Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4671: The Shore of THE Creature III

Chapter 4671: The Shore of THE Creature III

Existence was a mystery, but it was not necessarily a mystery that needed to be solved as much as it needed to be experienced.

Noah was experiencing it at this moment as he came across the glorious Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature, a place that defied his expectations in ways he hadn’t anticipated.

Days ago such a place would not even have been a possibility for him to think of, but the Weavings of Existence changed very rapidly as he now found himself staring at an endlessly vast Shore that stretched beyond even his enhanced perception.

It was a weird thing to see as it felt like someone who thought they were rich entering the home of someone that was truly rich.

Because The Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature was a ridiculous one as the surroundings alone permeated with liquid and plasmic concentrations of Civilizational Authority that made even his own Infiniverse seem modest in comparison.

The golden sands they stood on were filled with thousands of Logos of The First Tongue just in the immediate proximity where they currently stood, each one a perfect expression of meaning that would take others eons to forge.

There were massive tall trees in the distance all around them that spanned upward infinitely, their canopies disappearing into heights that seemed to have no ceiling. Even these trees were swirling with hundreds of Logos of The First Tongue woven into their very bark and leaves, as the entire place emanated an air of immensity and sacredness that pressed down on visitors like a gentle but undeniable weight.

And just by taking a glance at the immediate surroundings, Noah was able to affirm that yeah, this place would be surviving The Fallout without question.

Welcome to the Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature.

In this place, the concentration of Logos and Philology of The First Tongue is so dense that the study of The First Tongue progresses 1,000 times faster than anywhere else in Observable Existence.

Warning: Be careful of what you touch, as you could trigger dangerous mechanisms left behind by THE Creature.

...!

The entire place seemed wondrous as when they arrived, Sigrid stayed close to Noah while THE Living Origin seemed dazed for a moment, as if she had returned to someplace she never thought she would see again. Her golden eyes were distant, filled with memories that stretched back to eras when this Shore had been alive with activity and purpose.

Moments later, she began to take steps toward a certain direction and rapidly disappeared in that direction without a word of explanation.

Tor shook his head and said calmly, "I’ll keep an eye on her..." as he also disappeared after THE Living Origin, leaving Noah, Sigrid, and Anaximander standing on the golden sands.

In front of Noah, the figure of Anaximander took the stick of THE Creature as he began to draw a circle around them that shone brightly a moment later. Their figures were displaced vast distances across this Early Veiled Shore in an instant, traveling farther than light could travel in years.

They appeared in a region that held a golden cliff with a waterfall of golden sands filled with Logos flowing down toward a lower golden continent that stretched endlessly below. The sight was breathtaking in its impossible beauty, as even the falling sand seemed to sing with The First Tongue.

At the edge of the cliff, one could see a raised elevated stone-like platform that Anaximander began walking toward while carrying the stick with purposeful strides.

"The masses of Existence do not deserve to be unraveled and faced with immense anguish," Anaximander said with conviction as he approached the platform. "THE Creature left a few things in place, and at this moment I will use the remaining power of his Early Veiled Shore to draw in any forms of life across Observable Existence into this place. All Wheels of Existence, all Folds, every single form of life shall be contained in the Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature as at the time of The Fallout, this place shall serve as refuge."

He paused and looked back at Noah with those brilliant, curious eyes.

"The idea of distance and vastness does not truly apply to it as even with all of Observable Existence compressed into it, at most it would cover half of this space. And this is the main Shore of THE Creature, as I believe there are other parts of it that were shattered in his battle which are scattered across Observable Existence. It’s actually a very interesting place that THE Creature managed to cultivate. Most of his time was spent here from what he told me."

...!

The Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature was utterly insane to grasp as Noah wondered what he would be able to find here during his exploration.

He watched as Anaximander went toward the elevated golden stone-like platform and raised the stick of THE Creature in his hands. Shockingly, he plugged it into the platform as if it were a key fitting into a lock that had been waiting eons for this moment.

A moment later, the entire region they were in began to vibrate as auroras of colors began to shine brilliantly above them in patterns that seemed to tell stories in a language older than The First Tongue itself.

Noah looked up and saw a terrifying formation of Logos begin to flow across the golden sands of this place, and even more began to float across the skies as they looked like rivers of brilliance streaming in all directions.

The Logos he could see were related to movement and displacement. Logos of Gathering that pulled things toward a central point. Logos of Compression that made vast spaces fit into smaller ones. Logos of Protection that wrapped around everything being drawn in. Logos of Preservation that ensured nothing would be damaged in transit. All of them working in harmony to accomplish what Anaximander was doing in order to displace countless life forms across Existence into this place.

As such waves of brilliance began to radiate all around, in the far distance at least a gigaparsec away, Noah began to see thousands of Transcendent Wheels of Existence begin to manifest in the skies as if they were plucked out of wherever they were and brought here. In other directions, entire Folds began to manifest as the skies or the ground opened up and began extending in all directions to accommodate the incoming refugees.

Process Initiated: Existential Evacuation Protocol.

THE Creature’s contingency plan for catastrophic events has been activated.

All life forms across Observable Existence are being drawn into the Early Veiled Shore.

Estimated coverage: 100% of Observable Existence.

Estimated time to completion: Approximately 60 seconds.

This process will drain significant reserves of the Shore’s accumulated authority.

...!

As the process began, the figure of Anaximander continued to hold on to the stick as if it was a key that was directing everything. He looked toward Noah and Sigrid with a smile that held both exhaustion and satisfaction.

"This might take a little bit... well, maybe a minute or so to cover all of Observable Existence since I am going in a bit of a hurry due to not knowing when The Fallout will descend," he said. "But you guys can take the time to look around the home of THE Creature. I was amazed the first time that I got here and studied everything that I saw."

Noah nodded at these words.

"We’ll stay close by," he replied. "Let us know if you need anything."

After such words, Noah looked out to the vibrant expanse of The Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature, and he began to float up as one of the first things he saw was a vast and endlessly stretching wooden wall that seemed to be breaking down and decaying in places.

His eyes focused on it with sharp curiosity.

Structure Identified: The Veil of Existence.

Classification: Primordial Barrier.

Function: Separates The Lands of The Living and The Lands of The Dead.

History: THE Creature established this barrier with the help of Anaximander in an era before THE Loom was conceived.

Current Status: Worn down and breaking apart due to eons of attacks, strain, and the absence of THE Creature’s maintenance.

...!

Noah looked at this radiant wall that was breaking apart as he shook his head at the implications of what its deterioration meant.

At this time, Sigrid beside him sighed as she also observed the crumbling barrier.

"Even someone as powerful as this, who had a place like this, was not able to come out on top and win over conflicts eons ago," she said with a voice that held both wonder and melancholy. "And the biggest conflict for us, which we did not know whether we could survive or not, already had a solution right here. We were fighting with everything that we had to be able to survive The Fallout, when there was an answer that we could not access waiting in this place all along."

...!

Noah listened to her calmly as they moved rapidly across the Shore, and he took her hand into his as he considered her words carefully before responding.

"Sometimes a problem seems impossible, but there’s always an answer out there," he said with certainty. "Sometimes one just does not know how to access it. The solutions to surviving The Fallout could be countless, but one simply has to find the right answer among all of them. We found our own answer without needing to rely on another, and that matters more than you might think."

He paused as they continued moving through the golden landscape.

"Because relying on others can sometimes backfire," he continued. "If we simply sat back and held the hopes that THE Creature would save all of Observable Existence, we could all have perished. Who would have saved Anaximander if we hadn’t found him? No, relying on others is never ideal in Existence as the best possible solution is to rely on oneself. Rely on yourself and every success and failure will be your responsibility."

At such words, Sigrid smiled and hugged his hand closer to her as she looked up at him with eyes that held absolute devotion.

"I want to rely on you," she said softly. "Even if it is inadvisable to rely on others. Can I continue to put my life in your hands? If you succeed, I’ll be there with you. If you fail, I will shoulder that failure with you."

At such words, Noah turned to her and stroked her head gently with his free hand.

"Yeah, continue relying on me," he said with a confident smile. "I am pretty reliable so far."

After such words, Sigrid smiled brilliantly as their figures continued moving across The Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature, with Noah intent on exploring to see if he could find anything useful for the current him in this place.

They were doing all of this in the span of femtoseconds and nanoseconds as all around them in the vastness of the Shore that was gigaparsecs in size, Wheels of Existence and Folds began to bloom and appear. Entire regions of the Wandering Territories were being brought over into The Early Veiled Shore of THE Creature as the allure of Collapsed Civilizations also began to flow into this place.

When it did come to Collapsed Civilizations, history was not entirely clear on how the events had unfolded with all of THE Living Existences. The fates of THE Living Dimensional, THE Living Quantum, THE Living Concept, THE Living Spirit, or Temporal were unique and shrouded in mystery. Some were within THE Loom, some may have been collapsed entirely, and some may have found other fates that no one had recorded.

When the dust settled after The Fallout, everything would be clear.
