Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 889: Final Word?

Capítulo 889: Final Word?

After their short conversation, Rael and Gaia left their home galaxy and instead arrived at some cluster of planets very far away. The two of them descended into one of the planets, and although it was uninhabitable, it did have squishy ground, which made it a little fun to bounce around.

It was almost like a trampoline park, in a way. He had never been to a trampoline park before…

“Focus up, Rael… Jeez. You’re bouncing around like some child,” Gaia said while doing the same. Except she wasn’t that lucky, as her foot dug into the slime-like texture of the ground and buried her leg up to her knee.

She just stared at him while he was trying to hold back a laugh, until eventually she just went ahead and flew out of it and said:

“Let’s focus for real. Here, take a look.”

In the next instant, she took out the prison that she had stored Lucien inside of. She didn’t free him right away and instead allowed Rael to get a good look.

“I’m going to focus my mana into this thing, and then you’ll need to look around and see where that energy goes. Since you have the Law of Infinity, I believe you’ll do quite well in this regard.”

“If you say so,” Rael said with a shrug and freed himself too. Afterwards, he approached her and waited for her to do her thing. Time seemed to slow down when all of a sudden, Rael felt a small wisp of energy escape Gaia’s body.

He wasn’t sure if that was what he had to follow, but he did so anyway. Yet he was extremely surprised by how fast that wisp was moving, as even while infusing his consciousness with more and more Laws, he just barely managed to track that mana all the way to some remote planet several million galaxies away.

He marked the location in his mind and then returned his consciousness to Gaia’s location. She stared at him as if asking whether he managed to do it or not, and so he nodded, assuring her that he did.

She hummed.

“I didn’t expect it to only take you one try.”

Rael shrugged. “I’ve always been called special. I think that was because of my abilities.”

Maybe?

Well, special or not, Rael did do it in one go, and so, without even waiting for her to say anything, he slashed the air in front of himself, creating a portal leading directly to the area where he needed to be.

On the other side, though, Rael spotted a city. It resembled the Divine Realm somewhat. It was cool and all, but with the lack of people, it was nothing but an empty city.

Furthermore… Rael did some thinking while flying here, and he realized one very crucial detail. The final attack he cast on the High Tower likely continued to expand, and although only a fraction of a millisecond might’ve passed in that tower, Rael was sure the damage was extreme.

Not to mention, because of his attack, he managed to close all routes that led straight to the High Tower, which obviously meant no one could go back there again. Maybe no one could get out either?

Well, considering I needed to use my Law of Time to get out, I’m sure that shit is not too far-fetched. Anyhow… I don’t care about them anymore as it is Lucien’s time now.

With those thoughts, Rael stepped through the portal, and so did Gaia. The moment they arrived at the strange city, they were immediately met with an overwhelmingly large amount of mana.

However, it wasn’t mana actually belonging to anyone in particular. The mana was just a part of the city itself.

Rael closed his eyes and tried to sense what was below the city, but he wasn’t able to find anything too remarkable except for some bones and random trash.

Oh, and amongst those random trash items, he spotted a man huddled up underground, protected by several dozen barriers. Rael was really confused who that man was at first, until he realized that it resembled Lucien very much.

But when Rael looked back at the rest of the city, he also sensed Lucien’s body ahead of him in one of the palaces. Was he really that stupid to leave his copy underground, or was this really just some final measurement of his?

Huh.

“You sensed it too?” Gaia asked.

Rael nodded. “Odds are, he has a back-up plan for his back-up plan’s back-up plan. If I had to guess, there should be one more copy somewhere.”

She shrugged. “It doesn’t matter. You deal Comic Damage, so you’ll still be able to damage him even if you don’t destroy all of his copies.”

Rael raised a brow. “Well, but what if those copies don’t have equal stats? I’d be screwed if one of them has more HP than the one I kill.”

“Ah… Yeah, you’re right. Which is why I propose another idea. Make him some of your armor that increases HP by an amount that’s so high, he won’t ever be able to survive it.”

Oh?

“That’s actually not a bad idea,” Rael replied with a chuckle. “Yeah. We can do that.”

Gaia gave him a smile and then took the lead as she went to the palace up ahead, busted open its doors, and revealed a surprising sight. On a lone throne in the middle of the room, there was Lucien.

He was passed out, since his consciousness was still trapped in the prison Gaia had made for him.

But one thing was for certain… This was his real body.

Though, why did it seem so frail? He wasn’t weak by any means, but yeah… His body was that of a stick.

“Do you want to free him first?” Gaia asked.

Rael thought over it for a moment, then chuckled.

“I could name so many times where someone tried to get the final word in, but somebody else killed them. So no… I don’t care.”
