Chapter 7048: Can’t Hit People

Spectators became frozen upon seeing this. They stared closely and saw that it left no mark on Li Qiye. All powers were nullified before touching him.

“That’s it? This is your ace card?” Li Qiye brushed his robe and smiled.

“Shoot, shoot him down!” Ash-serpent shouted.

“Yes!” Immortal Bronze activated all his power, causing the gun to glow radiantly.

The gun spewed flames from the high heaven and karmic chains. They coiled together into something unimaginable.

“Can Dusk Realm survive this?!” Immortals became frightened, not daring to stay near.

“Rumble!” Numerous bullets were fired at Li Qiye but dealt zero damage just like before.

“Seems like you know nothing about celestial immortals.” Li Qiye said.

“We need another solution, now!” Immortal Bronze shouted at Heavencrush.

The machine answered and released red rays mighty enough to frighten primordial immortals.

“It’s joining?” The crowd was curious about this metal existence.

Keep in mind that the celestial source within the machine was made from Heavenfall’s flesh and blood.

“A bit more interesting.” Li Qiye stared at the machine.

The rays came together to form a red laser beam, melting everything nearby.

“It’s happening soon.” Immortals prepared themselves.

“Boom!” This laser beam far exceeded the bullets earlier.

“Enough to kill a celestial immortal?” They wondered as Dusk Realm was nearly split into two halves.

However, the target was not Li Qiye. It created a path piercing through Dusk Realm. Since this place was made from Dusk’s body, it meant the beam was strong enough to injure a celestial immortal.

“It missed? Again then!” Ash-serpent shouted.

“It didn’t miss. It just can’t hit people.” Immortal Bronze shook its head.

Heavencrush was enigmatic even for the fortress race. It certainly wasn’t alive despite having so much potential.

Immortal Bronze’s answer surprised people. What did he mean by this? If he were literal, it would truly limit the machine’s uses. This would make them breathe much easier since they couldn’t be its target.

The question then became - why was it created and for what purpose?

“How amusing.” Li Qiye stared at the exquisite machine.

“What’s the point then?” Ash-serpent became confused.

“You will see.” Immortal Bronze appeared confident in the machine.
