Chapter 5021: Euphoria II
THE Creature!
This was an entity of legends that Noah had begun hearing about when he first started mixing with Foldless Ones across Observable Existence. An entity that was literally a legend, a being from whom the Stories of The Earliest Folds were made, whose very existence had shaped the foundations of reality in ways that most current beings could not comprehend.
He always seemed so far out of reach.
Even when Noah talked with him not long ago in objective time, even when THE Creature had answered his questions and provided insights, that apex entity had felt distant. Untouchable.
And as much as this was THE Creature eons ago, this was still THE Creature.
A Primordial Architect who had shattered what he was to become something beyond classification entirely. Horus called him a Defector. Every being who mentioned him did so with weight that acknowledged his position at the apex of what currently existed.
And now Noah was flying toward him with fist raised and euphoria demanding release.
Generate. Generate. Generate!
His existence buzzed with excitement as boundless Quintessence Infiniforce generated within him, filling his foundations with density that continued expanding without apparent limit. He gathered it all into his hands, concentrating that multicolored internal authority into his fist as he shot upward with speed that pressed against the fabric of this era.
He threw out his punch, trying to release some of his euphoria through the purest expression of intent he could manage.
THE Creature looked down at Noah with shining eyes that burned behind those multicolored flames of Existence.
There was no anger in that gaze. No offense taken at being challenged. If anything, those burning eyes held something approaching curiosity, perhaps even amusement at being asked to spar.
THE Creature stretched his hand back, winding up his own strike with deliberate slowness that made the gesture feel ritualistic.
Then he threw out a fist filled with Existence itself.
HUUM!
Noah looked up as everything seemed to slow down around him.
That punch from THE Creature felt like the weight of all Existence. All Observable Existence contained in that glorious multicolored fist, compressed into an impact that would reshape whatever it touched. The authority behind that strike exceeded anything Noah had ever faced, somehow exceeding even the crushing presence of Beowulf’s Second Scale methodology.
How? How could that be possible? Here, THE Creature should be much weaker!
All of its weight was crushing onto him.
It was suffocating.
The pressure of that approaching fist made his finite existence scream warnings that his conscious mind acknowledged and then promptly ignored. Every instinct told him to flee, to dodge, to do anything except meet that strike head-on with his own power.
And yet he felt an unbelievable thrill coursing through his foundations.
His Quintessence Infiniforce roared and buzzed with intensity and confidence that approached the euphoria he had felt before almost causing a Miniature Cause. It generated boundlessly within him, responding to the challenge with eagerness that matched his own excitement. His finite existence was producing infinite force, and that force demanded expression against the most worthy opponent he could find.
He surged forward with fist blazing multicolored brilliance.
The two fists neared each other across distance that compressed into nothing!
And...!
"I told you not to cause Miniature Causes!"
The booming shout of Naldine Manthon echoed across existence from somewhere below, her Second Scale authority pressing against the scene with desperate intent. She had seen what was about to happen. She had recognized the convergence of forces that should not have been converging. She had tried to stop it!
But she was too late.
In the next moment, two fists met.
HUUM!
At the point of impact, an incandescent white light bloomed between Noah’s multicolored brilliance and THE Creature’s fist of Existence. The light was blinding in ways that transcended mere luminosity, pressing against perception itself with weight that exceeded what eyes were designed to process.
Below, THE Primordial Chaos turned his gaze away with expression of genuine shock, his chaotic authority instinctively shielding his awareness from the brilliance erupting above. THE Living Temporal’s past body flinched backward, purple rivers of time churning with agitation at something that should not have been possible at this Scale. THE Living Origin and THE First Hunger covered their eyes with hands that trembled despite their power.
Even the Ginnu Lifeforms who had already been struggling to comprehend events cried out in pain as that white light seared across their perception.
The light covered everything.
It expanded from the point of impact to encompass the skies above The Primordial Genesis Shore, washing over reality with brilliance that made the multicolored flames of THE Creature seem dim by comparison. For a single eternal instant, nothing existed except that white radiance.
And then Noah and THE Creature disappeared.
Simply gone.
The white light faded as quickly as it had bloomed, leaving behind skies that were suddenly empty of both combatants. No trace remained of the collision. No residual energy marked where two fists had met. They had simply ceased to exist in this moment, removed from this point in time by forces that the observers below could not comprehend.
"..."
THE Primordial Chaos stared at the empty sky with expression that had shifted from shock to something approaching genuine concern. His chaotic authority churned around him with agitation that showed even he did not understand what had just occurred.
THE Living Temporal’s past body looked upward with eyes that held awareness his future consciousness provided, understanding that this event had somehow always been part of the timeline while simultaneously being something unprecedented.
THE Living Origin lowered her hands from her eyes with expression of complete bewilderment and concern, her authority flickering with uncertainty that she rarely displayed.
The figure of Naldine Manthon stood among the chaos below, breathing slowly as if calming herself. Her hooded form was barely perceptible, her Civilization of Limitless Existence still working to minimize her presence in this era.
A moment later, she disappeared as well.
But all those who remained on The Primordial Genesis Shore had witnessed what occurred. They had seen THE Tongue Whisperer emerge from nowhere with multicolored brilliance that exceeded anything they had observed from him before. They had watched him challenge THE Creature to single combat. They had observed that apex entity accept the challenge and throw his own strike.
And they had seen both of them vanish in white light that seared itself into their memories.
The Tongue Whisperer had impacted with THE Creature.
And both of them had disappeared.
"..."
Who the fuck had won that impact?!
