My Ultimate Sign-in System Made Me Invincible

Chapter 311: Sightseeing In Macau

Morning arrived quietly in Macau, and soft sunlight slipped through the panoramic windows of Liam's high-rise apartment. It painted the room in warm shades of gold, and the calm glow made the entire place feel peaceful.

Liam slowly opened his eyes and stretched slightly. The bed beneath him was large, soft and comfortable enough to make him want to stay in it forever. He pressed his palm into the mattress and let out a small laugh.

"This is getting too normal for me," he muttered as he sat up.

He swung his legs over the bed and walked to the window. The full view of Macau spread out beneath him like a living painting. Tall buildings stood packed together, roads twisted through them and distant bridges curved like thin lines across the sparkling water. The early morning sky was clear, bright and beautiful.

His apartment sat high above most of the city, in one of the tallest and most exclusive buildings in the region. Even among luxury properties, this place stood at the top. It wasn't the type of home one could buy with money alone. It required influence, reputation, and the right connections. Most people would see it as a sign of status.

But Liam stood before the windows with a calm expression, unaffected by the view or the prestige behind it. He enjoyed the comfort, but nothing here impressed him. Not anymore.

He placed a hand on the glass and spoke quietly to himself. "I'm becoming desensitized."

He smiled a little at his own words. It wasn't a sad thought. It was just the truth. After everything he had seen, everything he had done, everything he controlled and created... this world's wealth felt small.

Still, he appreciated the peace. And the view was nice.

He turned away from the window and walked toward the bathroom to clean up. The shower was warm and refreshing, and the steam relaxed his muscles. After washing his face and brushing his teeth, he stepped out of the bathroom feeling sharp and awake.

He left the bedroom and stepped into the living area. One of the maids, dressed neatly in a black and white uniform, stood waiting with a polite smile. She bowed slightly.

"Good morning, sir," she greeted in a soft and respectful tone.

"Good morning," Liam smiled and greeted back in a fluent Mandarin, with a natural and smooth pronunciation.

Of course he will flex his Universal Linguistics skill. You can't have such a godly skill and not flex it.

The maid's eyes widened just a little. She hadn't expected such clean Mandarin from him. She had been told she would be serving someone special, someone from a powerful background, but she assumed he would behave like most young masters, who are rude, careless and entitled. Instead, he spoke with her politely, with clear respect, and in her native language.

Her impression of him rose instantly.

"Breakfast is ready. Please follow me," she said with a warm smile.

Liam nodded and followed her into the dining room. The table was set cleanly, with simple decorations and plates arranged neatly. The two maids responsible for cooking stood nearby.

A fresh meal was laid out. Fried eggs, steamed buns, wontons, fresh fruits, dumplings, and a small plate of grilled vegetables. The aroma filled the room.

Liam sat down.

"Thank you," he said before he picked up his chopsticks.

The maids bowed slightly and stepped back to give him space. They were really surprised when he picked up the chopsticks accurately and started eating. They hadn't expected him to be able to use chopsticks. But now, they finally understood why the document had called him special.

Liam had no idea the thoughts going on in the maids' head, as he ate calmly, taking quiet bites while his mind moved through the plans for the day.

He thought about Macau. While known for casinos, the city had far more to offer if one wanted to explore. Hidden food stalls, quiet markets, old cultural sites, waterfront views, small alleyways full of life and color.

He tapped his chopsticks against the table lightly.

He already had a rough plan forming. He would explore the streets in the morning, visit the large tourist spots, see what made them so popular. In the afternoon, he would move toward the street food areas and try some of Macau's unique snacks. By evening, he would return to a casino for a few hours, earn a couple more millions without breaking a sweat.

And at night… he might try clubbing for the first time.

He had never done it. He wasn't sure if he would enjoy it or hate it, but he was curious. Maybe it would be interesting. Maybe not. But he was on vacation, and he wanted to try everything at least once.

He finished the last piece of bun and placed the chopsticks aside. He stood up and stretched his arms lightly.

"Thank you," he said to the maids again.

They bowed respectfully.

The head maid stepped forward. "Sir, are you leaving soon? Should I inform Mason and Nick?"

Liam smiled. "No need."

The head maid nodded.

He walked back to his bedroom, picked up a jacket, slipped it over his shoulders, and headed toward the main entrance.

Mason and Nick stood there already, wearing clean suits. The moment Liam appeared, both men straightened and greeted him respectfully.

"Good morning, sir."

"Good morning," Liam replied with a small smile.

Mason stepped forward to open the door, the both of them ready to follow Liam wherever he went. But before he could take another step, Liam raised a hand slightly.

"You two stay here and rest today. No need to follow me," he said.

Mason hesitated immediately. "Sir, we cannot let you go alone—"

Liam gave him a look. A small one, simple but firm.

Mason froze and he lowered his head. "Understood."

"Good. Enjoy the rest," Liam said gently, not unkindly.

He stepped into the hallway, walked toward the private elevator and pressed the button. The doors slid open quietly, and he stepped inside.

The lift descended smoothly, dropping through the floors until it reached the underground garage.

The elevator doors opened and right lights illuminated the large space, showing the rows of luxury cars that are waiting for him to choose from.

Liam stepped forward slowly, taking in the lineup. Rolls Royce Phantom. Bentley Continental GT. A bright red Ferrari. Mercedes-Maybach S680. Range Rover SV. A few more high-end machines parked beside them.

He took a breath.

"Too much," he said softly with a quiet laugh.

He stopped in front of the Range Rover SV. It looked comfortable, strong, simple and perfect for blending into Macau's busy traffic without drawing too much attention.

He touched the handle and the car unlocked instantly.

He opened the door, stepped inside, and settled into the driver's seat. The interior was clean and luxurious. The leather smelled fresh.

Obviously, it's a car that was just purchased—just like the others.

He started the engine and the soft rumble filled the space.

With one smooth movement, he pulled out of the parking spot and headed toward the exit ramp. The sensors opened the garage doors automatically.

Sunlight touched the windshield as he drove out onto Macau's streets.

Cars moved in steady lines and people walked across intersections. The city buzzed with energy.

Liam rested one hand on the steering wheel, pressed lightly on the accelerator and the car moved forward, merging into the city's flow.
