Chapter 4370 - Two Imperatores

Chapter 4370 - Two Imperatores

"Negotiate?" Imperator Ming's many eyes wiggled up and down, looking at the forty-nine undying aeternal chieftains. Some of its eyes were also looking at the battlefield where the defeated ten billion troops of the vanguard army were. This was the reality of the situation he was in.

If he didn't do something about it, the defeated army would proceed to be slaughtered or captured, greatly harming the five pantheons' might! This would make them much weaker compared to the devas and wonderians, something that they didn't want to come to pass. The fact that they had dared to fight in the first place was that they believed they would be able to conquer the imperial star rapidly, yet it turned out completely differently.

"Sure. How do you want to negotiate?" Imperator Ming stopped moving and turned to talk to Tianminsg calmly.

Tianming was just about to speak when his expression changed. "Trying to buy time, I see?"

"What do you mean?" Imperator Ming said with a shrug.

"You're not the only imperator that came to my imperial star today!"

The area that the Flameyellow Guard Formation spanned was quite large, so the enemy believed that Tianming would have a hard time tracking all of them down. But with there being Yin Chens all over the Sun, there was no way they wouldn't notice a powerful giant that was more than a hundred thousand meters in height.

The appearance of yet another imperator from the five pantheons could allow them to break through any defenses with sudden force and momentum! The imperator wasn't alone either, accompanied by more than thirty primocosmic gods who were fifty thousand meters in height. They spread out in four directions and were trying to infiltrate the Sun. They really pulled out all the stops in their attempted invasion. It hadn't even been a few days since they emerged from the passageway!

"Looks like you have eyes everywhere," Imperator Ming said, not bothering to hide it. "You were incomparably weak compared to the Eightpart Pantheons in the first place. You were only lucky enough to get a chance because of the Primordial Sands. Now that the pathway has opened, the heavens have issued the decree for the Flameyellow's extermination. Stop struggling and accept your loss. Accept reality. This attack is only the first of many by the Eightpart Pantheons. An even bigger force is coming towards your fallen imperial star. There is nothing but doom waiting for you."

He wasn't joking in the slightest. Even after Tianming dealt with the ten billion vanguard troops, the Eightpart Pantheons had far more to send over! The elite strike force that was trying to infiltrate the Sun would also be able to cause great damage if they reached the Sky Palace Formation. As they were talking, a number of them had made it through the astralguard formation.

"I heard that your family and friends are there. Wait for the good news. Your imperial star is far too large and you wouldn't be able to guard every side of it," Imperator Ming coldly said. He knew the primocosmic god that was near the Sky Palace Formation. His destructive capabilities were unstoppable.

"Is that so?" Tianming didn't panic, much to the imperator's surprise. He looked at the ten billion troops whose lives Li Wudi grasped in his hands and said, "There are always exceptions. Don't be overconfident now."

The ninety-seven eyes of Imperator Ming narrowed as he began to laugh. He didn't mind this pointless conversation since he needed to buy time anyway. Eventually, his transmission stone rang.

"There's nobody down there! Anyone important has been transported away by that nine-headed-dragon ship. The rest of the cosmic-god combatants have also spread out!" This news made Imperator Ming's laughter quiet down. It was already shameless enough that the Eightpart Pantheon's imperatores had to resort to an underhanded method like that, and even then, Tianming was already ready for it.

"Do you know why I was prepared for it? From the very beginning, every single thing that the Eightpart Pantheons did was shameless. As expected of former slaves of Flameyellow. Your puny little minds can only come up with methods such as these. I never even factored in honor or self-restraint when I was plotting against you since you don't have them in the first place," Tianming said.

Imperator Ming had wasted his time and didn't even get any valuable hostages from it all the while Li Wudi wiped out more and more of his troops and collected their cosmic-god essences. The ranks of the vanguard army shrank more and more, being torn apart by ghouls, flameyellow divinities and flameyellow fiends. Their captured essences could be destroyed at any moment!

The best tactic against top elites like them was to split them up, the farther the better. With how large the Flameyellow Guard Formation was, they had more than enough space to do so. There was no way a single imperator could come to the aid of every single group that was split off. Imperator Ming's attempt at buying time had ended up costing him. His army was already unsalvageable.

"Have Imperator Yinne of the Sin Pantheon come over. I will negotiate with the both of you!" Tianming finally had the leverage to negotiate with them in the form of the lives of the vanguard troops.

"How are you going to negotiate?" It didn't take long before a gigantic black shade flew up from the flaming whirlpools of the Sun, reaching the edge of the astralguard formation. The miasma dissipated and revealed a really curvy woman with endlessly large primalwings behind her, nine large pairs in total. They were constituted of ninety-eight smaller primalwings. The two imperatores were ruthless enough to lead the invasion themselves, though they had never expected to suffer such losses.

"It's simple." Tianming pointed at himself. "I won't give you terms that are too ridiculous. I'm a pragmatic man, you see. I heard that you've already injected the power of the Heavenly Dao into the pathway, so heavenly punishment works here too. All I need you to do now is to represent the Eightpart Pantheons and make an oath to enact a ceasefire lasting a century. A measly one hundred years. Do that, and I'll immediately release your vanguard army and let all of you return home safely."

Those words caused the imperatores to fall silent. After a moment in thought, Imperator Yinne chuckled. "If we give you a century to catch up, we'd no longer be able to do anything to you."

"You have no choice. I hold their lives in my hand," Tianming said.

"Kill them, then," Imperator Yinne said before charging out of the Flameyellow Guard Formation. "Li Tianming, the Eightpart Pantheons will not compromise with you. We are willing to lose ten billion cosmic gods if it means we can get rid of you. Cease your senseless dreams. The next wave of reinforcements will come soon enough. I wonder how many days you will last?"

After that, the two imperatores flew off, but not far. They waited for their reinforcements to come.
