sacred Relic would definitely find the Godly Pressure stored inside, so you would actually look more like a bright star in the middle of the darkness. It would be a terrible idea. The crystal is truly getting rid of the Godly Pressure some other way."
Celis had his doubts. "How can it be absorbing the Godly Pressure and eliminating it without any output? Something must happen to the Godly Pressure. It has to go somewhere or transform into something, no?"
Rean thought for a moment... What Celis said made sense. Otherwise, it would go against the laws of conservation of energy. "Give me one of the Godly Crystals you stole. Also, there seems to be a specific method to make it work too, but I think I have it figured out. If it was anyone else, I doubt they would have understood what this thing is at all, let alone make it do what it is supposed to do."
Roan passed one to Rean. Since Godly Energy Crystals were also made by merging Celestial Energy and Godly Pressure, they contained Godly Pressure. It’s just that it’s in a different form now after the merge.
Then... Rean began to run his cultivation technique in reverse, just slightly, while focusing on the crystal. In front of everyone, the Godly Energy of the Godly Crystal began to break apart, causing Godly Pressure and Celestial Energy to appear separately this time.
"We can do that?!" Celis was taken aback. The uses for that were unlimited!
Roan narrowed his eyes. "Careful to not create too much Godly Pressure. The Sacred Relic might think there is a Godly Creature here in my room."
Rean nodded and redirected that Godly Pressure into the crystal straight away. Now, they could finally see it. The Godly Pressure that entered the crystal was being released again, but this time in the form of two very familiar types of energy for Rean and Roan.
"Yin and Yang, uh..." Rean commented and felt it made sense. "Everything in existence has Yin or Yang energy in their composition. Maybe a lot, maybe a little. Some have only Yin, others have only Yang, and most have both. In any case, you won’t find a single atom that can run away from this truth. Godly Pressure, as mystical as it feels, is still bound by these rules."
Roan agreed. "And whoever created this crystal found a way of breaking Godly Pressure back into these two most primordial energies. It was quite smart. I wonder how they manufactured this crystal."
Rean returned the Godly Crystal to Roan and kept the other in his hand. "Well, it will do us no good to keep this thing. It is good that we know how it worked, though. Should we just throw it away?"
[Errr... I have a better idea.]
"We are listening."
[This thing has the capacity to alter the destiny of the entire Besgol Region if used properly. I’m the new system, but I was also given the ability to use large shifts in destiny caused by our group to generate Orb Points.]
"You mean, just like the Soul Gem System could?" Rean and the others asked.
[Indeed. Don’t forget I was built based on that system, after all. I don’t know if I have the Destiny Attraction thing, but I can definitely make use of the destiny shifts.]
Roan pondered a bit. "Make the best of what we have... Then I know where the biggest shift would occur."
And thus, the twins arranged for the Crystal to be delivered to the Godly Subjugation Guild. Naturally, they made sure that no one would be able to track them down after they left the box in the Guild. Rean’s Body Transformation still worked perfectly fine, and he made himself look like a completely different person with different energy and aura.
One might be thinking: If the Sacred Relic can track anyone, can’t it also track the transformed Rean? Well, turns out that the Relic tracks others based on their auras, which can’t be changed... or so they think. Too bad that Rean’s epitome Light Element that supported his Body Transformation can completely change even his aura. He already tested it by trying to use his own ID once he transformed, and it simply didn’t work.
Too bad he can’t create fake IDs with the same method. IDs for new ascenders are always given in the Buffer Zone, and he can’t return there anymore. At least not now.
Finally, he left the box there, and the result of his quick analysis was written inside. Even if someone had seen him or had any recording of him, that was meaningless. That’s because the person who delivered the box didn’t exist anymore by the time the box got to the top experts of the Besgol Region.
---
Arcis and the others also checked the box Tobao was holding. They saw the written content inside, and they were shocked by what they found.
-Hello, everyone. My friend just so happened to put his hand in this thing... Well, who are we fooling here? He basically stole this crystal from its original owner while trying to make some quick money. Do you believe that if we say it was just a coincidence?-
No doubt Rean wrote that.
-Anyway, the point is, this crystal is bad news for our Besgol Region, so we decided to deliver it to you guys so you could decide what to do. Due to safety concerns, we can not reveal ourselves to you. We truly only got involved by coincidence, trust me, and we don’t want to stay like that, so this thing is now yours. Please forgive us if delivering this box was the most we could do. Alright, that’s it. Good luck to us all.-
