“Get out of the way!” Lu Ze’s hair stood on end. A terrifying instinct gripped him, and he turned around to flee.

With a very light sound, that green light passed over all of them. None had time to dodge. Strangely, all they felt was a warm current sliding through their bodies and then nothing.

“Hmph, just an act. You won’t scare us!” scoffed one nine star heir, launching another attack at the barrier.

Lu Ze also sensed no change in himself or his men. Snorting, he struck the barrier again.

Xia Chen had constructed this barrier. But upon the green parrot’s arrival, the barrier’s power seemed to have merged with it. At the Earth Cauldron’s command, Xia Chen had surrendered its control to the green parrot entirely.
