It thundered before him.

The ground sizzled and atop a small crater was a humanoid creature with goat horns, looking around with a baffled gaze.

The young man let out a puff and said, "I’ll wait until there’s two more of you."

He then tossed it a cigar.

"Enjoy what little time you have."

He let out another puff.

"It’s a scene from one of the 666 floors of the Abyss. Devils are pouring inside it from the Upper Realm," Lilith explained.

Lith nodded.

The projection changed.

In the Angel Continent, a pillar of light shot to the skies from the middle of the Heavenly Court.

Time to time, a holy being’s projection would descend through this.

The Angels were happy to see them but sometimes...

Lilith chucked softly. "Alex is undergoing ascension and asked her to guard against these unknown beings."

Lith had a thoughtful expression on his face.

"Did he ask her to sit on his throne?"

Lilith shook her head. "He asked her to protect the Angels in secret, but Lucifer found it more convenient to sit closer to this pillar and keep watch. In their emperor’s absence, what could these poor Angels even say?"

The gap between an Emperor Rank and Supreme Rank was too vast, not to mention between Emperor Rank and Legendary Rank.
