“If this continues, he will not survive.” Li Qiye said.

“Is it a mighty foe?!” Blaze Ancestor asked.

Although Bear Immortal was an outsider, he had protected them for generations now. Therefore, they had nothing but love for him. The problem was that they were too weak to offer assistance.

“Go, hurry!” Goldsilver, the overlord, reacted faster than anyone and pushed her.

She regained her wits and sped after Li Qiye.

“Clank.” As for Apexblade, he pinned his thin sword into the ground and sat down. Far in the future, he still maintained this position. Many built him a shrine afterward since he seemingly became a statue.

This was the home of Bear Immortal. Everyone else respected him and kept their distance. Mortals weren’t qualified to bother him. Thunder Emperor also kept a distance, believing that no one should intrude.

Cultivators chose to show respect through ceremonies instead. Blaze Ancestor was one of them.

“Over there.” Li Qiye brought her behind the mountain and gazed at the horizon.

She was met by a golden radiance and became stunned on the spot.

“This is our core, the illumination of the dao heart.” She murmured.

“Yes, Illumination.” He smiled.

“So that’s where it is.” She said.
