Chapter 1201: The Founder’s Restriction Seal

Chapter 1201: The Founder’s Restriction Seal

Standing behind the backs of these Royal Asuras and casting hand seals, Lith felt a strange oppressive sensation.

He couldn’t feel this when removing the seals of the non-royal Asuras.

To break that mind control, Lith’s bloodline suppression was enough.

With Sylvia’s help, a wide range spatial spell was cast over the entire main world of the Asuras. Through this, all he had to do was suppress people with his bloodline along with [Psych Puppetry] and voila, the control broke.

Lith didn’t feel a backlash then, but now was an entirely different matter.

He could feel that one wrong step might lead him to death.

Killing him was a nigh impossible task though. He was close to death multiple times in the gap dimension and surrounded by many calamities, yet he emerged victorious and defeated many in the outer ring.

’If this causes a backlash to me, it’ll be troublesome. But if it causes a backlash to them and they die then...’

This was an interesting train of thought.

Lith had a contract with the Asura Royals which stated his and their demand. Though, in that contract, there wasn’t anything written which forbade the two parties from killing each other.

Without such a condition, it was risky to appear here and Lith knew. Yet he willingly walked into the trap. It wasn’t because he was stupid but because of his unique ability [Return].

[Return] ignored all restraints and allowed him to go home. This ability will be triggered on its own if he was in grave danger, so he was immune to assassinations and one-shot attacks.

Lith moved his hands on the three Asura Royals’ backs in a fluid motion, casting many magic circles.

The restrictions came to light and were a deep red magic circle engulfing Lith’s blue ones.

In a while, a bit of Lith’s spiritual power was used up and he successfully made the entire restriction appear before him. This was a major feat in itself as none but him could achieve due to the dormant Asura bloodline within him.

It was a magnificent magic circle appearing ancient and giving off a faint suppression.

Lith’s instincts were ringing and asking him to not make another move.

However, an opportunity lay right in front of him.

’It has been a long time... let’s end it once and for all...’

Lith took a deep breath and focused.

The three Royal Asuras were still unsuspecting.

The Asura Crown Prince sat calmly in place and thought, ’If he fails, he’ll die from the backlash. If he succeeds, we can just kill him. It’s a win-win situation.’

Never in his dreams had he thought that their enemy was so stupid. He willingly walked into their trap and was now about to die. How amazing it would be if all things in life were this easy.

The Crown Prince felt emotional thinking their biggest adversity would be resolved in such a simple manner. If fate allowed it, they might even escape from the founder’s restrictions. Though the chances of such a thing happening were low.

The Asura Princess was controlled by Lith and had no thoughts. She sat calmly.

Meanwhile, the Asura Queen sat calmly, her head much clearer than the Crown Prince.

’So far, he’s not exuded any killing intent.’ She thought.

If Lith showed any killing intent, the body restriction on her would be lifted and she would kill him. If he had any funny thoughts behind their backs and casted a spell that could kill them, the Asura Queen was sure she could catch onto it and kill him before the spell came into effect.

All in all, she was confident in her abilities. For now, Lith hadn’t shown any suspicious behavior and was working diligently. Through her inner sight, she could see that the founder’s restrictive spell had come to light.

This hadn’t happened before and the Asura Queen was somewhat relieved to see that Lith had some knowledge in this aspect.

Time passed.

It had been an hour and Lith was sweating bullets.

The three Asuras also felt oppressed by the founder’s spell. One-eight of the seal was lifted. While it was a thing to rejoice over, there was no time or occasion.

Who would’ve thought that unsealing would result in the restriction strengthening further.

It was as if the seal was sentient and knew someone was trying to break it.

’I’ve come this far. The founding Asura was such a despicable man to put his descendants through something of such caliber.’

Through the seal, Lith suddenly realized something.

Even if he were to break the restriction, something bad was sure to happen. He would be implicated but the Asuras won’t be safe either.

A dagger was inching closer to Lith’s throat with each movement.

The three Asuras could feel it too, especially the queen who was much more sensitive due to being a generation older and possessing a more potent bloodline.

’Oh no... why is this giving me a bad premonition?’ The Asura Queen had a cold sweat trickle down her back but didn’t stop Lith.

While there was danger, there was also a feeling of lightness. She didn’t feel she would die, just suffer through major injuries.

The magic circle in front was like an entangled mess of strings. The more he solved, the tighter the rest of the mess turned to untangle.

After an entire night, Lith took an hour’s break when the restriction was removed by half. His spiritual power was almost depleted and he had to consume pills to recover it back.

The Asuras were sweating too due to the immense pressure. It felt as if someone was constantly hammering their heads. The splitting headache was getting unbearable.

Continuing, Lith suddenly thought, ’It’s getting tougher with each turn. I’m afraid only mom could remove the entire restriction.’

Although his bloodline was stronger than the Asuras, it was still a long way to go before entirely overpowering the founder’s which reflected in this magic circle.

Lilith had undergone ascension which made her stronger but due to one thing leading to another, they hadn’t completed a ritual which should further strengthen Lith and Lucy’s bloodline.

Given the current situation, it would require Lith to either undergo a breakthrough to Supreme Rank or...

Lith took a deep breath. His eyes gleamed with resolve and he began casting an entirely different set of hand seals.

Layers of blue-colored magic circles appeared before the blood-colored founder’s restriction circle. It engulfed them one after another, until finally, Lith cast a purple colored magic circle.

The Asura Queen’s pupil shrank as she sensed her immediate death.

"NO—"

BOOOOM—!

Lith was blown away by the sudden explosion and the three Asura Royals’ bodies burst apart, sending them to their deaths.

The blood-colored magic circle flashed a bright light while hovering in the air, spinning madly as the dark-colored magic circle slithered within it.

Lith let out fits of cough. His hand trembled as he took out a healing pill from his space ring and struggled to eat it, his eyes never leaving the founder’s restriction circle.

’Cunning bastard...’ Lith thought as he gulped the healing pill.

In the founder’s restriction spell, Lith found an empty slot. For what it was, he didn’t know. Though, he could instinctively feel that it was trying to suck his blood essence.

He initially avoided it but later felt that it could cause a chain reaction of some sort which might not necessarily benefit the current Asuras.

Having no other choice, he first broke the last few pieces of the chain reaction that might be caused due to the empty slot and imbued it with his blood essence that it was trying so hard to suck.

The result of which was...

The blood and flesh of the Royal Asuras splattered on the ground clubbed together on top of the spinning magic circle.

A shadowy figure emerged from the founder’s restriction circle and mixed itself with the mangled flesh, turning that into a middle-aged man’s appearance.

As half the body was formed, the middle-aged man opened his eyes. As a few seconds passed, he frowned and looked around.

The magic circle had stopped spinning.

There was a silver-haired man leaning against the wall and staring at him with indifferent eyes.

Looking down, he opened and closed his fist, finding it to be a part of his body and completely real.

He turned to the silver-haired man again.

"Were you the one that caused this?"

Lith felt a strong pressure descend on him, as if he was put under a boulder.

Though, it was nothing compared to the pressure his mother exuded normally.

Continuing to maintain an indifferent gaze, he said, "Won’t you explain yourself first, Asura Ancestor?"
