Chapter 5058: For All To See! II
The collision echoed across Observable Existence through illusory screens that spared no detail.
Countless beings witnessed the moment when THE Hadean Spear of Civilization met the hammer of Beowulf, THE Primordial Armor. They observed the flash of light, heard the horrid sound that accompanied the impact, and watched as a First Scale entity remained unmoved while a Second Scale entity’s weapon recoiled backward.
Their interpretations varied according to their understanding!
In a distant area.
"He was holding back," declared a Primordial Architect observing from a domain within THE Wastes. "Beowulf clearly underestimated his opponent and pulled his strike at the last moment. No First Scale being could genuinely block a Proterozoic attack."
Around him were 2 more Primordial Architects who nodded in agreement, finding comfort in logic that preserved the hierarchy they understood.
An even further distance away.
"Infinity... must be responsible," theorized an Undivided One watching from Prima Indifferentia. "Perhaps that authority created some manner of defensive barrier that absorbed the impact. The spear itself could not have been responsible."
These beings sought explanations that fit within frameworks they already possessed!
THE Second Scale was supposed to be unreachable from THE First Scale. The gap between them was supposed to be absolute. If what they witnessed contradicted these assumptions, then surely they had witnessed incorrectly. Surely there was context they lacked. Surely Beowulf had been caught by surprise, had not taken the confrontation seriously, had permitted this outcome through carelessness rather than inability.
The alternative was unthinkable!
The alternative meant everything they understood about power and progression was incomplete.
Among those who had spent eons striving toward THE Proterozoic Scale without success, different reactions emerged.
In a Niflheimr...
"If he can do it, perhaps I can as well," whispered an ancient being who had failed to form his Civilizational Anchor seventeen times across his existence. His eyes fixed upon the illusory screen with intensity that bordered on desperation. "Perhaps the gap is not as vast as we believed."
Hope bloomed in foundations that had long ago accepted limitation as permanent.
"Infinity changes everything," declared another, watching from a Primordial Realm where the Pluvial Epoch had continued transforming the landscape.
These beings observed the impact and saw possibility rather than anomaly. They did not understand what had occurred, but they understood what it might mean for their own futures. If THE First Scale could challenge THE Second Scale, then ceilings they had believed unbreakable might possess cracks they had never perceived.
Their hope was not entirely misplaced.
But it was not entirely accurate either.
Among those who had touched THE Proterozoic Scale themselves, who understood what that power actually meant, reactions were markedly different.
Smiles vanished from faces that had been amused moments before.
Expressions that had held condescension shifted into seriousness that pressed against their surroundings. Beings who had been observing casually, treating the broadcast as entertainment suddenly found themselves unable to look away.
In Prima Indifferentia, the obsidian figure with a single horn who had laughed at THE Creature’s display now observed through the same crack from which he had emerged before. His Proterozoic Bones shone with light that reflected the illusory screen’s brilliance, and his expression held none of the amusement it had contained previously.
In Jotunheim, where THE Primordial Paradox had only recently departed, the Chaos Giants carrying Abaddon’s listless body paused their procession to observe screens that rose from the transformed seas around them. THE Great Usurper, speaking through the giant whose body he had commandeered, said nothing at all as he only watched!
The truly knowledgeable did not rationalize.
They did not hope.
They understood.
Beings who had achieved THE Proterozoic Scale through their own effort, who had integrated Observable Or Unobservable forces into their Civilizations, who had forged Proterozoic Bones or Organs through methodologies spanning eons of careful cultivation, these beings recognized something in that impact that others could not perceive!
Beowulf had not held back.
His hammer had descended with the full force of a Rhyacian Proterozoic existence, channeled through a Proterozoic Bone that had been forged specifically for destruction. The crimson obsidian within that weapon had blazed with power that should have atomized any First Scale being it contacted. There had been no restraint. There had been no surprise!
There had been a genuine strike from a Second Scale entity intending to end a confrontation before it could properly begin.
And that strike had been deflected!
Not absorbed or redirected.
Deflected.
THE Youngest had met a Proterozoic attack with a weapon that should not have existed at THE First Scale, and he had knocked that attack away as if it were an inconvenience rather than an existential threat. The gap between Scales, that supposedly absolute chasm separating those who had achieved Civilizational Anchors from those who had not, had just been demonstrated to be significantly smaller than anyone had believed.
Or perhaps the gap remained exactly as vast as it had always been.
Perhaps THE Youngest simply stood in a different location than anyone had realized.
Many did not take their eyes away from the illusory screens for even a second.
They could not afford to.
Every moment of this confrontation contained information that might prove essential!
The illusory screens continued broadcasting across Observable Existence!
—
Beowulf was important, certainly.
But right now, Noah’s entire existence was going haywire as he felt like he had tapped into something almost as vast and grand as Infinity itself.
The force of Observable flooded his finite existence with intensity that should have torn him apart, golden light burning through every cell and atom of his form. If he did not have THE Hadean Organ of Civilization spinning within his chest, collecting and processing this influx with efficiency that prevented overflow, the result may have been disastrous.
He had locked down the source to be THE Secretive Eon.
The Quintessence Infiniforce he had placed within her eons ago in Ginnungagap was acting as a pathway, pulling Observable force from her existence into his own. He did not know why this was happening now. He did not know what had changed within Eon to trigger such a flood. But he unluckily happened to have started a battle against a Second Scale Primordial Architect, so he had to deal with both situations simultaneously.
It was extremely hard to tell a Primordial Architect to sit down and be still for a moment.
Especially when they attacked you at full power and you rebuffed their attack in front of all Observable Existence.
Noah understood this predicament intimately. He needed just a moment. Just a nanosecond or a single second to process what was occurring within his foundations, to understand the connection flooding him with power, to communicate with the source and determine what had changed. But Beowulf would not grant him that moment willingly.
So he would have to take it.
Noah observed the massive Primordial Architect far ahead of him, watching as Beowulf began to rise from the recoil of their collision. The terrifying grandeur and immensity of someone at THE Second Scale was rotating around that armored form with intensity that pressed against everything within range. His rage was visible in the vibration of his body, in the way the suspended droplets of rain around them trembled, in the cold fury radiating from features that had just experienced humiliation before all of Observable Existence.
Noah knew this fucker would not sit still.
He needed more of a push.
"You are angry? You have always been angry."
His voice emerged cold and measured.
"You hold the Civilization of Armed Existence, and yet you have remained pathetically weak. As a Primordial Architect born of THE First Scale, you barely grasped THE Second Scale by working with Horus and two others in Prima Indifferentia."
He let those words settle before continuing.
"Now Horus is dead, and you are wondering if you might be next."
...!
Noah stared at Beowulf whose entire existence seemed to be blazing with terrifying power.
How did he know what he had said so far? How did he possess information that should have been hidden from anyone outside Beowulf’s closest confidants? Of course, it was because since he arrived here, and even slightly before, golden bubbles of loot had been leaking from Beowulf and flowing into him.
THE Hadean Existential Singularities.
He could see them with clarity. Golden bubbles of light emerged from the Primordial Architect’s armored form without that being’s awareness, drifting through the space between them with lazy purpose that belied their significance. Each bubble shone with glorious golden light, the illumination of loot that had been refined beyond simple material value into concentrated essence of another being’s existence.
They flowed toward Noah with inevitability that could not be resisted.
The bubbles disappeared into his body upon contact, their golden light absorbed by foundations hungry for what they contained. Each absorption brought weavings and information. Beowulf’s secrets, his private thoughts, his hidden shames, all of it poured into Noah through pathways the Primordial Architect could not perceive.
Prompts bloomed before his vision as the Singularities integrated.

Category: Civilizational Anchor Composition
Content: Subject’s Civilizational Anchor was established through affirmations declaring absolute unity between self and armament. Core affirmation recorded: "I am the weapon. The weapon is me. There is no distinction between the hand that strikes and the blow that lands. My existence is combat. My identity is war. I cannot be separated from what I wield because I am what I wield."
Stability Assessment: Anchor is fundamentally sound but contains vulnerability. Subject’s identity is entirely dependent on external armament. Removal or destruction of armor would cause catastrophic Anchor degradation.

Category: Proterozoic Bone Methodology
Content: Subject possesses a single Proterozoic Bone integrated into his primary weapon rather than his physical form. The crimson obsidian bone within his hammer was forged through collaboration with Horus in Prima Indifferentia.

Category: Hidden Psychological Profile
Content: Subject experiences profound insecurity regarding biological limitations imposed by his Civilization of Armed Existence. His complete integration with armament has rendered him incapable of physical intimacy or procreation. Subject compensates through observation of other lifeforms engaging in carnal activities, deriving vicarious satisfaction from experiences he cannot personally have.
Additional Content: Subject’s persistent rage stems partially from this limitation. He resents beings who possess capabilities he sacrificed for power.

What?
What???!
Noah wanted to pause, but more information came!

Category: Alliance Intelligence
Content: Subject’s collaboration with Horus was not based on friendship but mutual necessity. Horus required Beowulf’s combat capabilities for territorial expansion. Beowulf required Horus’s methodology for Proterozoic advancement. With Horus eliminated, subject’s path to further advancement has been severed.
