Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 5203: A Terrifying Advancement!

Chapter 5203: A Terrifying Advancement!

Something had shifted in how the air felt.

Since arriving in THE Braneworld Observable Existence, Noah had been aware of a subtle resistance in the ambient Infinity here, the specific quality of a medium that had not been calibrated for his kind of power. Not debilitating. Just present. A constant low-level friction between what he was and what this place expected its inhabitants to be.

The Infinite Existential Empowerment dissolved that friction entirely.

The surging river of connection between him and Ubergulden Adelheid blazed with visible luminescence, and through that river the Infinity of THE Braneworld stopped resisting him and started flowing toward him the way it flowed toward beings who belonged here.

He breathed easier. He perceived farther. The flows of information that Infinity touched in the surrounding space began returning feedback to him with the generosity of a medium that had just decided to cooperate.

Pillow Talk was already working. The passive capability of his Absolute Luxuria Ego had been pulling ambient information since he arrived, but with the resistance gone it operated at a different level entirely. The weavings of information in the surrounding space were not merely available...they were streaming toward him as if existence itself had decided that his current objectives merited its full disclosure.

The secrets, the knowledge, the carefully hoarded truths of this elevated domain.

They simply flowed.

Existence speaks:

The three beings designated Sororis Prima carry engineering that exceeds standard Ordovician Paleozoic classification. Silurian Paleozoic proximity confirmed for all three. Their foundations are actively pulling from THE Cognitio Cause, the Prime Cause governing knowledge and comprehension. They do not merely wield derived Civilizations anchored in learning. They have incorporated partial Cognitio Cause authority into their existences.

Sororis Prima Evangelina: Civilizational Access: approximately 31%. The highest of the three.

Sororis Prima Konstanze: Civilizational Access: approximately 27%.

Sororis Prima Mathilde: Civilizational Access: approximately 25%.

All three exceed the 25% threshold required for Prime Cause Incorporation attempts. All three have succeeded where most Gilded Ones fail.

Additional observation: The vessel you currently occupy is a sovereign domain of the Ubergulden House, registered as exempt from standard Magna Sorora surveillance protocols. Conversations within it carry no external record...

Noah’s eyes were bright as he processed all of it and focused on Evangelina.

The most capable of the three. Thirty-one percent Civilizational Access!

Evangelina looked at him directly as she spoke, though her words covered the room.

"The connection between a Gilded One and their Custodes is unique. After they have been with one another for eons, they develop such a strong sense of trust that their existences can resonate to form an even grander bond, allowing power to be shared between the two seamlessly while both are empowered from it."

Her mandala-eyes rotated slowly.

"A Primaris Bond. Even I do not have such a bond with my own Custodes." A brief pause that carried neither self-pity nor complaint, only assessment.

"I was worried about a weak, lust-filled Gilded One being your Custodes. But it seems that even still, you are not entirely without instinct. This arrangement works for now."

Her gaze shifted.

"Dietrich. You and your sister need to get ready."

Dietrich’s frown arrived immediately, his pupilless golden eyes moving from Evangelina to Noah.

"We still need to understand everything about him. What he has been doing these past eons, what his intentions are, how this bond actually formed-"

"We have already taken care of all of it."

Evangelina’s voice did not rise. It simply closed the subject.

"Need I remind you that we do not have time? If we lose this opportunity, THE Relictus will find out about our advancements and everything will be closed off once more. Every delay is a door shutting."

...!

Noah’s eyes shone at the mention of THE Relictus as he thought of someone.

THE Creature. Was he still running? Had he managed to escape the Gilded pursuit, or had THE Gilded Ones closed the distance? He turned the question over briefly and filed it, because the more immediate thread was the one Evangelina kept pulling toward.

An opportunity that THE Relictus would close off if they detected the advancement.

He had not looked at Ubergulden Adelheid as a source of access to anything this significant. She had been a battery. A connection. A bridge into the Braneworld. Useful, genuinely useful, but useful in the way that a key was useful: for getting through a door rather than for what the door contained.

It seemed there was considerably more door than he had calculated.

He did not turn around. He kept his gaze forward on Evangelina and spoke quietly through the river of connection that continued to buzz between him and Adelheid, his voice arriving in her consciousness through the same channels her Observable Force arrived in his.

’It seems there were a lot of things you didn’t tell me. I would have acclimated much better and done things considerably faster.’

He felt her attention shift toward the visible river between them. He was keeping it active deliberately because the Infinite Existential Empowerment required her proximity and and he had no interest in Dietrich’s hand finding his throat again.

Her reply came calm and measured through the connection.

’I have also been gone for a long time. I only know a little more than you do. But this is not something you should look at as an opportunity. Multiple Gilded Ones have already died from this. Ones with far more preparation and far more power than you currently possess. You are not even a Gilded One. Envision what might happen to you if the same thing that killed them happens to you.’

She was trying to scare him off.

It was having the opposite effect!

He kept his expression neutral as Evangelina’s voice rolled out again, stronger now.

"For countless eons beyond counting, THE Primordial Source has remained outside our grasp. But we have made tremendous advancements in recent times." Her mandala-eyes held both him and Adelheid in their rotating geometry.

"Some unique Royal Gilded Ones are capable of accessing a place that cannot be entered with ordinary weavings of Existence. Your body, your power, your Civilization... to enter that place, much of this is left behind. Purified. Only your Soul, surrounded by your Ego and your Observable Force and your Infinity, makes it through. We believe it is because of the boundless purity of THE Primordial Source in that place. The more we are able to send there, the more that survive, the more we can grasp its secrets."

She held steady.

"You, and other Royal Gilded Ones and their Custodes, will be sent in the next round. This is a race to access THE Primordial Source before THE Relictus detect our advancements and close the approach once more. But it is also a race against every other Royal House of the Gilded."

Something shifted behind her clinical composure!

"I am a Sororis Prima of THE Magna Sorora. But I have never forgotten that I am Ubergulden. Our lineage cannot fall behind."
