Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4668: Sanity and Greatness!

Chapter 4668: Sanity and Greatness!

In the Early Veiled Shore of THE Infiniverse.

Alexander Asmodeus, The Peacemaker, stood while watching the emergence of Phonemes of The First Tongue far above him as they bloomed like celestial flowers across the blue-gold sky.

Osmont taught his people a language that nobody should be capable of grasping, and his people were shockingly grasping it.

Well, a very select few.

There was a Penguin that had begun getting hit by Osmont’s vibrant Goad after it seemed like the penguin was getting nowhere with its attempts at forming even the most basic Phoneme. The stick descended again and again with rhythmic precision, each strike accompanied by patient instruction that somehow made the violence seem educational.

But even that blue-gold stick in Osmont’s hands seemed to be hitting to infuse knowledge into the one being beaten as it seemed to be tough love of the most literal variety.

But either way...

It’s a ridiculous thing is what it is. Is The First Tongue so easy to learn? Who the hell is this Osmont? And THE First Hunger and THE Living Origin being here... hey, I told you to talk to Origin before, why don’t you just step up? She and I have a debt...

An incessant voice rang out in his head as it was an unfortunate byproduct of taking in the shattered part of THE Heart of Law into his existence. The voice of THE Living Law was now incessantly chirping whenever he chose to, which seemed to be constantly.

Alexander almost wanted to ask what he was supposed to be, he or she, as THE Living Existences and Law in particular seemed to take on whatever orientation suited them at any given moment.

Hey, don’t talk shit about me. You know I can hear your thoughts now, right? I didn’t expect my heart fully joining you would make the Tool I refined eons ago react this way. And now... look, you’re doing better than even them.

THE Living Law had their voice ring out in his mind as yes, something unexpected had happened when he declared his Way of Peace. The Enneagram had reacted heavily to the remnants of THE Living Law as it was transforming into something he didn’t recognize, something that pulsed with authority far beyond what it had held before.

But at this moment, new Gems began to appear on the Enneagram that represented every single Phoneme of The First Tongue that Osmont taught above. Every Phoneme was inscribed as Osmont taught it, being analyzed by the Enneagram in real time, and he would be able to seamlessly voice and write out all 18 Phonemes within the next few minutes without even having to go through the grueling process of learning them traditionally.

It was a ridiculous capability to imagine as The Enneagram essentially allowed him to copy and utilize what others spent eons trying to master.

Yeah, you really need to get a jump on it. As much as I adore that girl Seraphina, I need you to remove the other part of the Enneagram from her and fuse it together fully. Oh, and you can now sense remnants of my Collapsed Civilization, right? With the reaction of the Phonemes of The First Tongue and that, you grasping THE will now be easy as this Osmont really gave you a jumpstart. But you will need to get going. If The Fallout starts before you grasp those things... they will be gone forever.

...!

The incessant voice buzzed in his ears again as Alexander frowned at the implications of what THE Living Law was suggesting.

The remnants of THE Living Law’s Collapsed Civilization were scattered across Observable Existence, and if The Fallout consumed them before he could reach them, they would be lost forever along with whatever power and knowledge they contained. And the other part of The Enneagram that Seraphina carried needed to be reunited with his half to achieve its full potential.

He looked toward one of the nearby bodies of Osmont who was simultaneously teaching multiple groups of students with the efficiency of someone who had mastered the art of multitasking at an existential level. He thought about everything that was at stake and everything that could be gained if he moved now.

He looked at Seraphina and The Living Laws behind her, the manifestations of Law that had gathered in this Shore as refugees from a collapsing order, and he sighed as he called out to Osmont.

The Fallout neared, but he had to go out into danger rather than stay in this sanctuary that Osmont had built.

Don’t worry, I am confident in your survival now. After all, I am in the end THE Living Law. Before Paradox collapsed me, I used to dine with Origin and THE Creature. I know the players in this game, and I know what it takes to survive them. With my guidance and your Way of Peace, we will carve out a place in whatever Existence looks like after The Fallout.

...!

They used to dine with THE Creature and THE Living Origin, but why were they all doom and gloom days ago saying how it was such a shame, and if only Alexander had come across them earlier?

Kid, I didn’t count on an anomaly giving you lessons on The First Tongue or helping you do the impossible by getting a Shattered Heart. All of that accelerated everything to impossible degrees. Now, all you need to do is finish the rest as with this, my Civilization will also undergo emergence much quicker. You win, I win. Mutual benefit.

...!

THE Living Law remained incessant in his mind as Osmont arrived before him soon after.

The eyes of this terrifying anomaly alone were heavy to take, but Alexander took them on regardless as he began to talk!

Many people would take different paths across Existence as the apocalypse approached. Some would hide and hope to weather the storm. Some would fight and hope to overcome it. Some would flee and hope to outrun it.

At this moment, The Peacemaker was about to pioneer his own path, one that involved hunting down the remnants of a Collapsed Civilization while the very fabric of Observable Existence prepared to tear itself apart.

It was madness.

But then again, sanity had never been a prerequisite for greatness!
