Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5048: Hadean! IV

Chapter 5048: Hadean! IV

<Unknown Record>

Very few knew who THE Youngest actually was across Observable Existence.

They heard stories. Whispers passed between beings who had witnessed fragments of his journey or felt the tremors of his Causes rippling through regions they called home.

They knew of him as the anomalous entity who wielded Infinity, the impossible existence who conducted endless authority seamlessly. His name circulated through the conversations of Primordial Architects and Singular Cognizances alike.

Most had never met him. Most were still looking for him.

They searched through Primordial Realms and hidden domains, following traces of Infinity that led nowhere, hunting an entity who moved faster than their schemes could track. They wanted to study him, use him, break him down into components they could understand and replicate. They spent time planning for a confrontation they assumed would go in their favor.

Then he began to pull out his spear.

Many would intimately come to know THE Youngest after that moment. They would learn exactly who he was and what he could do. They would understand, with perfect clarity, why the stories had failed to capture the truth of what he represented.

Their understanding lasted nanoseconds before the darkness of collapse overcame them.

Pity the souls that ever faced the end of that spear. Pity them, mourn them, and forget them. Because nothing remained of those existences worth remembering.

---

Noah grasped THE Hadean Spear of Civilization in his hand as he floated down gently toward the golden sands.

The grains cradled his figure when he landed, settling around his feet as if welcoming him back to solid ground. He put his other hand on his chest and sensed the terrifying pressure of THE Hadean Organ of Civilization pulsing within, its presence now unmistakable in ways it hadn’t been before the transformation. The organ had gained new capabilities.

The prison within him had changed.

Civilizational Eons of Development would now be generated through THE Hadean Organ of Civilization. One had already passed during the initial transformation, accelerating everything within THE Hadean Desmoterion beyond what normal time dilation could achieve. He had one more available. And he could utilize it to have his imprisoned self within him take that step and become a Second Scale existence.

With existence being so vast and full of terrors, this wasn’t something he would ever deny.

"Utilize the Civilizational Eon of Development."

He spoke the command lightly, as if ordering a meal rather than triggering a transformation that would reshape part of his own existence.

HUUM!

Prompts bloomed before his vision immediately.

Command Accepted

The remaining Civilizational Eon of Development has been utilized.

THE Hadean Organ of Civilization is carrying out prolific, comprehensive, and quintessential advancement within THE Hadean Desmoterion. An entire eon will pass within the next ten seconds. Results will be displayed upon completion.

Time Remaining: 10 seconds

...!

Noah smiled brilliantly at the words.

Ten seconds out here. An entire eon in there. His other self would have lifetimes to accomplish what needed accomplishing while Noah barely had time to examine what he’d already gained.

He proceeded to grasp his spear properly and look at it while the seconds began to tick down.

The weapon felt light within his hands despite carrying the terrifying power of his Infiniverse’s Observable and Unobservable weavings multiplied by a factor of ten and then raised by an exponent of three.

The spear responded to his grip as if it weighed nothing at all. The crystalline shaft hummed against his palms, resonating with his heartbeat in ways that made him feel like the weapon had always been part of him.

He needed to get a feel for it.

Noah raised the spear above his head and swung it down once in a simple vertical arc.

The motion began slowly, almost lazily, the crystalline weapon cutting through air that suddenly felt thick with potential. As the spearhead descended, something emerged around the shaft that made Noah’s eyes widen with genuine surprise.

Two rivers of misty light began swirling around the weapon.

The first river was clear, almost invisible, perceptible only through the way it bent light around itself. It moved like smoke given purpose, coiling around the spear’s shaft in patterns that seemed to follow rules Noah couldn’t immediately identify.

This force felt cold in ways that had nothing to do with temperature, pressing against his awareness with the sensation of everything that existed beyond perception’s reach.

The Unobservable.

The second river blazed with golden luminosity that painted the Early Veiled Shore in hues of captured sunlight. It wound around the spear in configurations opposite to its clear counterpart, the two forces spiraling together without ever quite touching.

This force felt warm and present, the accumulated acknowledgment of everything that could be witnessed pressing outward with intensity that demanded recognition.

The Observable.

Both rivers danced around his descending spear as if existence itself had decided to manifest its fundamental division through his weapon. Clear and gold, hidden and seen, unknown and known, the two forces representing everything that Proterozoic Scale beings pulled into themselves to forge their transformations. He was watching the nature of Second Scale power made visible around a weapon that shouldn’t exist.

His seemingly simple swing stopped midway through its arc.

The rivers of clear and gold didn’t stop with it.

BOOM!

The force continued forward without the spear to guide it.

Utter devastation unfolded before Noah’s eyes as the golden sands in front of him split down the middle. A canyon carved itself into the Early Veiled Shore, reaching deeper than the sands should have extended, revealing layers of existence beneath that he’d never seen. The sacred waters of the shores ahead parted like curtains being drawn aside, liquid authority separating into two halves that continued moving apart as the force traveled beyond them.

Light years away, the shimmering barrier protecting the Early Veiled Shore from the rest of THE Infiniverse tore open!

The force of a single incomplete swing had crossed distances, ripping through protections designed to keep his farms safe from everything outside them. Beyond that barrier, Noah sensed the damage continuing, the rivers of Observable and Unobservable force pressing toward one of the Three Thousand Realms with momentum that showed no signs of stopping!

His expression went somber immediately.

Noah clenched his free hand and pulled, his will reaching out to grasp the escaping force and dissipate it before it could tear through an entire Realm he’d just created. The clear and golden rivers resisted for a moment, wanting to continue their path of destruction, before finally dissolving into harmless particles of light that scattered across the void.

"..."

He breathed out calmly and looked down at the terrifying weapon in his hand.

One swing. Not even a complete swing. Just the beginning of a vertical arc, stopped halfway through, and the resulting force had nearly destroyed a Realm while tearing across light years of distance. This was a catastrophe shaped like a spear, devastation given form that could be directed but would require extreme care to control!

As he was holding it, processing what had just happened, he began to feel something else.

His own body started emanating terrifying waves of power that pressed outward in pulses matching his heartbeat. His immensity, which he’d already thought was reaching unheard of heights, was rising even further. This change came from within, his Organ of Civilization pulsing with glory as something completed itself in THE Hadean Desmoterion.

The ten seconds had passed.

New prompts bloomed before his vision.

Civilizational Eon of Development: Complete

Progress Report: OZYMANDIAS

Phase One: Civilizational Anchor Establishment

Duration: First half of Civilizational Eon

Ozymandias utilized his profound foundation, refined across the previous Civilizational Eon of Development, to establish his Civilizational Anchor. The absolute self-knowledge required for this process was achieved through introspection spanning centuries of dilated time. Every aspect of his existence was examined, understood, and crystallized into certainty that could not be shaken.

Result: Civilizational Anchor successfully established. Ozymandias has grasped THE Proterozoic Scale of Existence. Your alternate self now exists at THE Second Scale.

Phase Two: Proterozoic Transformation Attempt

Duration: Latter half of Civilizational Eon

With the Civilizational Anchor established, Ozymandias utilized the remaining time to attempt the formation of a Proterozoic Organ or Bone. Materials available within THE Hadean Desmoterion, combined with the Observable and Unobservable weavings permeating THE Hadean Organ of Civilization, were employed in this process.

Result: In Progress. Transformation has begun.

Your other self seeks for you to experience the changes directly. Ozymandias requests that you send your gaze into the prison and experience the eon of development through the memories accumulated during the process.

A Civilizational Eon’s worth of experiences awaits your review.

...!

Noah smiled brilliantly as he felt the terrifying changes resonating through his existence.

Due to the dilated time governing his prison, he could peek into the memories of Ozymandias whenever he chose to. Every moment of that eon, every struggle and breakthrough and revelation his other self had experienced, all of it waited for him to observe. He now had a Civilizational Eon’s worth of memories to sift through at his leisure.

More importantly, he could feel just what had happened to his other self.

Ozymandias had taken the step forward.

A portion of his existence now operated at THE Proterozoic Scale, and it felt...immense!
