“That’s not something we can change.” He said.

“Yes, but you’re trying to change it.” Li Qiye smiled: “The innate gifts are deadly flaws, reducing your reproduction capability. That’s why you all must stay in Divine Firmament because each death is a terrible loss. If this factor were slightly improved, then all of Heavenrealm would have been enslaved.”

“Are we truly this insufferable?” He smiled wryly.

“Yes, your selfishness demands the creation of the dragon servants. After all, each child is precious and needs help getting to maturity. This means having millions of servants per child.” Li Qiye said.

“Our survival ability is still rather strong.” He commented.

“Yes, but does that still count when the child is outside of Heavenrealm and without any dragon servants? All the other immortals will try to capture one, hence the isolation.” Li Qiye said: “You all fear extinction and the rise of other races. Thus, there is a fixation on having more members. The more you have, the more you can lord over other worlds.”

“I don’t share the same ambition.” He shook his head.

“What do the other divine beasts think?” Li Qiye smiled: “The past of your race circles around this main theme, reproduction. Don’t tell me you aren’t aware.”

He remained silent for a long while before asking: “What is the purpose of your trip here, Young Noble?”

“What if I say I wish to destroy your race?” Li Qiye asked.

“You’re joking.” He staggered backward and turned pale.

“Not quite, since a few people shouldn’t exist.” Li Qiye said: “That’s why I am here to get some answers and find someone.”
