Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 4743: Give and Take! III

Chapter 4743: Give and Take! III

Noah’s response came after a moment of deliberate control.

Rather than answering with words or foolish aggression, he waved his hand with calculated precision.

Two objects materialized before him.

The first was a Fragment that pulsed with chaotic energy barely contained within its crystalline structure. Patterns of mayhem and destruction swirled within its depths…THE Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem that Eon had lent him.

The second Fragment burned with different authority entirely. Where the first spoke of active destruction, this one whispered of gradual wearing, of persistent erosion, of patient victory through endurance…THE Fragment of THE Axiom of Attrition.

“A Fragment I obtained from THE Living Spirit,” Noah said calmly. “It’s yours if you make a move against THE Weaver.”

…!

THE Secretive Eon observed the offered Fragments with expression unchanged.

Then she yawned.

The gesture was small, delicate, and absolutely devastating in its dismissal.

Her hand reached out and casually reclaimed the Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem, the treasure she’d lent him returning to her possession with the inevitability of property recognizing its true owner.

She glanced at the remaining Fragment, the Axiom of Attrition that Noah had won through his defeat of THE Living Spirit.

Then she shook her head.

“Not enough.”

The words were delivered without negotiation, without room for counter-offer.

“Three more Fragments of similar quality, or something of genuinely equivalent value, might convince me to shift my plans and move against THE Weaver.” Her dark eyes met his with absolute finality. “Until then, focus your other body on retrieving my Disciple as previously agreed upon. That arrangement remains in effect regardless of whatever additional requests you wish to make.”

…!

Simulation continues…

Unable to leverage THE Secretive Eon for direct intervention.

Decision Point: Alternative approaches required.

Executing next branch…

You take the Fragment of THE Axiom of Attrition with you.

THE Secretive Eon has reclaimed THE Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem.

You depart THE Corrupted Vault of Ginnungagap.

Destination: The Wastes of THE Fallout.

Objective: Locate Lumivara and Ul’moreth.

Secondary Objective: Develop solution for confronting Absolute-class threat without external assistance.

…!

You manifest in the gray desolation of the Wastes.

The corrupted landscape stretches endlessly in all directions.

Ashen clouds swirl overhead, vibrant with energies that would destroy lesser beings.

The ground beneath your feet shifts with uncertainty, reality itself confused about its own configuration.

You begin conjuring your Absolute Existential Seals.

The 27 Seals of Absolute Tongue manifest around your form!

Each one pulses with concentrated weight, enhancing your perception, extending your reach, amplifying your authority.

You attune yourself as deeply as possible to The First Tongue.

The 18 Core Phonemes resonate within your existence.

Your 9 unique Phonemes pulse with readiness.

Through linguistic authority, you attempt to pierce the interference that blankets these Wastes.

Seeking any trace of Lumivara’s distinctive signature.

Seeking any echo of Ul’moreth’s ancient presence.

Progress: Minimal.

The Wastes actively resist such detection.

Corruption interferes with even The First Tongue’s authority.

You persist regardless.

…!

Simultaneously, you process the tactical reality of your situation.

THE Weaver operates at THE Absolute Depth.

This is not Half-Step classification like THE Living Spirit.

This is genuine Absolute authority. Categorical superiority over your current state.

Analysis of potential countermeasures:

The Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem could theoretically reduce an opponent’s effective Depth.

However, THE Secretive Eon has reclaimed that Fragment.

The Fragment of THE Axiom of Attrition remains in your possession.

Its authority involves gradual erosion, persistent wearing, patient victory through endurance.

Assessment: Insufficient against genuine Absolute in direct confrontation.

Further Analysis:

THE Living Spirit was a Half-Step Absolute. A pale shadow of true Absolutes. A trash bum cosplaying as something greater than he actually was.

THE Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem was effective against him because his foundation was incomplete. His Depth was not genuine. His claim to Absolute classification was hollow.

THE Weaver, THE Weavers, are different.

Genuine Absolute. Complete foundation. Real claim to THE Absolute Depth.

Even if you still possessed THE Fragment of THE Axiom of Mayhem, its effect would be minimal.

Reducing a genuine Absolute’s effective Depth by a fraction would still leave them categorically superior to your current state.

You require alternative solutions.

Solutions that do not rely on matching power with power.

Solutions that leverage your unique capabilities rather than attempting to bridge unbridgeable gaps.

Contemplation continues as you search the Wastes…

…!

The golden light of the Full Moirai Thread pulsed around Noah’s form as the simulation continued processing potential futures.

In Muspelheim, his physical body remained motionless. Blue-gold plasma still swirled around him like the corona of an angry star. The Muspeli Lifeforms watched with mixture of awe and concern, none daring to interrupt whatever profound process had claimed their unlikely ally’s attention.

Within the simulation, Noah’s consciousness grappled with the fundamental problem that had defined his entire existence since awakening to Infinite Mana.

How did one who hadn’t yet reached the apex stand against those who already resided there?

How did a Scale Breaker break scales that existed beyond his current reach?

It was a heavy question to ponder on at this moment!

But as Noah grappled with this, he also paid close attention to the workings of the Full Simulation itself.

Because it actually had many benefits!

He learned what would happen from small, simple things in these interactions. Like what happened if he shared news of his victory with Eon.

The answer was clear now.

He needed to not tell her about collapsing THE Living Spirit. The moment he did, she’d ask for her Fragment back.

He could keep that for as long as possible.

And the simulation… remained a simulation. Nothing that happened within it was real. He inherently did not offer his newly found Fragment of THE Axiom of Differentiated Tongue in actual Existence, but was there any harm in doing so in a simulation just to see if it could move Eon?

The answer was no!

His eyes shone brightly as he discovered a key point in these simulations!
