Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 403: For the Fishies

Chapter 403: For the Fishies

[What do you even need the Law of Water for?] Burger asked, puzzled. [It’s not like you have any water-based… god damn it.]

Rael nodded with a sly smirk. My fishies are pretty useful. Now imagine if I could make all 100,000 fish swarm out and actually deal damage?

Sure, he was coming up with a bit of a bullshit reason, but he wanted to try something.

And that certain something included him having to buy both of those Law imprints at once.

Therefore, that was exactly what Rael did.

• Law of Fire Imprint: 150 Premium Coins

• Law of Water Imprint: 150 Premium Coins

<Ding!>

<Ding!>

Rael smiled, but he didn’t pick anything just yet. Instead, he headed over to another perk he hadn’t used in quite some time.

“Holy shit…” Rael muttered, his hand trembling.

It was a test. A very expensive test.

He had assumed most abilities that he would get fell into the category of skills, so because of that, Premium Fusion made something like this possible.

Of course, he really wished he had some way of getting an upgrade on his Fusion skill so he could combine more than 2 skills at a time, but alas, he had to work with what he got.

And this was exactly what he was going to work with now.

<Ding!>

<…>

Rael felt strength zap out of his body, and for a moment, he staggered forward.

However, he had nothing to worry about. After all, everyone who was here a few days ago had left or died.

As for the monsters, Rael had killed most of them already. At least, he couldn’t find any more here.

Therefore, he patiently waited, until eventually, a surprising pop-up appeared in front of him, one that he hadn’t expected to see.

<Ding!>

“You fucking scammers…” Rael mumbled.

This was one of those crossroads situations.

He could either pick an inferior Law and walk away like a good boy, or get something much better for a steep price of 250 Premium Coins.

It was like dangling a carrot in front of a—

[Heh… All of that for you to get some average Law,] Burger chimed in. [You should’ve just taken the Law of Frozen Lightning. It didn’t sound half bad.]

It was almost like Burger was purposefully trying to rub salt in Rael’s wound.

You know what? I believe I’m going to get something good here. Plus, Law of Frozen Lightning isn’t a normal Law, right? I’m sure this one won’t be normal either.

[Anything that is abnormal falls in the Unique category. Frozen Lightning is unique because it’s a combination between two Laws that normally do not mix,] Burger explained flatly. [Yes, you’ll get a Unique Law, but odds are, it’s going to be a jumbled-up mess. Good luck, though.]

Rael’s expression darkened, and while he was waiting, he decided to get a move on.

He began running in the direction of the capital, Indra. Of course, because of his stats, he was pretty fast, so it only took him two seconds to get out of the outskirts of the Hollow Kingdom.

The desolate terrain vanished, replaced by beautiful grass and many trees. There was even a river in front of him.

He glanced at the map and realized that this river practically flowed through the entire continent but stopped near the mountains.

Aside from that, Rael was prepared to continue forward. However, before he could even take a step, he felt a surge of heat swell up in his heart, causing him to fall to the ground, completely out of breath.

His HP wasn’t going down, but for safety reasons, he sped up his heart rate. Thankfully, that warm feeling went away, but what followed was a scorching pain on his right forearm, which nearly made him black out.

But he didn’t. Instead, he wobbled over to a nearby rock and brought his hand down onto it.

He expected to be pierced like in the movies, but instead…

—BOOOOOOOM!

A crater formed by complete accident, slightly altering the flow of the river beside him and causing a small lake to form.

Rather, the lake wasn’t as small as he expected. It spanned nearly 2 kilometers in width and began filling up.

Huh… well… maybe they’ll like the lake? Rael thought, his brow twitching. From what I can see… there wasn’t really a lake on the map before so… yeah, it’s fine.

It wasn’t fine.

But he could pin the blame on mother nature. After all, he had a more pressing matter to deal with.

<Ding!>

He pressed “Yes” without even wasting a second, and in the next instant, his forearm began tingling.

Rael finally glanced at it, and the moment he did, he spotted some strange white symbol. It looked like a white ball, but it was clearly radiating some sort of fiery energy. He could only assume that was Plasma.

But if he really did unlock some kind of Plasma manipulation Law, then…

1. You may create a Plasma Core (???) once every 31 days.

2. You may transform any Fire, Water, Lightning, or Ice-related skills/abilities into the [Plasma] Variant.

3. Plasma-Based Damage is increased by +25%
