Soon enough, the two of them reappeared in the exact same gladiator arena as before. Except this time, there actually were spectators.
Though, they weren’t exactly human.
Instead, there were just a few hundred cardboard cutouts of different kinds of celebrities. Rael didn’t recognize most of them, but there were a few from Earth that he recognized, much like one person who looked like a rock.
Whoever did this really had no life. But then again, life or not, at least they had a sense of humor.
Sadly, they didn’t make a king. Despite that, Rael fiddled around with his sword, and after the one minute was up, the giant gate opened.
Unlike the cat last time, there was a giant deer in front of him. It had small purple antlers, and just staring at them from here, Rael felt like those antlers contained a great deal of mana, if not all the mana that deer had.
And once the deer vanished from sight, Rael didn’t hesitate to use his future sight alongside his Prophetic Realm to his full advantage. Dodging the thrust of the deer, Rael reappeared above it.
The deer was a little surprised by Rael’s quick movement, but despite that, it could still very easily react to him.
And just like the cat, it had a special move. This time, it didn’t go into the Mirror Realm. Instead, the deer went ahead and lit up its antlers, causing an enormous amount of pressure to descend onto Rael.
But sadly for the deer, Rael was not only prepared, but he had also made a plan with Nyx.
Speaking of Nyx, she finally decided to chime in.
While the deer was still in an uncomfortable position, Nyx went ahead and threw her spear as though it was a javelin.
The deer reacted instantly and dashed backward.
For a moment, the deer was safe.
Or so that was what the deer thought, until Rael suddenly slashed his sword in an arc, using the full brunt of all that gravity increase to boost the shit out of his attack.
And naturally, with a boost this large, the damage was amplified by at least four times.
-322! Critical Hit!
-11! Bleed!
For some reason, he wasn’t able to immediately kill the deer. Instead, the deer’s neck hung on by a thin thread as the deer tried to escape backward. However, the damage was already done, and with Nyx’s attack still in motion, before the deer could even use its gravity manipulation, the spear shot straight through the very center of its forehead.
And as expected, that hit was enough to finish it off completely as it fell to the floor lifelessly.
Not only that…

“Oh shit? Level 39 already?” Rael wondered out loud. “This is pretty big… So a Level 35 boss gives 100,000 experience. You got 33,000, right Nyx?”
She nodded.
“Yes. I’m pretty much level 35 now.”
Rael hummed, realizing that this might actually be better than he was expecting. However, there was one thing that pissed him off a little.
“Why wasn’t I able to instantly kill it? I hit it in the vitals, and… oh.”
It didn’t take him long to remember one of the skills he had before. Rather, he still had it, but it just wasn’t that useful anymore, since whenever he died, the only way that happened was if someone literally deatomized him.
That skill in question was none other than…
<Boss Monster Property: You are only killed if your HP drops to 0! Attacks to your vitals no longer instantly kill you!>
It was basically on 1 HP after my hit. Nyx finished it off. She did the same last time too. The cat didn’t die from one attack, and she needed to finish it off with fire. Well… I guess that makes it a little easier now to share the boss, since even if we hit it with a world-ending attack, there’s a slight chance it might live.
Speaking of, that kind of made Rael realize one thing.
That one time that Minos pretty much deatomized him, Rael remained alive. Was it because of this skill? He never really considered it that way, but it seemed like he had his luck to thank for that, rather than anything else.
Anyhow… Since Rael now knew how much experience these floors gave him, and just how easy it was, even while not using his Laws, Rael and Nyx decided to actually speed run it this time.
After all, Rael was sure that when they reach the 30th floor or maybe the 40th floor, they’d finally see people. In the end, that was the one thing Rael wanted at the moment.
But then again, fetching Renoir was also something he wanted to do, since with the three of them…
Actually, should he even fetch him?
If he did that, then these boss floors would only give them at most 1/3 of the possible experience. That way, they’d be much weaker than they should be. Right now, he was getting half with Nyx’s help anyway.
Hmm…
Rael decided to think over it a little longer, and finally, he gave Nyx a quick pat on the back and, after deciding to just dump the rest of his stats into the Ordinance stat, he swiftly went to the safe zone and alongside her entered the next boss floor.
