Chapter 6377 Dark Emissary

The footsteps came too quickly. Soon, Long Chen saw a monstrosity emerge—a being with the upper body of a man and the lower body of a spider.

Unless the Dark Master and all eight emissaries are destroyed at once, the black spider will never truly die. Think of them as the Dark Master’s split bodies. Each great emissary has inherited one of his strongest divine abilities. Do not be careless. If things turn dire, retreat. I don’t feel like we have any chance in front of him.”

The Earth Cauldron’s warning stunned Long Chen. Its last words, however, only made him grit his teeth. Who was he? He, Long Chen, had never even feared the Dark Master, let alone one of his lackeys.

At this time, that monster stepped forward, and without a word, thrust his spear forward.

However, just as he was about to counter, the monster’s whole body blazed with golden light that sealed every path of escape. The blast struck and sent Long Chen flying.

“Fuck you!” Long Chen cursed furiously.

He knew this monster only consisted of a strand of divine will, yet he couldn’t even overcome that.

Before Long Chen could rise, that monster struck the ground with his spear. Black qi surged outward, swallowing the world in devastation. The heavens themselves seemed ready to collapse.

There was no dodging. No openings. Even Long Chen felt despair.

The only way to counter such a move was to shatter a single point of it and throw it into disarray. But in his current state, Long Chen could not even break a fragment of it.

“Is it really a failure?” Long Chen muttered, his voice trembling with unwillingness.
