Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 803 803: Finding Arthur

With those words, Rael didn’t hesitate to cover every single person present in his mana and then abruptly teleport them to the snow continent.

The teleportation was a bit rough since he had never teleported this many people at once, but since everyone arrived intact and with their clothes, Rael thought of it as a big win.

At least partially.

“Jeez… I’m freezing my balls off,” Dax said.

And as if pre-firing Rael’s insult, he added:

“Despite my size, my balls are quite medium-sized.”

“Medium-sized for your size?” Rael raised a brow.

A sharp killing intent hit Rael the next moment, but he ignored it.

Instead, he glanced around the snow continent.

Lo and behold, there was snow.

Wow.

Although he didn’t expect there to be anyone living here for the most part, he was surprised to see several dozen ice structures, whether towers, spires, or even some buildings. There was quite a lot of stuff here.

Not to mention, Rael felt a bunch of mana around here. Some of that mana belonged to Arthur too.

“Is this really it?” Linlin asked. “I can’t help but feel like this isn’t a very ideal place for someone to hide.”

Rael rolled his eyes.

“That’s precisely why he’s hiding here. Because you’d never really look here.”

It really was that simple.

Sophia approached Rael and tapped his shoulder.

“Dear, could you spare me a coat?”

“Are you cold?”

“Freezing…”

Rael sighed at her words, and because of the respect he had for everyone here, he decided to get each one of them a winter coat. It would also self-heat, so they would never get cold.

Qiqi was the most excited of the bunch.

“Hehe. I look like a gangster.”

“Don’t say that. Maintain your manners,” Linlin scolded.

It didn’t look like she would.

Anyhow…

“Follow me. He shouldn’t be too far.”

Rael led the way forward. The ice was very slippery at first, but the closer he got to the ice structures, the harder the ice got. It was to the point where Rael felt like he was standing on literal concrete rather than ice.

And to his surprise, once he got close enough to one of those ice towers, the ice beneath him suddenly cracked. Instead of falling down into some pit, however, he was met with a giant monster double the size of a whale, which burst forth from the ground and tried to swallow them whole.

It was quite ironic, to be honest.

The monster was actually not half bad either. It was around level 800 in strength. For this world, and especially this continent, it was like an apex predator.

But to Rael, who could sneeze this being’s existence away, it looked very pitiful.

And so, before any of the Radiant Dawn members could make a move, Rael snapped his fingers, literally erasing the weak being from existence with the help of his Law of Infinity.

When it disappeared, a gaping hole was left in the ice below, but Rael didn’t panic in the slightest as he just grabbed everyone with his mana and flew back up, landing slightly outside the hole.

“That was close,” Rael overexaggerated.

“Mmm… I heard of this creature before,” Sophia said. “I only saw it briefly, but I believe it’s called the Snow Leviathan. It uses its mucus to create powerful barriers that resemble ice. Once prey walks onto its barrier, it swoops in and kills it.”

Ah.

So they were walking on its mucus this entire time, huh?

No wonder it was so hard.

Still, as Rael glanced down into the hole the leviathan made, he saw a few caves down below, and he knew for a fact that they most likely belonged to Arthur.

So with that in mind, Rael pointed at the caves and then slowly flew down there. Thankfully, the others also somewhat knew how to fly, so they followed him. In the end, once they reached one of the caves, Rael decided to drop his detective act and just scan the whole continent for Arthur.

He left a bunch of traces. It was kind of impressive how careful he was.

But it only took Rael a single second to locate him. He was in the cave literally in front of them. Rather, he was hiding in one of the walls.

Regardless of that, Rael hummed to himself and walked forward. The others once again followed after him. Just a few minutes later, Rael stopped in front of a seemingly ordinary-looking wall and tapped his hand on it.

To the surprise of the Radiant Dawn members, the wall was actually an illusion, so Rael’s hand went through. But soon enough, Rael went through as well.

And as expected, Rael saw a whole living room in front of him, coupled with a few tabletop games, as well as a bedroom at the very end of the living room.

Behind the door, Rael could feel Arthur’s presence. Judging by how unstable his mana had gotten, Arthur had realized someone had found him too.

Though…

“He’s here…” Linlin mumbled, her expression turning cold. “He’s really here.”

Unlike Linlin, who was a little stunned, Dax didn’t feel the same way.

He approached the door where Arthur had been hiding and tried to open it. The door was surprisingly sturdy, and Rael realized that the more mana someone used to try prying open that door, the more it would absorb and push them back.

But what kind of shitty design was this?

Rael approached the door, and although he could easily break it if he wanted to, Rael just decided to punch the wall around the door, shattering it effortlessly and revealing a large hole that led straight into Arthur’s room.

As for the door, it pathetically fell onto the ground and shattered.

Just like that, the room where Arthur was had been revealed.

As for Arthur himself, he just stood there, rooted in place.

And once he saw just who had found him, he knew he was fucked.
