Emperor’s Domination

Chapter 6778: Secret

Chapter 6778: Secret

Xiaoyue was one of the pursuers back then when Qing Ji betrayed them.

“It’s not hard for an immortal to hide a lifeform.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Yes, but no lifeform went missing.” Xiaoyue said confidently.

Although Divine Firmament was a major world, its population was incredibly pitiful. Therefore, each birth was a monumental event. They would have known if a child had gone missing.

“Isn’t it interesting? How did this girl appear inside Divien Firmament and no one was the wiser?” Li Qiye said.

“You’re wrong, I have no idea who this is.” Qing Ji said.

“Fine, then let’s talk about how you betrayed Divine Firmament.” Li Qiye glanced at the girl before changing the topic.

“I joined Immortal Hunt.” He blurted.

“Do you know that alliance’s goal?” Li Qiye smiled.

“Of course, I am older than you. To eat immortals.” He said.

“So you know.” Li Qiye smiled and patted Xiaoyue’s shoulder: “Do you think he needed to hunt and eat immortals? Did he eat any divine beast?”

She only sighed in response.

“There’s a reason behind the fall of each immortal. To become one, to live longer, to grow stronger.” Li Qiye said: “Which was yours?”

Qing Ji acted as if he didn’t hear the question.

“You were already an immortal before the fall.” Li Qiye continued: “Did you covet the primordial realm? Then no place would have been better than Divine Firmament, the root of all divine beasts.”

“Yes, it is indeed the best place to be born for divine beasts.” He sighed.

“What about eating immortals?” Li Qiye smiled: “Others might have had this idea, but the divine beasts were always picky with food, different from the primordial race.”

“Can’t swallow.” Qing Ji said, recalling the beautiful days back in Divine Firmament.

“Upon careful reflection, no one would really believe the betrayal.” Li Qiye said.

“I did join Immortal Hunt.” Qing Ji said.

“And I trust the dead.” Li Qiye said: “Why did you join?”

Qing Ji didn’t respond.

“The dead doesn’t wish to speak, what now?” Li Qiye asked Xiaoyue.

“I don’t know.” Xiaoyue shook her head before asking: “Why did you join Immortal Hunt?”

Qing Ji had a strange expression and didn’t speak.

“How can we make you speak?” Her eyes gleamed with a frightening light.

“I’m already dead, nothing can be done.” Qing Ji said.

“He’s right, and the remnant soul can’t handle it.” Li Qiye smiled: “The dead don’t speak, but the living do.”

“Young Noble?” She staggered backward.

“I’m just curious, did you all pursue him because he joined Immortal Hunt? How did you know about this mysterious organization?” Li Qiye asked.

“Someone told us.” She said.

“If you didn’t reveal this, would anyone have known?” Li Qiye asked Qing Ji.

“I did.” Qing Ji nodded.

“Interesting, a person joining Immortal Hunt choosing to reveal it, while other divine beasts must kill him for some reason. Something’s off about this whole story.” Li Qiye said.

“Yes.” She said.

“What am I missing?” Li Qiye asked: “Don’t force my hand.”

“Young Noble.” She took a deep breath and said: “It was an internal matter of the divine beasts.”

“What I suspect is this went beyond that.” Li Qiye said: “Therefore, what happened?”

She clenched her fists and said solemnly: “He desecrated Phoenix Queen.”

“I did not!” Qing Ji shouted.

“She was long dead, if I recall correctly.” Li Qiye said.

“Yes.” She nodded.

“This never happened!” Qing Ji became emotional.

“I saw it with my own eyes.” She glared at him.

“You have quite the fetish, defiling a corpse.” Li Qiye said.

“I did no such thing.” Qing Ji flatly denied the accusation.
