Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5086: My Pulse! I

Chapter 5086: My Pulse! I

Days had passed in the infinite perceptive moment.

Noah hadn’t come across any viable solution for grasping THE Silurian Light through traditional means, but he’d obtained a great deal of information from Naldine across those stretched spans. She’d explained the intricacies of THE Wyld, the nature of THE Deliverance and others like him, the factions that divided Primordial Architects into camps that had been warring since before most current beings learned to crawl.

She’d demonstrated the Modus Operandi of three different Pulses until he could recite the verbal components from memory even if he couldn’t perceive what they were meant to touch.

She wasn’t so bad after having talked to her for so long.

He’d even gotten her to agree to simply experiment with his Infinity if and when the ordeal of Grimvault was passed successfully. She’d been reluctant, citing concerns about THE Gamaidjan enveloping her existence, but curiosity had eventually won out over caution. Primordial Architects were, at their core, beings who pursued advancement above safety.

At this time, Noah was thinking about Temporal Traversal.

Just how far back could he take it? He’d played with time before, had bent its rules in ways that should have been impossible for someone of his classification. Could he take it far enough to witness THE First Cause that birthed their Observable Existence? If he could perceive that moment of ignition, that instant when nothing became something, maybe then he could pull a Pulse from it directly.

Touch the source, perceive everything it created.

But as he was thinking this, Naldine’s voice drifted across the perception-space.

She sat on a cloud of blue gold light, her form settled into meditation posture despite the fact that cultivation was impossible within expanded perception. Her singularity-dotted eyes remained closed as she spoke.

"Your life is an astonishingly short one in the grand scheme of things."

Her voice held no mockery, only statement of fact.

"I want to say that based on your origins, a normal human female with no authority caused your emergence, yes? Look at you now."

She opened her eyes, those blue dots floating within pure white regarding him with something like academic interest.

"You are a case study in existence. Some would benefit from understanding your lowly emergence, your lowly Cause."

Noah was listening faintly, his mind still churning through possibilities involving Temporal Traversal and First Causes and methodologies that might bypass traditional requirements. He was just about to nod in absent acknowledgment when he blinked.

HUUM!

His existence began to buzz!

Then he rose up straight and looked at her.

"What did you just say?"

Naldine blinked as if she hadn’t said anything of significance.

"I was just talking about your emergence. How it can be considered a lowly Cause that others can benefit fro-"

HUUM!

The perception-space began to buzz.

Noah’s eyes shone brightly, golden light bleeding from them in configurations that pressed against the stretched moment itself. Something was happening within his awareness, connections forming between concepts that had seemed unrelated moments before!

Then he laughed.

The sound boomed across the perception-space with genuine delight, the kind of laughter that emerged from sudden understanding!

"A Pulse of The Scales emerges from witnessing a Cause and pulling its power."

His voice rang out as he began pacing through the air, Observable force condensing beneath his feet with each step.

"A Cause is grand because of what it gives way to. A Cause gives way to Observable Existence!"

He spun to face Naldine, his smile widening into something that held madness and brilliance in equal measure.

"And yet, my very emergence was a Cause! My birth was a Cause, and with it, it led to me, it led to Infinity, it led to..."

He raised one hand, golden light blazing around his fingers.

"A Seed of Observable Existence!"

BOOM!

The perception-space trembled at his declaration.

"From me alone, even though I haven’t yet allowed for the blooming of Observable Existence, I have aided in the forging of a Seed! My emergence... isn’t lowly at all!"

His laughter echoed again.

"My emergence is grand!"

Naldine rose from her meditation posture in astonishment, her singularity-dotted eyes wide as she processed what he was claiming!

She wanted to ask what the fuck he was talking about. His birth as a Cause? How could that possibly compare to THE First Cause of Observable Existence? The scale wasn’t even remotely similar!

But she couldn’t say anything.

Because at this time, Noah felt like he was in a trance. He thought about many things and nothing all at once, his mind buzzing with glorious waves of epiphanies cascading one into another. The logic was flowing now, connections he’d never considered before illuminating pathways that traditional methodology couldn’t perceive.

"What determines the grandeur of a Cause?"

His voice emerged as question and answer simultaneously.

"What it produces! THE Silurian Cause is considered grand because it produced Observable Existences, realities spanning scopes that most minds can’t comprehend!"

He spread his arms wide.

"But my emergence produced ME! My birth led to someone who touched Infinity and didn’t break! My Cause led to someone who forged THE Hadean Organ of Civilization, who transformed a small landmass into THE Infiniverse, who created a Seed capable of blooming into its own Observable Existence!"

The perception-space shook harder as his voice rose.

"Who is to say that the power of my Cause would be any lesser when it led to accomplishments like these? THE Silurian Cause produced Observable Existence, yes! But my Cause produced someone capable of becoming Observable Existence! My Cause produced someone who could break time itself if he chose!"

Epiphany Detected.

You are attempting to conceptualize personal emergence as First Cause equivalent.

Unprecedented. No recorded instance of such interpretation exists as results of this approach cannot be predicted.

Noah ignored the system prompt entirely.

"My birth was a Cause unlike any other! MY birth! MY Cause!"

...!

His golden eyes blazed with light that pressed against the boundaries of their expanded perception.

"And from MY Cause, I will observe it and design MY own Pulse of The Scales! Because across my emergence, I have also...played with fire."

...!
