Li Luo's gloomy and furious expression gradually regained its calm, as he didn't wish for her to be worried. He grinned and asked, "Sister Qing'e, did you learn your sense of timing from me?"

Jiang Qing'e also calmed down when she heard his teasing words. "While you were desperately struggling just now, my heart was filled with immense fear. I was fully committed to dying with you. It was at that moment that the quasi tenth-grade light resonance fully awakened."

Li Luo was a little surprised, and a warm feeling filled his heart. He had only wished to ease the tension; he had not expected her to reply so seriously. Her simple and honest words surpassed all of the romantic mutterings of the world.

"Mhm." Jiang Qing'e lightly nodded in agreement.

The couple stood side-by-side, ready to face the most terrifying being the world had ever seen.

It was at this moment that the Dark Sect Master observed the duo with an amused glint in her eyes. That said, she was mainly focused on Jiang Qing'e. She wasn't surprised at the fact that she was the quasi tenth-grade light resonance, but rather the fact that it had completely awakened at this critical juncture.

She controlled the quasi tenth-grade extinction resonance, so she naturally knew how hard it was to awaken it. She also knew that Jiang Qing'e had always been lacking one final thing, unable to cross that threshold until now.

That was the extinction resonance! It had surpassed the realm of Authority and reached an entirely new realm: the quasi tenth-grade!

The pitch-black extinction energy poured out boundlessly, sweeping towards the divine continents. The quasi tenth-grade light resonant from Jiang Qing'e was continuously erased by repeated clashes with the extinction resonant power.

As the two powers collided again and again, the resulting shockwaves caused even Heavenly Emperor experts to feel a sense of shock as the Authorities within them trembled. This was an unprecedented battle of the tenth-grade.

Whenever the two pinnacle powers struck each other, the entire world was filled with only the colors black and white. One representing extinction and the other light. All other energies were assimilated into either of the two. Even the Heavenly Emperor Authorities had retreated back to their owners' bodies, akin to subjects trembling before their emperor.

Heavenly Emperor Jiang watched the battle with both solemnity and worry. Jiang Qing'e was the only person in the world capable of resisting the Dark Sect Master. The difference in realms was simply too terrifying. The tenth-grade reigned supreme, capable of completely crushing the power of Authority. However, as the battle between the two continued, Heavenly Emperor Jiang realized that Jiang Qing'e's veil of light was being constantly torn apart.

This caused his heart to sink. Although she was qualified to challenge the Dark Sect Master, she was still lacking in terms of the foundation of her abilities. The Dark Sect Master was able to wield the quasi tenth-grade extinction resonance much more exquisitely, harnessing greater strength. The only bright side was that the Dark Sect Master had not truly entered the tenth-grade completely. Otherwise, Jiang Qing'e would have been completely unable to resist.

The Holy Phoenix Parasol in her hand opened up. The canopy expanded outwards infinitely with the light, directly covering all of the divine continents and blocking the erosion of extinction energy. At the same time, she bit her finger, causing golden blood radiating with light to flow out. The droplet of blood possessed a power that surpassed supreme ninth-grade spirit liquids and purifying lights.

Her bloodstained finger waltzed through the air quickly, tracing out the shape of a talisman. A moment later, the talisman of light shot into the sky, descending on the Dark Sect Master's head. Light bloomed, transforming into a magnificent and matchlessly large glazed glass platform. Above the platform hung a guillotine, stained with the blood of experts.

When the Heavenly Emperors saw the guillotine, they felt chills running down their spines and their Authorities squeaked in fear. It was as though they had encountered a frightening object that was capable of killing them.

Jiang Qing'e coldly called out, "Light: Platform of Judgment!"

This art was beyond a Transcendent Art; it was perhaps something only someone with a tenth-grade resonance could create.

The manifestation of light let out a roar as the blade fell, seemingly capable of penetrating through space and time. Once it was locked onto a target, no matter where they hid, the blade would always find them.

The Dark Sect Master did not plan to run though. On the contrary, a smirk appeared on her face as she raised her head to look at the blade. She then swiped her finger through the air. The void collapsed, and a surging black sea rushed out of the crack, overflowing with the power of corruption. She had summoned the Acheronian Sea of Corruption, a location in the Shadow World. Having fused with the Origin of Absolute Corruption meant that the entire Shadow World was at her beck and call.

The Acheronian Sea of Corruption rumbled when it came into contact with the guillotine. The blade was plunged into the endless sea, constantly purifying the water into nothingness, but the sea seemed limitless. Jiang Qing'e's expression changed, however, as she could sense that the blade of the guillotine was endlessly sinking, trapped in another world.

"Now that you've exhausted yourself, it's my turn," said the Dark Sect Master, her expression calm.

The void behind her continued to collapse, and boundless extinction power swept out. A gigantic jet-black wheel appeared, akin to an apocalyptic beast, slowly turning. It looked identical to the Absolute Resonance Halo, the only difference being that extinction power flowed around it.

The Dark Sect Master then lightly grasped at the void, and the black wheel started to descend towards Jiang Qing'e. This was the Extinction Shadow Halo
