Emperor’s Domination

Chapter 7039: Greatest Sin

Chapter 7039: Greatest Sin

“True.” He pondered and agreed that the villainous heaven couldn’t trust or work with someone permanently.

His goal was to destroy worlds and all inhabitants, especially the most powerful immortals. If there were a true immortal, such a being would be at the top of the list.

“Sir, would you team up with Octopus and Hidden Immortal to take down the villainous heaven?” He had a different idea.

“No need.” Li Qiye shook his head.

“You believe you can kill the villainous heaven alone.” He had suspected this but still found it shocking.

“That’s irrelevant, the point is that I wish to destroy Octopus and the others. Working with them violates my original pursuit.” Li Qiye said.

“I suppose.” He nodded.

“And most importantly, will they come to me with an offer?” Li Qiye asked.

“Hmm...” He pondered before responding: “I don’t believe so.”

“Of course, I would be more than happy to see them, it will save me a lot of time.” Li Qiye smiled.

“They won’t without some guarantee.” He said.

Octopus and Hidden Immortal would never expose themselves because Li Qiye would take advantage of an opportunity.

“And I have none.” Li Qiye shook his head.

“Then I can be sure now, they are working with the villainous heaven.” He said.

“Having ideas is nice, better than none at all.” Li Qiye said: “For example, you had an idea too and now, you’re here.”

“Why must you bring up my scar and ruin the mood?” He complained.

“I just want to know that if they have an idea, it’ll end with their death.” Li Qiye said.

“The confidence.” He took a deep breath and asked: “Sir, when all is over, where will you go?”

“A place where I will be.” Li Qiye said with a smile.

“Where you will be?” He pondered the answer before asking: “Nothing here can hold you back?”

“Once let go, it is time to leave.” Li Qiye said.

“What if one can’t leave?” He asked.

“Imagine a pond with a whale.” Li Qiye answered.

“Other fish can’t survive.” He understood.

“It is time to turn into a peng and go where you should be.” Li Qiye said.

“I see...” He murmured emotionally.

While Li Qiye enjoyed his wine, he seemed to be both outside and one with this world.

“I have a question I wish to ask, Sir.” He eventually broke the silence.

“Ask.” Li Qiye smiled.

“Your thoughts are capable of delivering life and death now. If one day, someone betrays you, will you destroy this world?” He asked.

“What would you do?” Li Qiye asked.

“Kill the traitor.” He said.

“Would you destroy the world?” Li Qiye inquired again.

“Hmm, no.” He said: “Perhaps leaving is still better. I would be disappointed if a traitor stained the world, making it intolerable.”

“It’s just the mindset of immortals and saviors.” Li Qiye chuckled: “The world and its inhabitants are separate. Being betrayed doesn’t make the world dirty or since you had saved it, now it is a world full of light. When there is only light, it will become the source of all evil and deprive others of choice.”

“Isn’t the light the right choice?” He smiled.

“And that is the greatest sin.” Li Qiye said.

“It’s still better than falling to darkness.” He argued.

“Immortals and saviors are arrogant, believing that they should change the masses for the better.” Li Qiye said.
