Chapter 3682: All Three Cores Completed!

Chapter 3682: All Three Cores Completed!

Each phase required careful control, as the Fire element carried a more volatile nature compared to earth and metal. The energy surged more aggressively, demanding constant regulation to prevent instability.

Two months passed.

By the end of that period, Lin Mu had reached the familiar threshold.

Ninety nine percent.

He opened his eyes and looked at what remained.

There was only a single item left.

A vial containing a dark red fluid.

The liquid seemed almost alive, its surface shifting subtly as if it carried an inner flame. Lin Mu could sense its potency immediately. It was undoubtedly a high tier material, perhaps even among the strongest he had encountered.

Yet something felt off.

It might not be enough.

Lin Mu considered his options.

He could ask the dwarves for more materials. Given their resources, it would not be difficult for them to provide something suitable.

But he hesitated.

Then a different idea formed in his mind.

Without another word, Lin Mu stood.

He did not return to the chests.

Instead, he walked out of the junkyard and moved toward the edge of Mantleheim.

Before anyone could question him, he leaped.

The elder who had been overseeing his cultivation was caught off guard. He rushed forward, only to witness Lin Mu plunge directly down the massive lava fall.

For a moment, there was silence.

Then concern.

But the elder did not act.

He had watched Lin Mu for months. There was no recklessness in his actions. Whatever he was doing, it was deliberate.

Below, Lin Mu descended into the lava sea.

The heat enveloped him instantly, yet he did not resist it. Instead, he embraced it. The Fire element surged around him in overwhelming abundance, far beyond anything contained within the materials he had been using.

He activated his technique.

The lava responded.

Streams of molten energy were drawn toward him, their essence separating from the physical mass and flowing into his body. The process was intense, far more demanding than anything he had done before.

Days passed.

The surface of the lava sea remained turbulent, but nothing extraordinary occurred.

Until the third day.

The entire sea began to tremble.

RUMBLE

Waves of molten rock surged upward, gathering into a massive column. The energy within it churned violently, as if something deep below was forcing its way out.

Then it erupted.

WHOOSH

A towering pillar of lava rose into the air.

At its peak stood Lin Mu.

His body radiated heat, his aura blazing with intensity.

Within him, the Fire core had completed its transformation.

It burned steadily, no longer wild or unstable, but refined and controlled.

Lin Mu stood atop the pillar, his expression calm.

The final core was complete!

Lin Mu hovered silently above the vast lava sea, the towering pillar beneath him still churning with residual force from his breakthrough. The molten column slowly began to calm, its violent ascent easing into a steady glow, yet Lin Mu himself remained suspended in the air, unmoving and deeply focused.

His attention was entirely inward.

The Fire core within his heart spun rapidly, its motion far more vigorous than any of the others. Each rotation drove a powerful pulse through his chest, and with every pulse, his heart beat with tremendous force.

DHAM DHAM DHAM

The rhythm was relentless, steady and overwhelming, as if a dam that had restrained a great river for years had suddenly shattered. Now that river surged forward without resistance, carrying with it immense vitality.

He could feel the change spreading through his entire body.

His blood flowed faster than ever before, coursing through his veins with a strength that bordered on ferocity. Every part of him felt alive, energized to a degree he had never experienced. It was not simply a matter of increased strength. It was deeper than that. It was the sensation of life itself being amplified, refined, and pushed to a higher state.

The effects were immediate.

His natural healing improved drastically. Minor strains that would once take time to recover now faded almost instantly. His body repaired itself with an efficiency that felt almost unnatural.

Even the deeper reserves of vitality within him had been stirred, becoming more responsive and more resilient.

At the same time, his affinity for fire underwent a fundamental transformation.

What had once been an acquired affinity, something cultivated through effort and experience, now felt innate. It was no longer something external that he had learned to control. It had become part of his very existence.

The sensation was overwhelming.

Lin Mu could feel every trace of fire energy within Mantleheim. Every stream of lava, every flicker of flame, every subtle heat signature within the vast underground kingdom became clear to him. It was as if the entire domain of fire had opened itself to his perception.

For a brief moment, a thought surfaced.

If he wished, he could command it all.

With a single gesture, he could stir the lava seas into violent upheaval, cause eruptions that would tear through the land, and reduce everything around him to ruin. The power was there, waiting to be used.

But Lin Mu did nothing.

He remained still, letting the feeling pass.

Within a few seconds, the overwhelming surge faded, settling into a controlled and stable state. The connection did not disappear, but it became something he could manage rather than something that threatened to overwhelm him.

He closed his eyes and continued meditating.

Now that he had completed four cores, the internal structure of his cultivation had changed significantly. The Earth, Water, Metal, and Fire cores all resonated with one another, forming an elemental cycle that continuously supported and reinforced his body.

The flow of energy between them was smooth, almost instinctive.

Earth nourished Metal.

Metal supported Water.

Water balanced Fire.

Fire returned strength to Earth.

It was not a perfect cycle yet.

The absence of a fully completed Wood core created a slight imbalance, a missing link that prevented the cycle from reaching its full potential. Even so, the improvement was undeniable. The synergy between the four cores elevated his entire being to a new level.
