Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4202: Far Too Late! I

Chapter 4202: Far Too Late! I

Malphas stood before Noah, a regal, obsidian figure against the radiant white-gold backdrop of the Shore, his bearing a perfect paradox of absolute power and absolute servitude.

"My Lord," he began, his cultured baritone a calm, steady note in the symphony of the Shore’s ambient power, "I will detail any pertinent memories that come to me and let you know. But since you are fighting against time itself, with a great many unknowns, I will get started in aiding you the best way that I can."

The words were spoken with a conviction so profound it seemed to etch itself into the very air.

Noah gave a light, almost imperceptible nod of assent, an acknowledgment that was all the permission Malphas needed.

Malphas closed his eyes. For a moment, he was perfectly still. Then, from the shadows his own form cast upon the golden sands, two more figures began to rise.

They were not summoned; they were born from the obsidian darkness of his being, a darkness thick and heavy with the screaming silence of a billion negative emotions...the inherited, recycled despair of THE Living Emotive!

Two perfect, identical copies of himself materialized, their crimson eyes opening in perfect synchrony. If any being were to underestimate them, to see them as mere clones, they would not even know how they died!

With a final, deep bow, the three figures of Malphas began to move. One body turned and shot towards the distant, archaic entrance to the Primordial Early Excavation Depths, its form a blur of focused intent.

His Master had only just begun to plumb its secrets; he would continue the work.

Another body simply vanished, flickering out of existence with a speed that left not even a ripple in reality. A second later...

WAP!

He reappeared at the edge of the Shore, but he was not alone!

In his hands, held like inescapable iron clamps, were the massive, grotesque corpses of two Dead Existences.

They were the very same beings that Khor had so casually crumpled and laid at Noah’s feet in the ruined Transcendent Origin Folds. Malphas had traveled across the Folds and back in less than a single second, a feat of dimensional traversal that would have left most Dukes bewildered!

He carried the corpses, each one a monument to a different flavor of ending, toward the Inevitability Ranch Sanctuary. The nine young Inevitabilities, still feasting on the last of the Mead, began to wriggle with a new, ravenous glee at the scent of such a profound meal.

Malphas looked at them, his expression stern, his own one quadrillion in Complexity and Purity erupting out in a wave of cold, commanding authority.

"Order," he said, his voice a sharp, cutting command that made even the chaotic natures of the young Inevitabilities pause.

They stilled their writhing, their innocent, stellar obsidian eyes fixing on him with a newfound respect.

They formed a line, a perfect, orderly queue of unfathomable hunger. Malphas nodded once, a gesture of approval. With a wave of his hand, a blade of pure, solidified darkness fell, methodically cutting up one of the corpse into nine equal, mountain-sized portions!

One by one, he distributed the pieces, ensuring a calm, structured feeding. As he did this, he waved his other hand towards the second corpse.

In the next moment, the entire colossal being crumbled into a swirling, obsidian mass of pure, concentrated authority, which he took and swallowed in a single, decisive gulp!

...!

His eyes flashed with a brilliant crimson radiance as his body began to emanate an even grander wave of power, before that body, too, vanished once more.

The original Malphas, who had remained standing before Noah this entire time, bowed once more. "My Lord," he said, his voice as calm and steady as if he had done nothing more than pour a cup of tea, "since I am your servant, I will take care of all the menial tasks for you. For this, you do not have to worry and can focus on other matters. I will give you progress reports every hour, if need be, of any major changes and accomplishments."

WAA!

As he spoke, his bowed figure saw a prompt of verdant, golden light rise before his eyes, its words for him and him alone.

|Your Lord senses the tremendous effort you are putting in. The Seed of the Principle of Perpetual Harvest supports you and will elevate all your actions completely. Your Master is looking fondly at your actions. Keep it up to become the best possible servant.|

Malphas saw this, and his crimson eyes flashed with a glorious, all-consuming ambition to serve!

For he was a servant!

And hus previous Master alone...was THE Living Emotive!

Far away, in the Transcendent Spirit Folds, the very concept of reality was a gentle, flowing thing.

Here, in an area filled with the weavings of white rivers of brilliance and pure spirituality, there was nothing but a serene, endless expanse of light. But at this moment, that peace was shattered.

A massive Tear opened, a jagged, necrotic wound in the pristine fabric of the spiritual plane. It was a violation, a scream of wrongness in a place that had only ever known a quiet hum!

While the Tears of Existence were blooming with alarming frequency in the Origin Folds, it did not mean they were occurring only there.

With less frequency, for now, they were beginning to appear across all the Folds.

What was unique about this particular tear was the region it had chosen to violate. This was the domain now under the quiet, pervasive influence of... The Great Usurper.

His consciousness was an invisible atmosphere, a cloud of pure awareness that other existences could not perceive.

At this moment, in the depths of that consciousness, prompts bloomed.

|A Tear of Existence, a rupture in The Veil, has occurred in the region of the Transcendent Spirit Folds currently under your influence.|

The Great Usurper’s idle, drifting thoughts sharpened into a stern, serious focus. In the next moment, he felt his own terrifying power tremble, as if the very presence of the tear was trying to forcefully dissipate his carefully maintained, scattered existence!
