Chapter 746: Olympus

“You tricked me.”

Nyx scoffed.

“Don’t be a dumbass. You saw all my memories several times, and yet you still don’t believe them.”

“No, I don’t mean that. You told me our friends are the same. I saw you talk to Artemis and Hermes. They are not the same.”

“Yes, they are, doofus,” Nyx replied, facepalming. “You think just because Artemis doesn’t rub her temple when she’s mad, and Hermes doesn’t ogle my breasts, they’re different? No. They aren’t. I made sure of that with the several soul checks I’ve done, and you’ve seen them too.”

Oho.

That sounded spooky.

As if reading Rael’s mind, Nyx suddenly turned toward him and wiggled her finger for him to approach.

Rael felt like a dog at the moment.

The first handsome chihuahua.

“Yes?”

“Can you attest that what I’m saying is the truth?” Nyx asked seriously.

Rael paused for a moment, then nodded.

“Sure.”

He turned to Rei.

“Everything she said so far has been the truth.”

The two of them locked eyes again, and Rael felt like it was getting a little repetitive, so he decided to be blunt.

“While I don’t want to burst your bubble, don’t you think you’re better off actually seeing them for yourself?”

Just then, Rael reached into his inventory and pulled out the key to this whole dungeon.

“See? If you’re unsatisfied with what you see, I’ll take you back in here and you can continue wasting your life away.”

“Hear that?” Nyx chimed in. “Enough being a hard-ass, come.”

Before Rael could react, Nyx snatched the key out of his hands and twisted it in the air, immediately opening a portal back to the Dragon Realm.

Did that mean this strange civilization was connected to the dungeon?

Anyhow, Rei didn’t even have a chance to refuse before Nyx grabbed her by the hair and tossed her through the portal.

Rael thought he had escaped that fate.

Alas…

She grabbed him by the scruff and tossed him through as well.

Once the three of them were back in the Dragon Realm, Rei seemed overly anxious, glancing around repeatedly, until finally glancing at Nyx.

“I-Idiot. What do you think you’re doing? I didn’t ask for this!”

“Shut up already,” Nyx replied, and then snapped her fingers, causing another portal to manifest.

It was a little wobblier than the other one, but that was likely because she opened a portal to somewhere very far away.

After tossing Rei through this portal as well, she glanced back at Rael.

“Do you want to accompany me here as well?”

Rael subtly glanced past her, and his eyes immediately widened.

“The fuck… Is that Olympus?”

It was an unnaturally large mountain way beyond the clouds. Hundreds, if not thousands, of golden palaces were scattered all around, including marble halls and really clear skies.

There were dozens of golden lights stemming from seemingly nowhere, and the only time he saw something this accurate was in those hentai games where you’d need to bang all of Olympus.

Or so Rael was told.

Either way, the hentai developers knew what they were talking about, at least.

“It’s indeed Olympus. The Ancient Gods are all there, including Zeus. You can meet him if you’d like, though I don’t promise he won’t be a massive asshole.”

“I’ll pass on meeting him, but I don’t mind visiting this place. It looks pretty cool.”

And it was definitely a place he would teleport to later.

Anyhow, getting her approval, Rael stepped through the portal, arriving on the other side.

As expected, the pressure and gravity here were nothing like he had ever felt before, which reminded him of the myths which said no mortal could ever reach this place.

Though it did smell like booze in here, amongst many other things…

“Keep your head on straight. Look around, but don’t talk to anybody. These people would probably invite you to an orgy, and knowing you, you might join,” Nyx said, patting his back.

Rael raised a brow.

“You know I’m married, right?”

“Did that stop you from groping and nearly sleeping with the demon girl?” Nyx asked.

“Dude… She’s also my wife, you know?” Rael retorted, then narrowed his eyes. “You looked that far into my memories? Are you that bored?”

She just shrugged in response and, after glancing around, found Rei huddled up behind one of the pillars, climbing it slightly like a particular spider superhero.

“Rei… Get your ass down here now.”

At times like these, Nyx really did seem like an older sister.

And since Rei was slightly threatened by the chain of events, she listened and got down.

Just like that, the three of them began walking in silence through the multiple sectors of Olympus.

It was a pretty nice-looking place, in all honesty.

The only problem was that these people were drinking and doing lewd things out in the open.

Did Zeus put something in the wine?

Eh…

At least according to mythology, most of these sex-craved fiends were just the lower gods. The actual gods of Olympus had a little more self-respect than that.

And speaking of which, the three of them ultimately arrived at a beautiful garden and spotted a woman with long blue hair tending to some flowers.

It didn’t take long for her to spot them as well.

Her blue eyes scanned all three of them, lingering on Rei for the longest amount of time.

As for Rael, he was basically invisible.

She was pretty damn strong.

“My… I didn’t expect the visit, Nyx. Last time you were here, you tried to deflower me.”

Nyx’s brow twitched.

“Don’t say it like that. I only tried to give you some alcohol.”

“And then deflower me?”

“Forget it…” Nyx grumbled, giving up as she pointed at the stunned Rei.

“Recognize her?”

Artemis stared at Rei for a moment, then let out a sigh.

“Of course I do… Troublemaker.”
