“Right, right!” Yue’er’s eyes lit up. She came to his side, took the object he handed her, and smiled so broadly her eyes crinkled into slits.

“I never thought it would actually exist.” She glanced at the other trees, wondering, if this one had it beneath it, what about the others?

Seeing her expression, Xiao Junyan knew she wanted to know. He immediately helped push down all the trees. However, some had this emerald-green substance at their roots, while others beneath them did not.

“Could this be tree crystals?” Shen Shiqi stared at the objects in astonishment.

“You destroyed those tree spirits, but I found these. I won’t take advantage of you—how about we split them?” Yue’er smiled brightly at him.

Shen Shiqi chuckled, waving his hand. “Alright, you keep them! These things are rare, but they’re useless to me. Besides, refining them isn’t easy.”

“Thank you then.” Yue’er didn’t refuse. She couldn’t refine them either, but her Mother could. Once she collected enough, she’d have her Mother help refine them.

After gathering together, the three decided to explore the area. Walking in the middle, Yue’er said to Shen Shiqi, “Why is it so eerie in here? I feel the danger level isn’t low! You have no idea—we even encountered man-eating plants on our way in. You really can’t let your guard down for a second.”

“That’s absolutely true. I never imagined the danger level here would be this high. I thought that even if no one had ever set foot here before, it would just be a secret realm. But now it seems every step is fraught with peril.”

Shen Shiqi glanced at her and added, “We must remain vigilant. If we encounter a crisis we can’t overcome, don’t hesitate—leaving this secret realm immediately is the best course of action.”

“Yes, I know,” Yue’er nodded.

“Some others have perished, while others likely left already. But I suspect Chen Tao and the others are still inside. I want to find them first.” Shen Shiqi spoke, his gaze sweeping the surroundings as his divine sense spread out, constantly monitoring the area.

“But this place is so vast. How will we find them?” Yue’er asked, looking at him. “Send a signal?”

Xiao Junyan glanced at Shen Shiqi, replying, “That’s a good idea.”

Seeing this, Shen Shiqi smiled. “That’s exactly what I was thinking. Perfect timing—we can find a place to rest our legs.”

So the three sought out a relatively safe spot to rest. Meanwhile, Shen Shiqi sent three signals skyward in quick succession.

Deep within the forest, some distance away, Chen Tao and his group spotted the signals from different directions. Their eyes lit up, and they immediately set off toward the beacons.

Other members still within the secret realm also saw the signals and aimed to join them. However, on their way to the beacon locations, some perished in the realm’s forests, while many others crushed their teleportation jade tablets to escape the secret realm…

As night fell, by the campfire, Yue’er played with two pearls gleaming with a faint green light, fastened to her waist. These pearls had appeared on her body after last night, and she had no idea where they came from. With some free time tonight, she kept holding and examining the two pearls. They seemed like spirit pearls, yet the light they emitted felt oddly peculiar. Somehow, it reminded her of last night’s dream.
