Chapter 1806: The Origin Reversion Institute Arrives

As Heavenly Emperor Jiang's agonized roar rumbled through the ten divine continents, the other Heavenly Emperors, all embroiled in intense battles, were taken aback by the sudden development.

Those cretins had actually gone to the Nobles' Battlefield, targeting the Heavenly Emperors that had stayed behind.

"Truly a malicious tumor on our lands!" Li Luo fumed in his heart. A Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperor and five ordinary Heavenly Emperors had fallen. This was undoubtedly a crippling blow to the forces of the divine continents. He couldn't understand why the Origin Reversion Institute would act so viciously. Had they truly been completely corrupted by the Shadow World?

If the Origin Reversion Institute's Heavenly Emperors were to return to the divine continents, the divine continents would lose the advantage that they had fought tooth and nail for. When this thought crossed their minds, the duo's hearts sank. What were they trying to do?

A point at the end of the void began to ripple, and a vortex formed there. A moment later, several figures strode out from within. The one in the lead emanated a majestic aura, and he had an ancient bronze mask where his head was supposed to be. Black flames danced within the eyesockets of the mask.

The Origin Reversion Institute's Heavenly Emperor Yin had arrived. Behind him were the rest of the Heavenly Emperors of the Origin Reversion Institute. Right when the battle between the divine continents and the Shadow World had reached its climax, the Origin Reversion Institute had made their appearance.

"Origin Reversion Institute, are you truly trying to destroy the divine continents?!" asked Heavenly Emperor Jiang. His gaze was electric, filled with utmost fury as he glared at the group.

Heavenly Emperor Yin's eyes lowered slightly, ignoring him.

"Heavenly Emperor Yin, you've done well. You have not betrayed us," said Sightless Underworld as its gaze towards the newcomers turned warm. "You can rest assured. When the Shadow World occupies the divine continents, we will leave land for you."

Sightless Underworld had not expected that the Origin Reversion Institute would act so viciously, directly slaughtering all of the Heavenly Emperors left behind in the Nobles' Battlefield. As a result, the balance of power had shifted greatly towards the Shadow World. In this case, all they had to do was summon the Imprisoned Ghost Grand Devil King from the Nobles' Battlefield. This would then end the Origin Reversion War in their favor.

With that in mind, Sightless Underworld issued its summons. However, the summons that were sent across space and time did not receive any sort of response, which made its smile stiffen. As it attempted to sense what had happened, it noticed that the auras of the Grand Devil Kings that had been dispatched to the Nobles' Battlefield, including Imprisoned Ghost, a Divine Fruit Grand Devil King, had all completely vanished.

"Heavenly Emperor Yin, what happened to Imprisoned Ghost?" asked Sightless Underworld, its gaze gloomy.

Heavenly Emperor Yin's expression remained placid. "It cooperated with us earlier."

Sightless Underworld was enraged by his nonchalant words, and apocalyptic devilish power poured out of him, causing the void to disintegrate layer by layer. It said with an icy voice, "Did the Origin Reversion Institute kill them?"

All of the new information left Heavenly Emperor Jiang a little surprised. The Shadow World's Imprisoned Ghost and the other Grand Devil Kings had also been exterminated by the Origin Reversion Institute? Did Heavenly Emperor Yin and his cronies treat everyone equally? However, what was truly startling was the fact that the Origin Reversion Institute possessed enough strength to kill Heavenly Emperor-level experts from both sides.

Altogether, there had been two Divine Fruit experts and more than ten ordinary Heavenly Emperor Stage combatants. The power required to eliminate all of them far surpassed what Heavenly Emperor Jiang knew the Origin Reversion Institute was capable of! How had they managed to accomplish that?

Heavenly Emperor Yin smirked as he looked at Sightless Underworld, who was trembling in fury. "It will all be worth it once we achieve our ultimate goal."

Sightless Underworld's eyes flickered thoughtfully with gloomy light as it stared at him. It finally understood why he had approached them under the guise of cooperation. It was clearly because he had hoped that the divine continents and the Shadow World would tie each other up, allowing the Origin Reversion Institute to opportunistically sneak into the Nobles' Battlefield and plot against both sides!

In the end, Sightless Underworld's rage subsided, and it revealed a malicious smile and nodded. "You are correct."

The ultimate goal had always been to revive their one true lord, the Origin of Absolute Corruption. It believes that the moment the Origin of Absolute Corruption returned to this world, everything would be dealt with. At that point in time, whether they were a divine continent or Origin Reversion Institute Heavenly Emperor, they would all be akin to ants before the true lord.

Someone like the Legendary Sect Master didn't exist in this era, so the Origin of Absolute Corruption would be unequalled, capable of ending the timeless war which had raged for thousands of years. And the Shadow World would come out on top.

"In that case, what do you plan to do next?" Sightless Underworld asked.

Heavenly Emperor Yin stepped aside, then the Emptiness Heavenly Emperor and the rest acted the same way deferentially. A black coffin floated out of the same vortex they had arrived in. It quietly floated in the sky like an unmatched sovereign. The entire world turned deathly silent as well.

An indescribable pressure enveloped the hearts of all living creatures; even Heavenly Emperor experts could feel their bodies turning sluggish and heavy, as though their almighty Authorities had been restrained.

Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e were also focused on the coffin. They had noticed that the ancient seals that once covered it had completely disappeared. Furthermore, the slight crack between the coffin and its lid had disappeared.

Li Luo's heart skipped a beat when he noticed that Li Lingjing wasn't present. She was the carrier for the quasi tenth-grade extinction resonance's power, so she should've been there. This realization caused him to look towards the coffin again.

Could it be that she had entered the coffin?
