After instructing Fan Lin to prepare the medicinal bath, she was so engrossed in her work that it was already late into the night.

"Master, please drink this soup first!" Leng Shuang entered carrying a bowl of steaming broth. "After drinking the soup, take a hot bath and rest early. We’ll keep watch over Hell’s Lord here."

Feng Jiu smiled. "Alright." Exhausted after a long day, she couldn’t eat much else. After drinking the bowl of stewed soup, she took a hot bath as Leng Shuang arranged.

Feng Jiu usually bathed without assistance, but seeing how late it was and how she kept rubbing her neck, Leng Shuang stayed behind.

"Master, allow me to massage your shoulders."

Feng Jiu leaned back in the tub. Hearing this, she didn’t ask Leng Shuang to leave. Instead, she closed her eyes and responded lazily, "Hmm."

The comfortable pressure of the massage relaxed her entire body. Combined with the soothing warmth of the water, she felt a wave of bliss wash over her. Still leaning back with her eyes closed, she murmured lazily, " Leng Shuang, I had no idea you knew such techniques. That feels so good."

Hearing this, a faint smile touched Leng Shuang’s lips. "I learned it from Qin Xin. She said this technique helps people relax and loosens the muscles. With you away these past years, I didn’t have much to do, so I picked up a few things from her."

"Master, have you been well in the Upper Immortal Realm? We’ve had no news of you these years and have missed you dearly."

"Nowhere is truly peaceful. Even when I ascended, the Four Great Emperors of the Upper Immortal Realm sought to kill me. But I intended to deal with them after my ascension. They’ve kept their distance these years, with no activity or news. One of those Emperors, however, I did kill, and I’ve taken over the territory he once ruled."

Feng Jiu spoke slowly and deliberately, adding, "All these years in the Upper Immortal Realm, though Mo Chen was also an immortal there, we rarely met. My thoughts were always with you in the Lower Immortal Realm. Breaking through this void barrier took me years."

At this point, she smiled, opening her eyes. A radiant glow shimmered within them as she continued, "I descended directly from my immortal island. I doubt anyone knew. They certainly never imagined I could return."

Her voice paused briefly as she turned slightly toward Leng Shuang and asked with a smile, "Leng Shuang, would you like to go to the Upper Immortal Realm?"

Leng Shuang paused, looking at her and replied, "I only wish to serve by my master’s side. The Upper Immortal Realm and the Lower Immortal Realm are the same to me. Wherever my master is, that is where Leng Shuang wishes to be."

Hearing this, Feng Jiu chuckled softly. "You’ve been by my side all these years. Now that I’ve ascended, I won’t forget you. Having broken through that void barrier and found a way to connect, I can certainly take you all to the Upper Immortal Realm."

She smiled, leaning against the water tub. "But before we leave, we must reorganize matters here first."

Seeing her deep in thought, Leng Shuang said no more, merely helping her soak. When the water grew cold, she suggested, "Master, the water has cooled. You should rest now."
