Chapter 619: Returning To Celestara
When the nanny courses were over, the three of them stood in a circle, staring at each other.
“Must you really go with us?” Anastasia complained.
Vatyra tilted her head. “Hm? What do you mean? Are you saying that I should go back the way I came from because I can, but won’t since I want to tease you and piss you off further? No? Why would I do that?”
Anastasia’s brows twitched uncontrollably, but before all else, a blue portal suddenly appeared in the very center, finally giving Rael’s anxiousness a pat on the back.
It really was over, and for that, Rael could put his mind at ease.
“I’ll go first,” Rael said, and then stepped through the portal.
There were no special sensations this time around, as he simply reappeared on the other side.
The other side, of course, was the heart of Celestara, the city’s center where, although there were way fewer people, there were still plenty.

None of whom he recognized though.
“It’s Rael Sutekh!”
“He’s the main antagonist! Guys, form a raid group with me! Right. Now!”
“Amitabha…”
Except for the Buddhist, everything seemed normal.
It was strange having everyone remember him again.
Though, if everyone really meant everyone, then…
[Hello?]
A familiar voice rang out inside his head.
Although it had been nearly 1000 years since he last heard it, he knew exactly who the voice belonged to.
Alune?
[Aha! You remember me,] she replied with a sigh. [I’m sorry for not remembering you. The memories flooded back into me only recently… It’s a lot to take in. During that time, I couldn’t even feel my connection to you, so I couldn’t really reach out either.]
She was just making excuses at this point.
You don’t have to apologize for something you couldn’t control. Also, can you pass along an apology from me to your father? I pissed him off quite a lot recently, Rael said.
Hearing that, Alune let out a soft chuckle.
[I heard about that. Apparently, he was planning to kill you if you failed to become the next Hollow King. Though, he stopped that thought the moment the memories came back as well.]
I see…
He felt a little awkward.
Like, how was he supposed to have a normal conversation with her when the last time they spoke was nearly 1,000 years ago?
For her, it might not have been that long, only 6 months or so.
But for him…
[I sense your unease, and I don’t want to overwhelm you,] Alune said quietly. [I know what you’re seeking since I saw it in a vision. I believe I can help you get it.]
Rael was confused, so he tilted his head at her words.
Seeing that, she continued:
[You want to go to the Far Lands, isn’t that right? You want to regain your memories, but in doing so, you would have to enter a realm that’s far higher than your current self’s power can sustain. I can help you with that.]
It seemed like she knew about the body problem.
What she also seemed to know was that if he wanted to enter the Far Lands that were prohibited by the Supreme Monsters, then he’d need to pull some kind of generational escape to slip into that realm.
After all, the last time he accidentally went into that realm, Zarkul dragged him back and beat the shit out of him.
So now, Rael was a little curious what the game plan was.
[Sometimes, father and I take a walk into the Far Lands to freshen our minds. The next walk is only in six months or so. I’ll hide you inside of me if you want to tag along unnoticed,] Alune said.
What.
Y-You’ll hide me inside you? Could you elaborate a little?
She didn’t mean what he thought she meant, right?
[Huh? Don’t get the wrong idea, you wouldn’t fit there. A-Anyway, I have a special skill that lets me hide someone inside my hair. You’d become a hairpin of mine, and then, when the time is right, you’ll just pop out of my hairpin and go wherever you want,] Alune replied, slightly flustered.
Yeah, his thoughts about where he could hide were a bit naughty, but it was all in good faith.
Of course it was, Rael was married.
Coughing once, Rael nodded.
I’ll take you up on that offer then. Though, I wonder if I’ll even have six months. Lucien and the others might attack soon.
[Hmm? If a higher being is damaged, they take years to recover. He won’t bother you for at least two more years. Six years might be the upper limit, but I’d say anywhere in between is a good estimate of when the attacks would really start,] Alune answered.
That made sense, but also, since Lucien mentioned some people would come around and pay him a visit, he could only assume he was referring to some idiots like the twelve heroes.
According to the Rael he spoke with in the Memory Record, in a few years’ time, he was able to one-tap them, even though they were Grade 6.
I guess that doesn’t seem too far-fetched when I can get billions of stat points in less than a week. I’ll spend my time powering up heavily until then, Rael decided, and then finally agreed to Alune’s proposal.
I accept. I’ll follow you along. Of course, if I find a way to get there faster, then I’ll tell you in advance.
After all, with his massive increases in strength, he was sure that even the Supreme Monsters wouldn’t be able to deal him much damage in less than a month.
Still, Rael didn’t let the stats get to his head, as all they would do was make sure he wouldn’t get killed in one hit.
The law masteries and experiences most of those people built up were no joke, after all.
But for now, his plan was to spend some time with those he cared about, and after that…
I’ll have to grab Burger and pay a visit to the Dragon Realm.
