Walker Of The Worlds

Chapter 3553: The Fox Scion World

Chapter 3553: The Fox Scion World

Within moments, several of the staff hurried towards Lin Mu’s group.

One of the men, clearly a supervisor judging by his robe and badge, bowed politely before speaking.

"Honored guests," he said carefully seeing their clothing and the aura they exuded. "May we ask where you arrived from?"

Lin Mu returned the courtesy with a slight nod.

"The Fifteen Ryze World."

The supervisor blinked.

"The... Fifteen Ryze World?"

Lin Mu continued calmly.

"We used what you might call an express teleportation service."

The staff exchanged confused glances.

"Express?" another formation master muttered.

The supervisor coughed lightly.

"I see. Normally arrivals from other worlds are scheduled and communicated ahead of time. This... appears to have bypassed the usual procedure."

Lin Mu simply shrugged slightly.

"Circumstances were urgent."

The man did not press further. Those that could afford an express service were not simple people. He gestured toward a nearby desk where several jade slips were waiting.

"Then we will need to complete standard arrival documentation."

Lin Mu nodded and stepped forward to comply.

While the formalities began, Lin Mu quietly observed the surroundings.

All of the staff were human.

That was mildly surprising.

From what he had heard about the Fox Scion World, it was not humans who held the highest authority. The dominant power structure belonged to the Fox Beastkin tribes, who ruled much of the world through noble clans and royal houses.

Human kingdoms existed here, but they were considered secondary powers.

Seeing only humans in the teleportation hall meant one of two things.

Either the array itself was located within a human governed territory.

Or the beastkin simply allowed humans to manage infrastructure.

Lin Mu leaned slightly toward Daoist Chu.

"We’re probably inside a human kingdom," he murmured.

Daoist Chu nodded faintly.

"That seems likely."

Just as the registration process was beginning, the sound of footsteps echoed from the hall’s entrance.

Not ordinary footsteps.

Disciplined ones.

CLANG.

CLANG.

CLANG.

Armored guards marched into the hall in perfect formation. Their armor was polished steel with faintly engraved patterns, and each carried a long spear topped with a shining blade.

They moved with military precision.

The formation masters immediately straightened.

The guards split into two lines facing inward, forming a corridor through the center of the hall.

Clearly, someone important was arriving.

A few seconds later, two figures stepped between the lines of soldiers.

They walked calmly, their robes flowing gracefully with each step.

The clothing immediately stood out.

Elegant white and soft pink fabrics layered together in intricate patterns. The robes shimmered slightly under the hall’s lighting, suggesting they were crafted from high quality immortal silk.

But the most striking feature was not their clothing.

It was their ears.

Two fluffy fox ears rose from the top of each of their heads.

Soft, snow white fur that twitched faintly with subtle movement.

And behind them, partially concealed by their robes, Lin Mu noticed their tails.

Long.

Furry.

Graceful.

Fox tails.

Fox Beastkin.

The one walking ahead appeared to be a young man.

His face was handsome in an almost ethereal way, with narrow golden eyes and smooth pale skin. His white hair flowed down his back like silk.

Behind him walked a young woman.

She looked slightly younger, her expression calm but curious. Her pink tinged robes complemented the faint rosy hue of her fox ears.

Lin Mu immediately examined their cultivation.

The man.

Third Tribulation Stage of the Immortal Realm.

The woman.

Second Tribulation Stage.

Not particularly powerful by Lin Mu’s standards.

But for a smaller cultivation world, it was respectable strength.

Combined with their refined aura and noble bearing, their identity was not difficult to guess.

"Royalty." Lin Mu reckoned.

Or at the very least, high ranking nobles among the Fox Beastkin.

The teleportation hall supervisor hurried forward and bowed deeply.

"My Lord. My Lady."

He kept his head lowered respectfully.

"We did not expect your presence today."

The fox man waved a hand casually.

"I heard a report about an unscheduled inter-world arrival," he said. His voice was calm but carried natural authority. "Visitors are rare enough already. Visitors who appear without notice are even rarer."

He glanced toward Lin Mu’s group.

"I happened to be nearby, so I came to take a look."

The fox woman behind him had not spoken yet.

Instead, her gaze slowly moved across Lin Mu’s group.

Lin Mu.

Daoist Chu.

Cattaleya.

Elyon.

Meng Bai.

Her eyes lingered on each of them for a moment.

Then she stepped forward slightly.

She tilted her head to the side.

Her fox ears twitched.

Then she spoke in a soft voice.

"...Strong."

The single word echoed lightly across the hall.

The fox man paused.

He glanced back at her.

Then his eyes slowly narrowed.

Because he knew something most people in the hall did not.

The young woman beside him was not simply a noble.

She possessed an extremely rare bloodline talent among the Fox Beastkin.

She could sense strength.

And she had just declared that the newcomers standing before them were... strong.

Very strong.

The fox man’s interest grew noticeably after hearing his sister’s remark.

At first, his gaze had merely been curious. Visitors from other worlds were rare enough that anyone arriving through the inter-world teleportation array warranted at least a glance. But now his eyes sharpened as he began to truly examine the group standing before him.

They were an unusual collection.

His eyes first fell upon the most obvious presence among them.

Cattaleya.

She stood nearly two meters tall, her physique powerful and imposing. Even standing still, the density of her muscles and the quiet pressure in the air around her made it clear she was no ordinary cultivator.

The fox man’s ears twitched slightly.

Strong.

Even without relying on scent, he could tell that much instantly.

Then his attention shifted to the beastkin in the group.

Two pointed ears.

A long tail.

The scent of wild forests and blood.

’A wolfkin,’ he thought.

Specifically, a wolf beastkin. The fox man’s nose twitched as he analyzed the scent more carefully. There were subtle differences among wolfkin tribes, but he could at least identify the general lineage.
