Capítulo 890: New Strongest
Gaia gave him a look of approval.
“That’s a good idea for once.”
Rael raised a brow. “For once? Do you mean to say I’ve never made a good idea before?”
“Heh. I’d rather not say,” Gaia replied and turned toward Lucien. “You should put some armor on him, then.”
Rael nodded and quickly made some armor using his Absolute Architect skill. It didn’t take long at all, and the main focus of that armor was just HP augmentation, to the point where if Rael put it on, he would probably reach Vitality Tier 90 worth of HP.
It was good, sure. But eh, he was immortal, so it didn’t really matter much.
Plus, my regeneration is way too overpowered for me to even care about armor. I don’t need it… unless it looks really cool.
Ahem.
Rael approached Lucien with the set of armor, and after lifting his frail body, Rael began sticking his limbs through the gaps and dressing him. After just a few minutes, he was done playing dress-up, and now, he had a fully geared Lucien in front of him.
It was a bit strange. Normally, he would love to give him the final words, since this guy pissed him off for so, so long. However, Rael just couldn’t bring himself to do so, as despite all of his power, Lucien was perhaps the being with the most versatility throughout the universe.
Inserting himself in some time… avoiding damage completely. It was just too overpowered in every sense.
And because of that, Rael just took a step back and took a bow out of his inventory. It was just some random bow he had made some time ago, and since it was pretty cool-looking, Rael had no qualms in using it.
As it so happened, he could focus the power of a whole universe at the tip of his arrow. So that was exactly what he had intended to do. Except, the moment he drew back his bow, Gaia tapped him on the shoulder, stopping him from continuing.
“While I don’t doubt that’s the best solution here, this realm is still within our universe. Your attack power is way too high for this universe, and I’m afraid that if you cast this, you’d make a black hole on the same scale as the universe. You will likely destroy the multiverse at that rate.”
Ah.
“So no Universal Collapsing attack?”
“No Universal Collapsing attack,” she assured him.
Rael pouted slightly and decided to go with just the regular attacks.
So, of course, the first thing Rael did was infuse the tip of his arrow with some Law of Destruction as well as Law of Plasma. He hesitated for a moment, but upon realizing what would happen if he actually let Lucien live, Rael released the bowstring, launching the arrow flying forward.
It pierced straight through the armor that Rael had made and embedded itself in the middle of Lucien’s chest. Rael didn’t see a damage number, but from the sheer fact that the copy he had seen under the city had just turned to dust, Rael knew he was on the right track.
So he cast a heal on Lucien, and then did the same thing, shooting the arrow in the same location over and over again. Obviously, Rael felt like he could just go ahead and shoot a few arrows and get it over and done with… but he knew for a fact that Lucien was the type of person who would do something similar, to the point where he would have near infinite HP.
Which was why, for the next five hours, Rael kept healing and shooting Lucien. He was sure he dealt nearly Vitality Grade 120 worth of damage by now, which would mean that even if he had similar equipment to what Rael had given him, coupled with Vitality Grade 100 HP, he would be dead several times over.
And so, for that reason alone, Rael healed Lucien one last time and finally decided to get it over with.
He nocked his arrow, and after counting to three, he released the arrow, sending it flying straight into Lucien’s forehead and killing him instantly.
How did he know that he killed him?
Well…
Oh?
No shit?
Rael let out a chuckle in surprise. He wasn’t expecting something like this to happen, but now that it did…
He felt a little empty.
All this struggle, all of this suffering… all of it was for this moment, where Rael just went ahead and killed his arch enemy without him being able to even fight back?
Was that really what Rael had been striving for all this time?
“Don’t you like being victorious for once?” Gaia asked from the side.
When he turned around, he saw her holding onto the prison she had made for Lucien, and then she shattered it. Lucien’s body fell from the prison, and once it hit the ground, it turned to ash.
He really was dead. Just this time, he was dead for real.
It was hard to believe.
Very hard that a being like that could die like this…
“I don’t know what to say, to be honest.” Rael glanced ahead. “Because of him and Solenne, my happiest years in life were ruined. To not even be able to slap him is just… fucking hell.”
“Well, you can try slapping Solenne, except I don’t think your son Uriel would enjoy it very much if his father went and slapped his wife.”
Wife?
“What?”
Gaia paused. “Whoops…?”
Rael’s brow twitched in realization. She was joking, right? There was no way he married that woman.
She was just seducing him… nothing more. Rael needed to save his son from the clutches of that vile beast.
B-But first, he was going to hop into the bath with his lovely wives.
Hehe.
