Her voice trailed off as she turned to look at Fan Lin. "How are Qin Xin and Feifei? I heard you mention their condition wasn’t good earlier. Are they awake now?"

"Qin Xin is awake, but Feifei remains unconscious," Fan Lin replied.

"Take me to see them!" she gestured.

Hearing this, Fan Lin paused. "Master, won’t you rest? Your condition..."

"It’s fine." She cut him off with a wave of her hand, then instructed Shadow One and Gray Wolf, "You two stay here. I’ll be back shortly."

"Yes." The two responded. After watching her leave with Fan Lin, they hesitated for a moment before pushing open the door to check on their Master.

The protective barrier still shrouded the room. Their Master lay sleeping peacefully on the bed, all traces of her aura now completely withdrawn.

Seeing the grave expressions on Guan Xilin and the others who had followed him in, Du Fan said, "Hell’s Lord is fine now. Our Master said he’ll wake soon. Everyone, please don’t worry too much."

"That’s true," Guan Xilin replied, his brow furrowing slightly. "But that black lotus is still within him. Who knows what will happen when he awakens?"

The others fell silent, none speaking for a moment. After lingering in the room for a while, they exited.

Meanwhile, Feng Jiu arrived at a side room in the guest quarters. Qin Xin lay asleep in the inner chamber. Hearing the sound, she opened her eyes. Upon seeing Feng Jiu, she struggled to sit up.

"Master."

"Stay lying down." Feng Jiu approached, gesturing for her not to move, then sat down beside the bed.

"Master, I never thought I’d see you again. I’m truly overjoyed." Qin Xin smiled, her heart racing with excitement. This surge of emotion tugged at her internal injuries, causing cold sweat to bead on her forehead and her face to grow even paler.

Feng Jiu smiled. "I promised I’d return. I just didn’t expect it would be years before we met again." She guided Qin Xin’s hand to the bedside. "Let me take your pulse to assess the severity of your injuries."

Her fingers touched Qinxin’s pulse, examining her condition. After a moment, she withdrew her hand. "The injuries are indeed severe. Your internal organs have sustained significant damage."

"Master, do not worry. I have already taken the medicinal pill. With proper rest and recuperation, I shall recover." She spoke softly, then added, "As for Feifei... I heard from Fan Lin that she still hasn’t regained consciousness."

"Yes, I know. I’ll go check on her shortly." She glanced at Fan Lin, who stood waiting nearby, and instructed, "Help her sit up. I’ll tend to her injuries."

"Yes, my lady." Fan Lin responded, stepping forward to lift Qin Xin from the bed, supporting her so she leaned against him.

Seeing this, Feng Jiu glanced at him and said with a smile, "You may step out now. I need to remove her clothes to treat her."

Hearing this, Fan Lin adjusted Qin Xin’s position before asking, "Master, should I ask Leng Shuang to come in and assist?"

"No need," Feng Jiu replied.

"Understood. I’ll wait outside then. Call me if you require anything, Master." Fan Lin glanced at Qin Xin one last time before stepping out.

After she left, Feng Jiu sat behind Qin Xin, supporting her with one hand while removing her inner garments with the other. She left Qin Xin sitting there clad only in her undershirt, saying, "How are things with Fan Lin? It’s been several years now, hasn’t it? When do you plan to marry? I can arrange it for you."
