<Ding!>

<Your stats have reached the limit of Grade 1!>

<If you wish to increase your stats further, you must Ascend!>

Rael took a deep breath and shot a glance at Solenne, whose eyes were slightly widened.

“My… Your strength has increased by leaps and bounds within seconds,” Solenne remarked, her expression flushing slightly. “Now I want you even more.”

Despite his clear disgust, his draconic tail wiggled slightly, causing his brows to twitch.

Still, he decided to get on with it, as he didn’t know what to expect, aside from Alcetas saying that she planned on stealing his identity.

—Solenne, The First Light (Player) (Grade 5 | Rare Class) [Level 1] | Vitality: Tier 15 [100% / 100% HP]

Her HP is in the Sextillions. Even if I hit her with my strongest skills, I wouldn’t be able to actually kill her, Rael pondered. Then, an idea suddenly struck him.

Burger. I got 50 Draconic Intelligence. Don’t you think it’s time to help me?

[Hmm…? You didn’t unlock the Draconic heart though?] Burger replied.

It was true that he didn’t unlock it, but that was simply because these were temporary stats. After the effects finished, the stats would go back to normal.

That included the +150% increase from the water, as well as his Mind Realm Domain.

If someone fought him with just an umbrella, Rael would be done for. And as for the Mind Realm Domain, he felt his Mental Integrity decrease at a rate of nearly 5 per second, which meant that in just a little over 8 minutes, that buff would disappear as well.

Come on. If you don’t help me here, then I’m going to die.

[Just use the Premium Trickery: Death perk and get it done with. Fake your death or something,] Burger said plainly. [Because as it stands, I have a feeling that no matter how much I help you, the outcome won’t change.]

Doesn’t hurt to try, does it? Rael added.

After a few moments of silence, Burger let out a sigh.

[Use your Mind attack, but instead of Mana Trell Points, use Dragon Force.]

Rael’s eyes widened as he recalled the skill he had stolen from Mercurius.

Draconic Mana Manipulation had the effect of being able to convert any of his normal skills into Draconic Variants.

But if I do that, won’t I be unable to use the skill like normal? Rael asked.

[Are you going to be a pussy when it comes down to it? Why did I even bother…] Burger trailed off. [This is your only chance of actually doing something, so do it.]

Hearing that, Rael hesitantly selected his Neuroweb skill and dragged it toward the Draconic Mana Manipulation interface.

He felt like he had grown slightly weaker, but shortly after, a column of pop-ups appeared.

<You have evolved a skill!>

<Neuroweb (Ancient) → Draconic Neuroweb (Runic)>

<Ding!>

Draconic Neuroweb [Level 100 | MAX] (Runic)

—A forbidden monarch-tier skill that weaves psychic threads into enemy minds, enabling control, shared pain, and total domination. Draconic Variant.

Effect:

Enemies within 1km → 10km have a 5% → 25% chance per second to become Threaded, reducing Willpower by 4% → 10%/sec. Threaded targets form a psychic network, sharing debuffs and damage at 35% → 50% efficiency (Max Links: Infinite).

Synaptic Hijack: Control a Threaded target for 25s → 120s. Automatically applies Dragon’s Fear upon cast.

Cost: 25 DF per target. | CD: 0s

Neural Collapse: Snap all threads, dealing 20,000,000 → 200,000,000 + 24,000% → 96,000% Willpower as Draconic Mental Damage.

Cost: 100 DF

Cognitive Override: Mark 1 person to become a Thrall (up to 500 levels → 1 Grade higher), and control their mind for 24 hours.

Cost: 500 DF

Throne of Synapse: Become a neural nexus for 560s, automatically Threading all enemies within 1,200m → 5,000m. (NEW) If used while in Full Dragon Transformation, you automatically snap the threads of all those within 5,000m every 5 seconds.

Cost: 1,000 DF

“…”

I really should’ve done this sooner.

[You think?] Burger scoffed. [The amount of damage you’ll be able to deal now is much higher than you’ve ever dealt. However, I want you to try something.]

Rael was about to nod when he noticed Solenne had vanished.

And in the next moment, he saw that two seconds later, his vision would turn completely dark.

He wasn’t sure what the source of the attack was, but he didn’t want to find out.

Rael took one step forward, and in an instant, he appeared over 6,000 kilometers away, causing a massive shockwave to spread through the air, parting the clouds.

Even he was surprised at his speed.

Of course, being 100,000,000% faster than a normal human had its perks, and in the grand scheme of things, traveling 1/25th of the world in one step was just child’s play.

Because of that, however, he was no longer on the Dralgur Continent, but at least his Mind Realm Domain followed after him.

Instead, he was above a snowy continent, which was likely the Erobi Continent, where there was nothing but frost as far as the eye could see.

Rael had managed to avert his death, and moments later, Solenne had reappeared in front of him, then whistled.

“Had I not gotten Alcetas out of here, you would’ve killed him pretty easily,” Solenne remarked, then took a step closer, a wide smile on her face. “Since you put in all this effort, I will play with you. But after I am done, you will be mine, Rael.”

A shiver ran down Rael’s spine as he held the Supreme Blade tightly, while also preparing to cast one of his Mind attacks on her.

But before he could, Burger stopped him.

[Listen carefully. There is one attack you might be able to do, and it is the reason why I told you to convert that skill into the Draconic Variant,] Burger said.

Rael’s brows furrowed. I’m listening.

A moment of silence ensued, but then Burger spoke.

[Alright, you need to…]
