“Wife,” Xiang Yu spoke in a soft voice.

||Yes?|| Li Yao asked, tightening her grip on his hands and pinning them to the ground above his head with one hand. Her other hand began exploring under his shirt.

“If you don’t stop now, I’ll be really mad,” he said.

She paused for a moment. Then she continued.

||It’s okay, I don’t mind if husband punishes me,|| she said.

“I forgot she was this kind of person,” he thought as he struggled to break free. He then changed his expression to a pleading one.

“Yao Yao, why don’t you let go and we can go to the bed?” He then looked to the side. “Doing it here is a little embarrassing,” he said with a blush.

Before she could finish speaking, she felt a smack on the head.

“Who?” She turned around with an angry expression, only to hear her now normal voice. She then looked at her hands and noticed that she was back to her normal self.

Before her was the Empress, looking at her with a disapproving expression.

“You…” she began, but she remembered something. “Oh no…” She turned back to see her senior brother, who was looking at her with a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

“Senior brother, wait… I can explain… it’s the power, I can’t control myself… I didn’t do it on purpose,” she began frantically.

Xiang Yu placed a finger on her lips. “It’s okay, you don’t have to explain,” he said in a calm voice.

Her eyes brightened. “Senior brother…” she called out in relief.

But this was short-lived as Xiang Yu’s sleeve extended to form a long whip. “It’s my fault for not disciplining you better,” Xiang Yu said with a sad expression.

“No, senior brother, it’s not your fault. It’s me who didn’t learn,” she said.

Xiang Yu smiled. “It’s good to see that you understand your mistakes,” Xiang Yu said, raising his whip.

“Understand?” she questioned. She then realized what she had just said. “Wait, no,” she began, but Xiang Yu didn’t listen. He swung his whip.

“Wait, let me put on some clothes first…” she screamed.

“Hmm, something is wrong here,” Xiang Yu thought, looking at Li Yao.

“Ah, senior brother, it’s so goo… I mean, it hurts so much,” she screamed.

He looked at her, then at his whip. “Ahem. It seems you’ve learned your lesson. I’ll let it slide for now,” he said as his whip slowly merged back into his void silk. He looked at her, thinking to himself that it didn’t seem to be working. Maybe he should find a new method.

As he was thinking of this, she jumped on him, her face extremely flushed and her breath ragged. “Senior brother, you’re so good to me. I can only repay you with my body,” she began.

[Ahem… are you two done?] the Empress spoke.

“Ah, we forgot she was here,” Xiang Yu and Li Yao thought at the same time.

A few seconds later, both were dressed and knelt before a seat where the Empress sat, drinking tea.

[Do you know your mistakes?] she asked after taking a sip of her tea.

“We apologize for showing such a scene to the Empress,” they replied in unison, bowing.

The Empress looked at them and put her cup down. “What is happening to me?” she wondered. Why did she stop Li Yao from taking Xiang Yu? Before, she wouldn’t have cared. And it was even good for Li Yao to do that, thus benefiting her as well. So why did she stop it? Could it be…

Li Yao glanced at the Empress. She remembered how she had disabled her heavenly dao form before. How was that even possible? The Empress said she had never learned the law of heavenly way and also doesn’t have the power to use a law at the moment, so how was she able to so easily disable it?

Dammit, she is a threat, she thought. If the Empress could disable her heavenly dao form, then she wouldn’t be able to bully Xiang Yu anymore. She needed to get her on her side.

She reached into her ring and pulled out a cake she had been saving for a while now. It was a gift she had received from Xiang Yu after their wedding night. “This is my most valuable item. I was planning to never eat it and keep it as a reminder,” she thought, tears appearing at the corners of her eyes.

She steadied her resolve. “No, this is an investment,” she thought. If she could get the Empress on her side, it meant she could have unlimited access to senior brother.

“Empress, take this as an apology for showing you such a sight,” she said as she placed the cake on the table, bowing slightly like a butler.

The Empress saw the cake and her eyes lit up. “This is… can I really have it?” she asked.

“Hmph, so easy,” Li Yao thought. Even if she was an empress, she was still just a normal girl. She was so excited she even forgot to use her authority to put on airs.

She smiled. “This battle… consider it won by yours truly…”

As she was celebrating internally, she suddenly saw Xiang Yu walking over with a tray full of all sorts of desserts. They looked even better than the cake she had. Xiang Yu pushed Li Yao away and placed all the dishes on the table, standing on the side like a waiter.

“Empress, let this subject massage your shoulders,” Xiang Yu said, appearing behind her and massaging her shoulders.

“Xiang Yu, you’re such a nice kid to your elders. When Li Yao bullies you, just tell me,” she said.

Li Yao looked at him with an angry expression. How shameless. He used all his skills against a weak woman like her, she thought, gritting her teeth.

Xiang Yu smiled. “Welcome to the real world, kid,” he thought, laughing internally.

He thought to himself that with this “Super Ultra SSR Empress pull: instant knockout against Li Yao, no cooldown,” he would conquer the world.
