Chapter 2029: Battling Four Peak Sovereigns III

The gray-haired beastman looked at Grey with a serious expression.

The lady in the group struck out at Grey at this moment, while the other beastman attacked went after Void.

Grey and Void did not try to take these attacks, using their space elements, they were able to evade these attacks with ease. The reason Grey was in a tight spot when facing these beastmen was that four were just too many for him. He was unable to make use of the space element as freely as he could when he was fending off against four opponents whose cultivation stages were higher than his own. Against just one was a different story. It was impossible for this lady to keep him in one place.

His figure flickered erratically, and before long, he countered, forcing the lady to block the attack. He did not stop there. Moving like a bolt of lightning, he attacked the beastman fighting with Void.

The beastman did not expect Grey to suddenly come over, and while he was able to keep Void at bay, Grey’s sudden attack threw him off. With no other choice, he was forced to block one attack.

Void’s attack did not look as dangerous as Grey’s, so he opted to take that attack with his physical body, while doing all he could to block Grey’s attack.

The beastman never imagined that the real attack would come from Void. Grey’s attack was nothing more than a dummy attack to attract most of his attention. Void’s attack, on the other hand, possessed lethality. Just like what he did against the white-clothed beastman, Void made use of the darkness element once again.

Void’s attack struck the beastman first, and the darkness element struck quickly. The corrosiveness of the darkness element disrupted the flow of the elemental essence in the body of the beastman before Grey’s attack came.

This change shocked the beastman to the core. The main reason he did not try to block Void’s attack was because he could sense that Grey’s attack was the one that felt stronger.

He never expected Grey’s attack, which was previously moving very fast to arrive a second slower than Void’s. Not just that, Void’s attack messed up his elemental essence, making it impossible for him to actually block Grey’s attack in the end.

"What was the point of me trying to block his attack then?!’

The beastman was on the verge of crying. How could something like this happen to him?

There was no way for him to even try to block the attack coming from Grey.

Boom! Bang!

The beastman was struck cleanly by the attack, crashing to the ground.

A large crater almost two hundred meters wide appeared on the ground.

The lady looked on with shock. Even the gray-haired and white-clothed beastmen were stunned beyond words. They did not expect that only a few seconds after just blocking this attack from the strange boy and cat, they would use the same method again.

This was exactly the same thing they did to the white-clothed beastman. Void struck first, using his darkness element to disrupt the flow of his essence, while Grey struck the killing blow. The same time happened to the other beastman. Only, this time, the gray-haired beastman was not able to help him take the attack.

Grey was pleased by the result of their coordinated attack. If not for the gray-haired beastman who spoiled the initial plan, this would have been the result of their attack on the white-clothed beastman. Luckily, they were able to salvage the situation purely thanks to the lady and beastman who attacked them.

From the initial assault on Grey, he already realized the lady and this beastman had the least combat experience. This was the reason he was able to throw off the lady with just one attack, before rushing to strike the beastman.

If the beastman were to know that the reason he suffered such a crushing attack was due to him and the Lady rashly attacking the duo immediately after they just tried to take down the white-clothed beastman, he might cough up a mouthful of blood in indignation.

Grey and Void did not continue their assault, rather, they just stood in the air menacingly, staring down at the gray-haired and white-clothed beastmen. They were just two individuals with cultivation lower than their opponents, but if anyone were to see them currently, the person would have the impression that Grey and Void were the ones with a higher cultivation while the beastpeople were the weaker ones.

’What sort of monsters are they?’ The gray-haired beastman could barely keep his composure at this point. When they were fighting four against one, even though they managed to injure Grey, they all knew these injuries were superficial and would not hinder him in any way.

Now that not only has one of them been injured, but the white-clothed beastman would not be able to bring out his full strength, the seemingly simple battle has taken a turn. There was also the elusive black cat by the side of this strange boy.

Grey put on a harmless smile as he stared at the trio, he did not rush to attack again. Although he knew these beastpeople would not let him leave easily, he knew it would be hard to achieve this same result again. Doing it twice was already very lucky. Sadly, the first attack did not take out the white-clothed beastman.

The beastman, who was slammed to the ground, did not move for about thirty seconds before crawling out of the crater. In these thirty seconds, neither Grey nor the beastpeople made a move.

The beastman was covered in blood, his aura faltering.
