Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4365 - Imperator Ming

Chapter 4365 - Imperator Ming

Wudi burst into loud laughter. This move of his was learned straight from Ying Huo!

“Brothers, go for the ass!”

Roused by Wudi’s crude yet heroic shout, the flameyellow army surged with towering battle intent. The sword stabbed straight into the rear of the massive hammer!

Entangled by the Flameyellow Guard Formation and flameyellow imperial fiends, the heavy hammer had no way to turn around to face this latest threat. The battlefield was simply too vast, and most were unable to see the full picture at all.

And so, when the ashuras finally saw the colossal sword descending from above, their vision went black. They could only look out for themselves, scattering in panic!

“Spread out! Now!” At this moment, the vanguard army could be said to have suffered few deaths, but it had completely lost its cohesion.

The radiant sword pierced downward once more, utterly shredding the massive hammer. Violent divine abilities, totemic calamities, and the crushing charges of lifebound beast whistled past, pulverizing countless bodies.

And thus, the flameyellow divinities boldly proclaimed their return to the entire universe!

They forced the Eightpart Pantheons to recall, deep within their bloodlines, the terror once imposed by the dualgod bloodline!

Cosmic-god essences began materializing nonstop. With their formation broken, the enemy’s defensive strength plummeted, and casualties skyrocketed. This region of the Flameyellow Guard Formation seemed to transform into a multicolored purgatory. It was dazzling to behold, yet filled with endless screams.

But was it over?

Of course not!

“Beat them while they're down!”

To the vanguard army, the might of the Flameyellow Guard Formation was like a boundless ocean. It was equivalent to at least another five billion flameyellow cosmic gods joining the fight, if not more!

Under the control of Wudi and the five imperial-star elders, the radiant sword turned once more. Every flameyellow warrior focused solely on riding their mount forward. Whether they struck an enemy or not didn’t matter; maintaining formation and committing to the charge was what truly mattered.

Kill if you can!

If you can’t... just keep charging and keep scattering them!

Even killing a wildbeast made the charge worthwhile. They would keep going until this hammer was broken beyond repair.

The radiant sword’s turns grew ever more fluid with experience.

Truth be told, during the period when Tianming had gone to the Realm of Chaos, the five imperial-star elders and Wudi had not been idle. They knew a defensive war was inevitable and had rehearsed these charges again and again within the Flameyellow Guard Formation.

Long Qian had shown Tianming himself this cavalry charge back in the Middlekin Star Ruins.

It truly was unique in the entire universe.

The Sundown Pantheon had their cosmic crest beasts, but they themselves were too weak.

The Starfall Pantheon only had totems.

The specters were solitary combatants, so they lacked the overwhelming momentum.

As for the ashuras, they were even worse. They had beast waves, but they themselves were the weak point.

The wonderians were formidable, bearing their own personal indestructible formations... but unfortunately, they weren’t here. Without the wonderians, there was no shield to stop the flameyellow cavalry.

After ten full passes, the vanguard army had been completely carved apart and suffered devastating losses. Meanwhile, as ashuras were killed, crippled, or cut off by distance, vast hordes of wildbeasts fell into madness, beginning to attack indiscriminately.

“These ashuras may intimidate others, but in front of us Flameyellow... they’re nothing but bungling clowns!”

Tianming alone had already exploited this weakness of theirs to annihilate multiple ashura forces. And today, they still dared to lead the charge to the Imperial Star?

“Keep charging! Keep killing! Kill them until they’re all dead!”

“Don’t get bogged down. Charge! Keep moving!”

With victory seemingly in hand, Wudi commanded passionately at the top of his lungs. Yet, there was no smug grin of triumph on his face as worry still weighed on his heart...

Firstly, this was only the vanguard army. Speed had been their priority and their preparations were indeed incomplete.

Secondly... the Eightpart Pantheons still held an overwhelming advantage in peak combatants. And Wudi himself was their prime target.

“They’re here!”

Just as the Flameyellow heavy cavalry prepared for another charge, Wudi suddenly looked up toward the heavens. A ghastly white vortex had formed there, and a gaunt figure shrouded in death energy crawled out of it like a corpse rising from the grave.

The entire battlefield plunged into a deathly hellscape. Gloomy winds blew, covering half of the Flameyellow Guard Formation.

It was a towering figure, one hundred thousand meters tall. His entire body was pale-white, wrapped tightly in white bandages from head to toe. His eye snapped open, revealing a single ashen eye eight thousand meters in diameter.

The bandages across his body also split apart to reveal openings each containing a dull gray eye. There were ninety-seven eyes in total, covering his entire body! Every one of those eyes stared at Wudi, directing a suffocating aura of death upon the red-haired man.

“I didn’t expect this...” The giant swept his gaze across the battlefield, surprise flickering through every eyeball. Clearly, even he hadn’t expected that the flameyellow divinities alone could inflict such losses on a ten-billion-strong army.

“Imperator Ming!!!” The vanguard army sensed his power, and the pent-up frustration in their hearts finally boiled over.

Wudi silently stared back at him.

The pressure of death was unimaginable, and the expressions of the five imperial-star elders changed drastically. They had lived for countless years in the Ancestral World, but none of them had ever reached the same pinnacle as Imperator Ming.

“An imperator has already arrived with the vanguard...”

This was very bad.

Even so, Wudi directly turned the Flameyellow Coffin and charged straight at Imperator Ming, roaring fiercely, “You lot keep going. I’m gonna peel off his bandages and reveal his ugly mug!”
