Infinite Awakening: My Exp Doubles Everyday

Chapter 405: Genetically Modified

Chapter 405: Genetically Modified

After the consecutive breakthroughs, Xiang Yu circulated his energy to calm himself.

Only then did he finally turn his attention to the reset screen.

He began with his body refining as always.

After the reset, his body refining had broken through once again due to the War God Body breakthrough, entering the thirty-eighth layer.

He couldn’t wait to go all out in the simulation.

His cultivation was now in the first layer of Soul Formation and his soul was in adult stage, so he ignored those stats.

His enlightenment and spiritual root were coming along great and were just two resets away – could’ve been one if he managed to get six thousand exp for each, but that wasn’t happening.

For enlightenment, it might be somewhat possible, but for spiritual root, it wasn’t happening anytime soon.

He sighed and moved past them.

His Transcendent Dao Body was just a reset away from upgrading.

His Stellar Constellation Dao Body was two resets away, and his Chaos Body was about three resets away.

He smiled – he was having breakthroughs every other day.

For his domains, Void and Gravity were still far from breakthrough despite the increase in speed.

On the other hand, Space, Time, and Chaos had entered the World Realm, boosting his overall power by quite a bit. Even so, he remained unsure if he could bridge the gap to the Absolute level with these five.

He sighed. How come he was progressing so fast and yet so slow at the same time?

He glanced at his other domains.

All the elemental domains seemed to be progressing nicely and would probably enter the World level after the reset. Same for the Creation domain.

But the Yin-Yang, Order, Fate, and Karma domains had a little problem – they were progressing extremely slowly.

The others had progressed because they were being used more.

Creation was almost always on. Void and Gravity were always being practiced in the spiritual sea, same for Space, Time, Chaos, and all the elements.

He needed to find more opportunities to train these domains, and the opportunity wasn’t that far off.

In fact, he already had a plan in mind.

Due to the new training routine, his soul flame had advanced rapidly this round and was already just a reset away from first grade.

“By the way, whatever happened to those people that wanted the flame for themselves?” he wondered.

He remembered hearing something about this from his junior sister.

Well, not that it mattered now. Even if they were immortals, could they breakthrough his barrier?

His palm intent had broken through to the third level, and the same would happen to the other weapons’ intent after the next reset.

The breakthrough in intent had given a significant boost in power to his palm attacks, and he couldn’t wait to see more of this.

He also felt as though he was on the verge of glimpsing something huge with this.

He supposed he should wait and see what happens.

Yin-Yang Harmony and Elemental Clone had both broken through to the third level, both receiving huge optimizations and readjustments that increased the efficiency of the two skills greatly.

This was especially so for his Elemental Clone ability.

Now that his mind level had leveled up, these optimizations would be great for when he makes his new clones.

With Heavenly level mind, he could make a hundred conscious partitions. With two already permanently occupied and eight having assigned jobs, he still had ninety clones to work with.

Things were about to get a whole lot more interesting, he thought with a faint smile.

For his professions, nothing interesting had happened except for his Researcher profession, which had gained a thousand exp during the day and was almost at the halfway point. If he gained another thousand points during the day, it could level up in the next reset.

The reason it had gained such a large amount of exp was because he had been trying to research the Researcher profession and see if he could glimpse a path forward.

But even after so much research, he couldn’t see anything and was still in the dark.

Even so, he wasn’t giving up – he would just continue researching.

Although Researcher had a limit, he was still far from hitting the limit yet, so he should continue researching it as he upgrades it.

Who knows, maybe he’ll glimpse something interesting.

With that, he waved his hand and dismissed the system screen.

The day’s progress was nice, but he felt it could’ve been better. Well, with so many clones now, it was definitely about to get better.

He waved his hand and instantly, three clones appeared before him.

He still used just the Dragon and Phoenix bloodlines. For four-bloodline clones, they would have to wait. He looked at the clones before him, thinking to himself that at the moment, he could only create three.

Technically, he could create all ninety of them, but he wanted all of them to be bloodline clones, specifically pure-bloods as normal clones were too weak to even be useful at his current level.

The clones walked over to the spirit vein.

Xiang Yu thought to himself that he had realized something he found quite interesting.

When the spirit vein body is activating the domain, the other clones were also able to interact with the domain at minimal cost. With this strategy, Xiang Yu could have many clones working on things inside the spirit vein’s creation domain without much cost as the spirit vein powers and maintains the domain.

The others just do some minor stuff to interact with the domain.

The three new clones split into groups. One would work with the spirit vein to continue making immortal-level resources, and the other two would join up with the Wood clone to conduct high-level research.

Xiang Yu thought to himself that he could also use the Creation domain to do modifications to herbs at a level he’d never done before.

With the Creation domain and his knowledge, he might finally be able to create herbs that, when refined into pills, could have the effects of triggering enlightenment or even upgrading natural talent.
