Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 721: The Small Hut

Chapter 721: The Small Hut

Rael continued to mock her for the next 10 minutes, until eventually, she brought herself to the topmost step and finally relaxed as all the pressure suddenly vanished.

She fell to the ground and began to gasp, her mana seemingly all but drained.

Obviously, he wasn’t as messed up as she was.

But even so, since both of them could do it, then that was just perfect.

Rael glanced at the spatial crack behind him and felt a little intimidated by the mana.

However, he also remembered that Burger was inside of there, so whether he liked it or not, he had to get his ass up in there.

“Are you good?” Rael asked, crouching down beside her.

She raised her head, slightly annoyed.

It seemed like she wanted to strangle him.

But she held back and only smiled before finally standing up.

Dusting herself off, she approached the spatial crack, then glanced back at Rael.

“From this point on, don’t make any rash decisions or recklessly use your mana.”

Rael rolled his eyes.

“Don’t worry, I won’t be reckless. I’ll follow your lead since you’re oh so very experienced.”

Her brows twitched.

“You know all my knowledge comes from foresight. In the same manner, I knew you would come and seek me out today.”

“It didn’t seem like it when I met you,” Rael replied with a shrug. “But I don’t really care either. Let’s go free your future husband or something.”

[Damn, is it too late to back out now?] Burger chimed in.

Since Rael knew Burger would just go on a rant about how great and perfect he was, he decided to ignore Burger, and without hesitation, stepped straight into the spatial crack ahead.

Yet instead of being some unstable wormhole, it was as though Rael had just stepped through a door, as the sight ahead made his eyes widen.

There was a massive kingdom with several islands floating in the blue sky surrounding it.

Each island seemed to house a sort of element, whether it was fire, water, or whatever Burger was.

Furthermore, the world seemed nearly endless, and if he looked carefully enough, Rael could see a few more kingdoms and even more floating islands.

It was a utopia of sorts.

Anyhow, once Victoria stepped through and admired the sight ahead, Rael went ahead and turned to Burger.

Are you on one of those floating islands?

[Indeed. Though I am nowhere near the beginner areas. I can do what that tree woman did. Look.]

In the next instant, a wonky arrow appeared overhead and pointed straight north.

So uhh… just how far are you? Rael asked.

[Pretty far. Just keep going straight as fast as you can,] Burger replied.

Rael wasn’t really reassured.

But then again, when it came to Burger, stuff like this really pissed him off.

After all, even though Victoria told him not to use his mana haphazardly… there was something Rael had in mind anyway.

Can’t you just give me the coordinates? I should be able to teleport to you.

[Oh.]

[I suppose that’s an option.]

Without wasting any time, Burger began relaying the coordinates to Rael.

Just then, Victoria tapped his shoulder.

“Do you know where we have to go?”

Rael smiled at her.

“Yep. I’ll create a portal to his location. Can you somehow mask us?” he asked.

Her brows twitched repeatedly.

It was almost as if she was pissed at him because he didn’t listen to her.

But even so, she nodded at him.

“I can… Though, you should know this comes with risks.”

Rael glanced straight in her eyes and said:

“Astaroth just told me loud women who speak a lot aren’t very attractive.”

“Oh… Sorry.”

[Huh?]

[What are you saying!?] Burger lashed out. [You dare use my name and spout such… such… The loud women part is true. I don’t hate women who speak a lot though.]

“…”

[…]

Rael once again went with the route of ignoring Burger.

He enjoyed the silence while it lasted and closed his eyes before focusing on the coordinates Burger had given him.

If he put the coordinates to regular scale, it would be the equivalent of having to travel across 1,000 galaxies, which, by default, would take a metric ton of time.

And so being able to teleport was simply the best thing that could’ve graced Rael’s Law mastery.

A faint smile appeared on his face as he finally locked onto the spot Burger told him about.

He gestured at Victoria, and with a silent nod, she covered the two of them in some sort of transparent mana barrier.

That was when a faint portal began forming in front of Rael, zapping away his mana at an alarming rate.

But since he had an infinite amount as long as he restored it properly, Rael kept it up until finally, the portal was the size of both of them side by side.

Obviously, they could cross one way, but wouldn’t they also need to cross the other way back?

Rael’s head hurt at the lack of knowledge he had about this place, but if push comes to shove, he might just go ahead and buy some item from the Premium Shop.

Nonetheless, once the portal was big enough, Rael stepped through it.

This time around, he felt like he was being burned, then frozen, drowned… It was as if he was passing through dozens of different elements.

And ultimately, once Rael’s vision returned, he was met with the sight of a beautiful and well-kept floating island.

It was far bigger than the ones he had seen, but its trees, grass, and even a few rocks were pitch black or silver in color.

Basically, it was a rather trippy area.

Rael glanced around for a moment, yet he couldn’t see anyone.

That was until he caught sight of a small wooden hut near a cave.

The doors were slightly open, and what fed the cringe factor even more was the fact that the doorknob was made from a dragon tooth.

Of course, the one living in that small shack was none other than Burger himself.
