“I’m going to go grab a drink. Does this world have any powerful fighters?”

Evelyn scoffed.

She narrowed her eyes.

“Didn’t I tell you drinking helps me?”

“And I’m saying if you want a free ice cream shop, you cut that shit out,” Rael replied coldly.

Obviously, she was old enough to do whatever she wanted.

Hell, Rael couldn’t give a shit either way.

However, when Uriel was around the house and smelled constant booze from Evelyn, Rael couldn’t help but be left with a simple ultimatum.

She either gets out, or fixes her bad habit then and there.

And although he was somewhat expecting her to refuse, Evelyn just clicked her tongue and slowly nodded.

“And you’ll stop drinking?” Rael asked, raising his brow.

Huh.

She actually wasn’t lying.

Perhaps she was just waiting for some excuse to finally stop drinking?

After all, more company was always best.

So with that in mind, Rael finished the rest of his food and escorted Evelyn outside. Honestly, even though she showered and changed clothes, she still had this weird aura of booze around her.

Then again, Rael radiated his excellence in the form of money too. That was probably why people avoided him.

Anyhow, since Rael was pretty damn influential, all he had to do was walk down the street and find a random shop that seemed big enough.

Then, when he stepped inside, the store owner, who seemed to be a middle-aged man, immediately bowed at Rael.

“Greetings, your Majesty.”

It had been a while since someone actually called him that.

If anything, he was kind of relieved people still remembered him. After all, he couldn’t remember the last time he showed his face and said something.

“Sup. Would you be interested in selling this store to us?” Rael asked, then pointed at Evelyn. “More specifically, she wants to turn it into an ice cream shop.”

The old man seemed a little confused about what ice cream was, but then again, at the mention of being bought out by the king himself, the store owner couldn’t have been more excited.
