Chapter 3690: Abilities Of The All Melt Furnace

Chapter 3690: Abilities Of The All Melt Furnace

The abilities of the All Melt Furnace revealed themselves without effort.

And along with them, the Dao Skill it contained.

"Refine." Lin Mu murmured softly.

The name was simple... Deceptively simple.

Yet the moment he examined it, he understood its depth.

Refine was not limited to a single function. It was a concept, a process that could be applied in countless ways. It could purify materials, break down complex structures into their core components, remove impurities from energy, and even reshape substances at a fundamental level.

In forging, its value was immeasurable.

It was the ability to take something imperfect and bring it closer to its ideal state.

Lin Mu could already envision its applications.

Weapons, materials, pills, formations. Even Qi itself could potentially be refined, elevated, or stabilized through its use. The more he thought about it, the more intricate it became. And yet, despite its complexity, it remained grounded in that single word.

Refine.

Lin Mu exhaled slowly, allowing the understanding to settle within him.

At that moment, the dwarf elders approached.

Their heavy steps echoed faintly across the Dao Forge realm as they drew closer, their expressions filled with anticipation.

"Did you manage it?" one of them asked.

Lin Mu turned toward them and nodded.

"Yes."

He raised his hand.

With a simple motion, he summoned the Dao Embryo.

A Dao Shell formed instantly, manifesting around the All Melt Furnace.

The shell appeared as a translucent structure, its surface faintly etched with patterns of fire that shifted continuously. Within it, the miniature furnace floated steadily, its internal flames glowing with a contained brilliance.

Though it was small in size, its presence was immense.

The elders’ eyes widened slightly as they observed it.

There was no mistaking it.

The All Melt Furnace had truly been formed.

"Good... very good," one of them said, a satisfied grin spreading across his face.

"Excellent," another added, nodding in approval.

Their voices carried a rare tone of genuine praise.

Lin Mu dispelled the Dao Embryo, allowing the furnace to return to his dantian. The moment it vanished, the surrounding temperature seemed to drop slightly, as if the realm itself had been influenced by its presence.

He then looked at the elders.

"How long was I in there?" he asked.

The elders exchanged brief glances before answering.

"Eleven months."

Lin Mu blinked once.

He had expected a much longer period.

In the illusion, time had felt stretched, distorted to such an extent that he had assumed years might have passed. The fact that it had only been eleven months was... surprising.

"Not that long," he said quietly.

The elders chuckled faintly.

"Perception within the Dao Forge is rarely accurate," one of them explained. "What feels like years may be moments, and what feels like moments may span months."

Lin Mu nodded, accepting the explanation.

He could still feel the lingering effects of that distorted perception.

The Fireforge elder then stepped forward slightly.

"You should not rush the next step," he said. "Become familiar with the All Melt Furnace first. Understand it fully before attempting to form the Metal Dao Embryo."

Lin Mu inclined his head.

"I understand."

He did not argue.

He knew the importance of stability.

Forming a Dao Embryo was not simply about acquiring it. It was about integrating it into one’s cultivation, ensuring that it functioned harmoniously with everything else. Without that, even the strongest Dao Embryo could become a liability.

Lin Mu moved a short distance away and sat down once more.

He closed his eyes.

This time, there was no illusion, no trial.

Only comprehension.

He began by observing the All Melt Furnace within his dantian. He traced the flow of its energy, studied how it interacted with his fire core, and examined the way its Dao Traces aligned with his existing understanding.

He activated the Dao Skill.

Refine.

A subtle shift occurred.

The furnace responded immediately, its internal flames intensifying slightly. Lin Mu directed its power inward, applying it to his own Qi. The result was immediate. The Qi became smoother, more stable, its impurities reduced.

He then extended its application outward.

Small fragments of residual energy within the Dao Forge realm were drawn in and processed. They were broken down, purified, and released in a more refined state.

Lin Mu continued experimenting.

He tested different aspects of the skill, exploring its limits and capabilities. Each attempt revealed new nuances, new possibilities that he had not initially considered.

Days passed.

Then weeks.

Time flowed steadily as Lin Mu immersed himself in understanding.

The elders did not disturb him.

They observed from a distance, occasionally discussing among themselves, but they allowed him the space he needed.

Gradually, Lin Mu’s control improved.

The All Melt Furnace became more responsive, its integration with his cultivation deepening. The initial sense of novelty faded, replaced by familiarity. It became an extension of him, something he could rely on instinctively.

By the end of the first month, Lin Mu opened his eyes once more.

The glow within them had settled, becoming calmer, more controlled.

He stood up.

This time, there was no uncertainty in his movements.

He had adapted.

The Fire Dao Embryo was no longer something new.

It was his.

Lin Mu did not waste time once he had fully stabilized his connection with the All Melt Furnace. The familiarity he had gained over the past month gave him confidence, but it did not make him careless.

He knew very well that what he had just gone through would repeat itself, perhaps in an even more complicated manner. The Fire Dao had tested his patience and discernment. The Metal Dao would test something else.

He looked toward the dwarf elders and gave a simple nod.

"I am ready."

The elders did not ask further questions.

They had already seen enough to trust his judgment. With a series of coordinated gestures, they activated the Dao Forge once more. The runes responded immediately, their light intensifying as they began to gather around Lin Mu again.

The process was the same as before, yet it felt different.
