The interior of the Organ was warm with the Infinity currently rebuilding Noah’s Primus Apeiron form, multicolored currents flowing in slow steady patterns through the space around his dissolving and reforming weavings. Ruination’s crimson-blue illusory figure stood at the periphery of the rebuilding.

Noah’s awareness oriented toward her without his form having completed its reconstruction.

Noah looked at the three singularities floating in the warm Infinity of the Organ, each one carrying its distinct quality, the Ego Amalgam’s golden-crimson warmth, the Sovereign Observable Organ’s dense golden shimmer, and the Causal Comprehension Record’s layered translucence that shifted between colors depending on which Cause’s residue was nearest to its surface.

He smiled as his hand rose out and he gently patted Ruination’s head.

The singularities flowed began dissolving into him one by one, and Noah sat in the warmth of the Organ and felt the shape of the next engagement with Ragnar already changing in the hands of a being who was becoming, with each passing second, slightly harder to rip apart.

The Cognitio Dreamstone received him differently than the Bellum stone had.

THE Bellum Cause had arrived like recognition, the specific comprehension of a being meeting the name for something they had always done.

THE Cognitio Cause arrived like doors opening inward, one behind another, each one revealing a space that contained another door, the experience of a Cause that did not deliver its truth as a single statement but as an architecture of understanding that expanded the further one walked into it.

Noah walked into it.

The vision...produced the two Relictus again.

The same glacial form he had seen through THE Bellum Dreamstone, its crystal plates catching and refracting the cold light of the snowy mountain, its body large and settled and operating in the specific rhythm of something that had been fighting long enough that fighting was simply its resting state.

The nine-headed serpentine being opposite it, its platinum crowns burning above each of the nine heads with the specific fire of something that had been lit so long ago that the lighting event was no longer part of its memory, only the burning itself.

They were fighting again.

But something was different!

They were losing.

Not to each other. To something he could not initially locate, a pressure that existed in the vision’s atmosphere as weight rather than as visible force, pressing down on both Relictus simultaneously from a direction that had no visible source.

The glacial Relictus’s crystal plates were cracking along lines they had not carried in the prior vision. The nine-headed one was missing two of its platinum crowns, the remaining seven burning at reduced intensity, the fire in them struggling against the same atmospheric pressure rather than expressing freely!
