Chapter 4546: Absolutely and Unequivocally! I
THE Living Existences were surreal beyond comprehension.
Legends that shaped reality itself through their mere presence.
So it was all the more ridiculous that at this moment, Noah found himself waking up on the thighs of THE Living Origin.
When he had first heard the stories of THE Living Origin from Moiraine and Sigrid as he delved into the Transcendent Folds while barely developing his Early Veiled Shore, these entities had seemed larger than life itself. Grand and untouchable, beings who had begun entire Civilizations and whose interactions with THE Creature had become the foundation of countless legends.
Now, experiencing this directly, all of those stories seemed to be mixtures of fabrication and modified truth. They had all known each other in The Infinite Unfurling!
So all the dramatic tales of THE Creature meeting THE Living Origin and Concept, of him going against impossible odds and Inevitabilities, of THE Living Paradox constructing elaborate scenarios where THE Creature eventually gave his Everythings to Existence...they all felt like variations mixing lies with fragments of truth.
He remained confident that THE Creature had genuinely given his Everythings to Existence as the legends claimed. But the actual story behind that sacrifice had to be entirely different from what was commonly believed.
Yet knowing all of this, and now physically lying on the lap of THE Living Origin herself, created a surreal disconnect.
Noah shook his head at the bizarre reality of it all as he sat up carefully. He felt his existence buzzing with profound fervor as in his mind, THE Organ of Civilization was developing at rapid pace.
THE Living Origin looked him over from head to toe as if he were some alien specimen she had never encountered before. Her white-gold eyes studied him with analytical intensity.
"The conviction of your Origin is Absolute?" she asked with a voice holding genuine curiosity.
At such a direct question, Noah did not immediately reply. Instead he looked around at their surroundings with careful observation.
They should be in the domain past the Outer Periphery now.
Prompts bloomed before his vision with locational information.
You have been transported to: THE Northern Unfurling Node of Existence of THE Creature - Second Ring (Intermediate Periphery)
Environmental Classification: Moderate Concentration Zone
THE Civilizational Authority Density: 347% higher than Outer Periphery
Ambient pressure will continue increasing the longer you remain, but an authority is currently offsetting the pressure.
After reading the prompts, Noah took in the visual details of this new region.
The environment was dramatically different from the Outer Periphery’s serene grasslands. Massive floating islands drifted in the distance, each one surrounded by potent waves of different Sovereignties that created visible distortions in space around them.
Everything else was surrounded by such intense, brilliant white light that very little could be clearly perceived unless one had attained at least THE Surface Depth of Absolute Sovereignty. The radiance was almost blinding in its purity.
The specific area where they currently resided offered slight respite from the overwhelming illumination. THE Living Origin was seated inside a small temple structure with nine white marble pillars rising elegantly around them. Rivers of liquid Origin authority flowed through channels carved into the floor, creating a network of glowing pathways.
Lumivara came quickly to Noah’s side with a profoundly relieved expression, clearly grateful he had awakened.
Only now did Noah speak, addressing THE Living Origin directly.
"What is your relationship to THE Creature?" he asked with calm directness.
THE Living Origin smiled with something resembling nostalgia and remained seated comfortably as she drew in a breath.
"Many entities across existence believe that knowing the Origin of all things will make everything clear and comprehensible," she said with measured contemplation. "But sometimes, understanding origins makes things much murkier and harder to truly understand. Knowing where something began does not always explain what it became."
She looked at him with ancient eyes.
"In this particular case, it is best not to know the Origin of certain relationships. But since you have passed the test with Absolute Conviction of your Origin, then The Sovereignty of Origin itself approves of your existence and purpose."
Her expression became more serious.
"If you need the power of THE, I can guide you toward achieving it. But any more direct help from me beyond guidance would actually hinder your development. Your Sovereignty should be elevating right now as you metabolize what you gained as you may even attain Pre-THE status imminently."
She paused with emphasis.
"But any more free assistance from me would stifle your Way and corrupt your Foundation. A Sovereignty needs to be forged from genuine struggle, not handed as a gift. Existence itself requires struggle to achieve meaning. You struggled to prove your conviction in that test. You would need to struggle for anything else of value."
She leaned forward slightly.
"Perhaps through that continued struggle, you will eventually find what you are truly looking for."
Noah’s eyes became sharp. THE Living Origin had gone on an extended tangent without actually answering his question about her relationship to THE Creature. But he decided not to press the issue.
Instead, he spoke with shining eyes.
"I may have already found what I am looking for," he said with quiet intensity.
THE Living Origin raised her brows with genuine curiosity at this claim.
"Oh?" she said with interest. "And what might that be?"
Noah nodded before explaining his insight.
"In that test of the Conviction of Origin, I learned that the unique space existed precisely in between Observable and Unobservable Existence," he said. "That it occupied the potential between what is observable and what is not. You... said Origin represents potential itself."
His eyes gleamed with realization.
"But even Origin can potentially be collapsed under the right circumstances. So if I could establish my domain or Civilization to exist in that same space between Observable and Unobservable Existence..."
Even Origin could potentially be collapsed, but something existing between Observable and Unobservable might transcend that vulnerability.
He spoke such words with dawning comprehension. The eyes of THE Living Origin flickered with recognition before she smiled.
"So you wish to design a domain to exist between Observable and Unobservable Existence," she said with calm assessment. "That would be something you could freely accomplish at THE Fundamental Depth of Absolute Sovereignty."
She paused to let that sink in.
"You would first have to surpass THE Surface Depth entirely, then advance through THE Intermediate Depth, before finally attaining Fundamental Depth. Do you genuinely think you can achieve all of that on whatever time you have set for yourself? It is an absolute solution, but I am sure there are others."
HUUM!
