Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 4396 - Responsibility!

Chapter 4396 - Responsibility!

“Shoo, it’s time to work,” Tianming urged.

“What kind of attitude is that? I’m your father!” Wudi coughed.

“Fine fine, you’re the daddy here. Get busy, then.”

“That’s more like it,” Wudi snorted smugly.

“Also, during this period, use more of the dazzling radiances to strengthen yourself. Our relatives and friends, as well as the non-cosmic god citizens, are not to leave the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb for now,” Tianming said.

“You mean their top experts might infiltrate again?” Wudi asked.

“Duh. I even snuck into the Ninefirm Imperius to capture their imperial heir. Didn’t those three imperatores just copy what I did?” Tianming replied.

“You’re a man who values bonds. We can’t let them take any hostages or things will get ugly,” Wudi said with a nod. “Alright, don’t worry. I’ll seal the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb completely. Without my orders, no one goes out.”

“Mm.” Tianming nodded.

“So what are you going to do now?” Wudi asked.

Tianming gazed at the vast realm before him and said deeply, “With the Flameyellow Imperial Star and Xi Xi, our cosmic god army has finally begun to take shape. After these two battles, have you realized what we lack the most?”

“That’s easy,” Wudi looked at him and added, “Top-tier battle power. A real imperator-level combatant that can command a dynasty in the Upper Star Ruin.”

“Exactly. That’s why I’ve been cultivating the flameyellow descendants in the fortuna-class worlds.” Tianming paused, then said solemnly, “But relying on omnisentient power alone isn’t enough. The enemy may not give me any more time, so I must work on improving my own strength as quickly as possible... and so must you.”

The imperial-star elders and the undying aeternals have already reached their limits. If Huang Qi refused to act, then for the foreseeable future the only ones they could truly rely on were Tianming, Zi Zhen, and Lingfeng.

Wudi and Qingyu also had the potential, but their timelines were longer.

There had once been Moran with the fiercest growth rate, but she had unfortunately left.

Among them, Tianming was undoubtedly the pillar and the soul.

“Fine, go cultivate. Leave the trivial stuff to your old man,” Wudi waved his hand.

“Mm.” After victory, time became even more precious.

Tianming glanced at the still-cheering flameyellow clansmen. “In truth, we’re still far from winning. We’ve only crossed one hurdle...”

However, Tianming didn’t stop the celebrations. Flameyellow had been silent for far too long. This battle had made the entire universe witness their return!

They deserved to vent their emotions.

“The fortuna-class worlds will steadily produce cosmic gods using the order and overflow fragments. The flameyellow voidkin of the Ancestral Netherworld is our current backbone, but the flameyellow descendants of all fortuna-class worlds are the future. With the Sea of Aeternity, the ‘two’ flameyellow clans can finally align, and only then will powerful experts continue to emerge without end!”

In fact, people like Long Xing and Long Qian had not only become cosmic gods already but had also joined the Flameyellow Pentaphase Army.

From now on, pioneers like them who broke through the shackles of the Heavenly Dao would only become more numerous.

That was also why Jiguang and Yaoyao's responsibilities were so heavy. There were simply too many flameyellow descendants in the fortuna-class worlds. In the early stages, the order and overflow fragments were still insufficient, so fair distribution was needed for the capable to gain more to hold up the front.

This involved the resource allocation policy of the Tianming Dynasty.

In the past, families, clans, and races monopolized resources.

Tianming, however, preferred a meritocracy, weakening clan-based distribution. Only when the symbol of the Tianming Dynasty stood above the flameyellow divinities would social classes stop becoming rigid, and the talented have hope of social mobility.

Take the Eightpart Pantheons for example. Their mixed-bloods, royal lineage, and imperial lineages had a strict hierarchy, making upward mobility extremely difficult.

If the Tianming Dynasty was to become stronger, this clan system had to be broken and the strengths of grassroots geniuses excavated.

Tianming didn’t need to handle these matters personally. He only had to propose the philosophy and plenty of people around him would carry it out.

He landed on the yellow sands, disappearing into the swirling dust. This was a newborn world, rough and crude, yet hiding within it the boundless ambition of youth.

A purple-haired woman stood before him. She seemed to have fully recovered, with limitless power hidden within her body.

“Do you have any dazzling radiances?” Zi Zhen asked.

“Some good news?” Tianming asked.

“The last time I opened all ninehall eyes, it broadened the path during my recovery. Give me some dazzling radiances and I’ll be able to restore a lot of my strength in one go,” Zi Zhen said.

“That’s wonderful,” Tianming replied. He took out all the dazzling radiances he had on him and gave seventy percent of it to her.

“Is there enough for you?” Zi Zhen asked.

“I’ll make do for now. If it’s not enough, I’ll go get more from the Realm of Chaos. My big brother should have found new sources for me again,” Tianming said.

“I really envy you,” Zi Zhen said. “So many relatives, friends, followers, believers...”

“I envy you even more,” Tianming smiled.

“I’m all alone. What’s there to envy?” Zi Zhen shook her head.

“But you have me. That means you have everything,” Tianming said.

Zi Zhen froze for a moment, then rolled her eyes at him. “Smug bastard.”

Though she scoffed, some of her moodiness quietly dispersed.

Perhaps Tianming was right. Though she had nothing, as long as she stayed by his side, she could see all the positive energy in the world. Passion, responsibility, duty, ambition, family, love... all of it was there.

Tianming’s heart was engraved with the word “responsibility.” That sense of duty was precisely why Zi Zhen admired him.

“Let’s work hard together.” After distributing the dazzling radiances, Tianming sat down cross-legged with her.

“Next round, let’s see who grows bigger,” Tianming said meaningfully.

“Heh.” Zi Zhen glared at him.

Dare to get suggestive? Then I’ll just transform!
