Chapter 4733: Harvests! II
These prompts rolled down as Noah’s figure burned with the glory of someone who had just consumed power that should have been beyond his reach!
His outline showed a muscular humanoid entity that looked like a celestial fiend given form and purpose, blue-gold flames billowing over his entire body as steam rose off of him with splendor.
His skin glinted like reinforced blue-gold crystal forged from the fires of The First Tongue itself, and his Foundation and Weight could be felt rising up gloriously as the harvest settled into his existence and became part of him!
Near him, THE Infiniverse burned with her own flames, her body wreathed in blue-gold fire made up of Phonemes of The First Tongue that danced across her bejeweled armor and made her seem less like a realm given consciousness and more like a fiend of expansion and consumption.
Khor floated nearby, her small form surrounded by radiant blue-gold flames of Mana and Hunger that elevated her Depth even as her abyssal eyes gleamed.
Sigrid, Ra’Zan, Riya, The First Farmer, and all others who had come to support him and fought against THE Living Spirit had radiant blue-gold flames surrounding them as their Depths elevated from the shared harvest of this impossible victory!
At such a time…
The massive blue-gold Monolith in the distance began to vibrate with intensity that drew attention from everyone present.
In the next moment, the environment of Muspelheim began to be pulled toward it even more rapidly, the obsidian flames and crystallized mountains and rivers of molten gold all flowing toward that gateway as if reality itself was being funneled through a drain!
Surtra, THE Esteemed Whisperer, looked toward this phenomenon with a frown that creased her ancient features, her sandy flames flickering with concern.
“Sir… what would the meaning of that Monolith be?”
She saw what it was doing, saw how it was consuming her home realm with accelerating hunger, and she had to ask even though part of her knew the answer.
Before Noah could even reply…
HUUUUM!
Neon-colored flames blazed from the distance with brilliance that cut through the obsidian fire of Muspelheim like a beacon of different power entirely!
Glorious auras bloomed soon after, and the figure of a radiant golden dog appeared with a unique small entity atop it, both of them moving with speed that defied their apparent Depths as they arrived before the assembled forces could even properly register their approach.
Galileo and Duke!
Duke’s golden fur gleamed with health and power even as neon flames danced across his coat, his muscular form radiating THE Intermediate Depth authority that seemed perfectly complementary to his rider.
Atop him sat Galileo, the small furry Muspeli Lifeform whose diminutive stature belied his Fundamental Depth power, his large ears twitching as he took in the aftermath of the battle and the impossible sight of THE Living Spirit’s essence still being absorbed into the blazing figure before him.
Their gazes settled on Noah.
In his glorious sensation of power and immensity, Noah had to blink at the new entrants just to make sure he was seeing right.
Was that a golden retriever Muspeli Lifeform and a fluffy humanoid hamster neon flaming Muspeli Lifeform?
The entities of existence seemed to truly have all sorts of forms as giants was not applicable to every single one of them, and these two proved that diversity extended even to the ancient guardians of The First Tongue.
They seemed to have arrived here as reinforcements, but they came rather late as the battle had already concluded in spectacular fashion. While the two sides gazed at each other across the burning skies of Muspelheim, the fluffy lifeform atop the dog spoke up first.
“I was sent here to ensure the safety of The One Who Laid The Claim, but my help does not seem to be required.”
His voice was surprisingly deep for his small frame, carrying waves that spoke of Phonemes mastered over eons.
“Surtra.”
He nodded toward the sandy-flamed Muspeli Lifeform who looked forward and nodded back with respect that spoke of long familiarity between them, as if these two had known each other for eons and trusted each other implicitly.
Galileo and Duke floated ever closer, the golden dog’s tail wagging with barely contained excitement as they came to hover a distance before Noah’s blazing form.
Galileo looked at Noah up and down with large eyes that sparkled with ancient intelligence, his whiskers twitching as he assessed the entity who had just devoured a legend.
“You’re a bit different than what I envisioned…a bit smaller, but I sense The First Tongue listening to you more than me in this region.”
His ears flicked forward with curiosity.
“I am Galileo, and I have been raising the Noble Mount of The One Who Laid The Claim. This here is Duke, a glorious product of The First Tongue! He is faster than any Fundamental Depth entity, his speed almost approaching Absolutes…”
He patted Duke’s golden fur with obvious pride.
“What does The One Who Laid The Claim call himself? And what might that ominous Monolith devouring everything about Muspelheim be?”
Galileo asked such questions calmly as Noah smiled at these new entrants while looking at the dog named Duke who had his tongue out, gazing at him with eyes of pure excitement as if he had been waiting his entire existence to meet this moment.
A Muspeli Lifeform whose speed approached Absolutes?
This in itself was a work of wonder!
But before addressing any of this, Noah completely devoured every glimmer of traces remaining of THE Living Spirit.
Then he floated toward a corner of the skies where an entity was trying to make themselves as small as possible.
Gal’Thûrak.
Uniquely, this was actually the last surviving member of the legion of THE Living Spirit, having survived when no others did through a combination of his master’s protection and his own desperate cowardice.
Noah went toward this being, his blazing form casting blue-gold light across the terrified demon spirit whose seven eyes darted frantically for any escape route that didn’t exist.
This Fundamental Depth entity with his lowered Depth, who had already kneeled to Noah and could express not even ten percent of his power, trembled as the flames approached.
Noah waved his hand toward the fearful Gal’Thûrak with casual authority.
A light flashed.
The entity disappeared.
There wasn’t even resistance or anything to worry about as THE Terror of Chains began to be processed in the prison inside of THE Organ of Civilization, his existence now fuel for Noah’s growing power rather than a threat to be concerned about.
As Noah did this, he replied to Galileo.
“I am THE Genesis Monarch of Infinite Lexicons. Genesis Monarch is fine.”
