Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4188: Desperation! II

Chapter 4188: Desperation! II

Noah opened his eyes, the world outside his internal sanctum snapping back into focus.

He felt the bloody purple flames dancing across his skin, a warm, empowering caress.

Beside him, Khor’s eyes had widened, her usual mischievous curiosity replaced by a flicker of genuine astonishment.

She smiled, a slow, knowing expression spreading across her face. "Outsider," she said, her voice a mixture of surprise and approval, "you began playing with your heart right away?"

Noah only gave a nod.

His gaze was fixed on the unfolding apocalypse, but his will was directed inward, toward the extensions of his own being. A command, silent and absolute, shot through his connections.

’Give your Complexity. Give your Purity. Give it all to your Heart’

HUUM!

Behind him, the auras of Ra’Zan, the Primordial Stone Ape, and Ozymandias momentarily vanished, as if their very existences had been snuffed out.

Then, in the next instant, they erupted anew, each of them wreathed in bloody obsidian flames different from the ones that now danced around him!

This was the first step!

He would now see what wonders this new state could achieve. Later, perhaps, he would consider feeding his Heart Everythings. But for now, it was time to test this newfound power.

He looked up and forgot all other Dead Existences but the one above them- at the massive, Mummified Dead Existence that floated above the ruins of Concordia.

It was still edging away from the impending clash between Nysteria and the nine-headed turtle, its attention divided.

It was something he would not even think of touching yet as its complexity was at 500 Trillion!

And yet...

He took a single step.

Your Heart of Tyranny has pulled from the weavings of the Living Existential Authority of Quantum within you. It asks a simple question: What is distance under the gaze of a Tyrant?

WAP!

The answer was: a suggestion.

He didn’t traverse the space; he simply ceased to be in one location and began to be in another. His feet, wreathed in bloody purple flames, smashed onto the mummified creature’s dried, ancient skin!

BOOM!

The impact was not of flesh against flesh, but of will against existence. It felt as if he were an ancient hammer, his legs fold-stones, striking a blow that resonated across dimensions!

This was a creature of 500 Trillion Complexity.

Half a Quadrillion.

The moment his flames flared and touched its form...

BOOM!

The Heart of Tyranny has exerted its effects. The Complexity of the current target has been reduced by 75 Trillion.

The Mummified Dead Existence’s vacant eyes widened with a shock that transcended its undead state. Before it could even begin to process the sudden, crippling loss of power...

BOOM!

A mass of tentacles, each one a tendril of pure hunger wrapped in bloody obsidian flames, slammed into its side.

It was Ozymandias, his arrival as instantaneous and inevitable as his other body!

The Heart of Hunger has exerted its effects. The Complexity of the current target has been reduced by 125 Trillion.

The creature staggered, its massive form reeling from a second, even more devastating blow!

And then, from above, two heavy pillars of death and fury descended.

BOOM! BOOM!

Ra’Zan and the Primordial Stone Ape, both shrouded in the same bloody flames, smashed onto the Mummified Dead Existence with the force of collapsing stars.

The Heart of Hungerhas exerted its effects. The Complexity of the current target has been reduced by 125 Trillion.

The Heart of Death has exerted its effects. The Complexity of the current target has been reduced by 150 Trillion.

The Mummified Dead Existence went from shock to horror. 75 Trillion, then 125 Trillion, another 125, and then a final, crushing 150 Trillion!

A total of 475 Trillion Complexity had been stripped from it in the span of a single nanosecond!

It was left with a mere 25 Trillion, a pale shadow of its former might. Its body buzzed and trembled, feeling the collective, oppressive pressure of four tyrannical Hearts.

Its gaze met Noah’s. It saw no mercy there, only a cold, apathetic brilliance!

Noah felt the immense weight of his new Heart, the glorious, terrible power that now resided within him.

He gathered it all, every ounce of his newfound might, and channeled it into a single point. His leg, painted in a deep, bloody purple hue, rose high into the air like an axe of a stifled emperor letting loose!

BOOM!

His leg thundered down. It was small, impossibly so against the colossal form of his enemy, but the weight it carried shattered space like a mirror.

It landed, and the creature’s dried skin and ancient bones buzzed for a fraction of a nanosecond before the Mummified Dead Existence... fractured into two pieces.

CRACK!

A horrid scene.

A glorious scene!

A scene of The Early Creature, Osmont, getting unfathomably serious!

Because there was too much he could not afford to lose.

He felt the intoxicating power of his heart continuing to beat, a symphony of tyrannical might.

In the next moment, the bony, obsidian tentacles of Ozymandias and Ra’Zan extended toward the two halves of the Mummified Dead Existence as...the devouring and eventual summoning of The Dead began!

The bloody purple flames felt... right. They coiled around Noah’s form not with the destructive heat of a normal conflagration, but with the empowering warmth of a coronation robe woven from pure, unadulterated will.

It was an intoxicating sensation, this perfect fusion of his complexity, his purity, and his very essence into a singular, overwhelming expression of his authority!

This was power not as a tool to be wielded, but as an extension of his own being, as natural and effortless as breathing.

"The power feels intoxicating, doesn’t it?"

Khor’s voice was a soft murmur beside him, a thread of ancient amusement woven into the chaotic symphony of the unfolding decimation.

She floated with a placid calm, a tiny, obsidian star in a universe of dying light.

"I found this to be another true expression of power, apart from the Glyphs of Early Creatures. Whether it be Fold Dwellers or Inevitabilities... they could do this too as it somewhat tipped the scales in their favor."

...!
