Jin Xiao glared at him before hesitantly turning to Moran. Moments before, he had been shocked when she’d made use of the divine wonders of the Yugong wonderians that had been defeated some time ago. It was such a terrifying ability that completely went against his understanding of wonderians! But someone that terrifying obediently stood beside Tianming as if he was their leader.

It can't be.... When Jin Xiao thought of the possibility, he felt completely distraught. No, impossible! How could a goddess like her be willing to... share... a single man with other people?! Impossible!

Di Tang shook his head and refused to believe something that deviated so much from his existing worldview. Xeno fatigue was simply too terrifying for something like that to be real!

No matter how powerful a specter or orderly in the Ancient Oldgod Domain was, cosmic gods or not, being afflicted with xeno fatigue was a nightmare that would only end in death. It instantly started crippling one to the point of no recovery, no matter how powerful. That was the reason they believed it was the side effect of the Sea of Order's blessing, the sole curse of the heavenly favored!

"Goddess, are you saying that this little friend here helped you get over grade-ten xeno fatigue before you... got together?" Jin Xiao asked. "It’d make him the only precious thing in all of the Ancient Oldgod Domain. Both we and the orderlies would treat him like a treasure," Jin Xiao said.

"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Di Tang also knew the implications, but he simply couldn't accept it.

"If the old matriarch can be treated, she'll live for at least another thousand years!"

"Let's pray for it!"

Soon, they reached somewhere deep underground where the eyes of heaven could barely illuminate. The entire place was starved of xeno source. Orderlies weren't willing to come to places like that at all—not even to wipe out the specters, which was why they took refuge there.

"Do you pity them?"

She shook her head. "We aren’t, strictly speaking, part of the same race. There’s no blood ties between us, so I find it hard to dive into troubled waters for their sake, but...."

"But?"

"But I feel like this battlefield is more suitable for me than any other."

"That's right! So, can you become the queen bee of the Ancient Oldgod Domain?"

Zi Zhen rolled her eyes. "The only 'bee' I see here is you, you tiny little thing."
