Capítulo 802: Gathering
Rael shrugged and decided to give her the benefit of doubt.
Afterwards, he approached the tattered shoe and infused his mana into it. In the next instant, Rael spotted a clear trace leading to the perpetrator.
Obviously, all he needed to do was just use his Law of Fate to connect a fate thread to whomever this shoe belonged to.
Anyhow…
“Follow me.”
Rael didn’t wait for her to reply as he walked out of the basement, then left the inn. As much as he had hoped Arthur was here in Celestara, truthfully, he wasn’t anywhere near.
Actually, he wasn’t even on this continent, but on the snow biome continent where Solenne and Rael had landed while fighting.
What could he even be doing there?
Rael slowly flew up to the top of Celestara’s crater, and when he stood in front of the mechanical elevators that actually worked now because of the dwarves, he glanced over to Linlin, who had just landed beside him.
“Do you want to call Qiqi?”
Linlin thought it over for a moment, then nodded.
“I’ll message her.”
She began tapping the air, and soon enough…
<Ding!>
Again?
Oh.
Rael was in this group, but after everything was wiped, it seemed like he had never rejoined it.
Then again, it wasn’t like he ever looked, since he had muted all the notifications from that group.
Anyhow, he went ahead and joined the group.
<Ding!>
Seeing the Boop come in, Rael was prepared to mute the chat again.
After all, the last time a Boop descended, the chat was spammed with Boops for nearly four hours straight.
But thankfully…
The chat fell silent for a moment.
But this time around, Rael felt like he was the one to break the silence.
The moment he said that, a powerful mana blast was shot off at the other end of the continent. It seemed like it was in Yrgon. Regardless of that, Rael focused on that exact place and opened a portal from here to there.
And just a few seconds later, the first person came through.
That person was none other than Qiqi, who stared at Rael for a moment, then ran in and hugged him tightly.
Out of all people, he had expected her to not like him as much, but clearly, the one time he had saved her life in the past, she seemed to have taken a liking to him.
He was glad.
“Hmph. Getting ahold of you is pretty hard,” Qiqi pouted. “My sister tried to call you several times, but you never checked any of the messages she sent. Either you’re lazy, or you’re a lazy womanizer.”
Before Rael could reply, Linlin walked up to the two of them and bonked Qiqi over the head. Then, after separating Qiqi from Rael, she quickly apologized:
“I’m sorry for her behavior. Ever since this continent became a bit more peaceful, she’s become more rebellious.”
Rael let out a chuckle, and then felt another surge of mana. Opening a portal quickly, another figure stepped through.
This time, it was Dax.
The 30-year-old dwarf who looked like a literal child.
“Why are you looking at me like that? Is something on my face?”
“Mm… I just think growing out your hair like that won’t make you look any older.”
Dax’s brow twitched.
“Fucking bastard… If you were a little weaker, I’d beat the shit out of you.”
“Strong against the weak, weak against the strong? As expected of a dwarf.”
At those words, Dax began trying to pummel Rael, and all the while, Rael waited for more mana surges to come through.
He was kind of expecting the whole group to gather together, but…
There was still Sophia Ash, as well as a couple others he hadn’t met yet, but it seemed like they weren’t going to participate.
And when Rael was finally prepared to leave, he felt a surge of mana from very far away. It was still on this planet, but it was easily on the other side. It likely took that long for him to notice because of how far away it was.
Regardless of that, Rael opened a portal to that location, and soon enough, another figure stepped through.
It was a classy-looking woman with a crystal rapier around her waist. She had black hair and blue eyes that didn’t seem to really match the rest of her demeanor.
That demeanor being…
“Hello there~”
She smiled at Linlin.
“Did you think it was funny to time me out, Miss Linlin? Remind me, because I forget… But who was it that funded your organization when it first started out, hm?”
Linlin flinched, but didn’t say a word.
This woman, of course, was none other than Sophia.
The person who had first started all this Boop nonsense.
As much as Rael wanted to blame her, all he could do was exhale and catch their attention.
“We’ll be teleporting over to Arthur in a few seconds. If you need to, go to the shitter now. I doubt you’ll be able to go in that place.”
No one said a word.
Clearly, they were ready.
Though, Sophia was staring at him pretty intensely.
If he didn’t know any better, he’d think she had some kind of question she wanted to ask him.
But oh well…
“In that case, let’s leave right away, shall we?”
